MAFS' Lucinda Light reveals sweet act to support Katie Johnson: 'Queen'
Married At First Sight viewers have rallied around Katie Johnson following her disastrous wedding to Tim Gromie, including one of the show's most memorable participants. Lucinda Light, who was a fan favourite on last year's season, encouraged fans to support the 2025 bride after Tim repeatedly turned down her advances and told producers that he had 'no attraction' to her.
Taking to social media on Wednesday evening, Lucinda described Katie as 'divine' and 'radiant' and said she understood how she felt after having a similar experience on the show. She also told her followers that she's invited Katie to appear as a guest at her upcoming live show in Brisbane.
'Brisbane friends, if you're coming to my show this Saturday night, you're in for a special treat - Katie will be there, along with other MAFS friends,' she wrote. 'Let's come together as a community and wrap this exquisite human in love and support. I want her to truly feel us standing behind her in solidarity.
'This experiment demands immense courage and vulnerability, and last night, my heart shattered for her. She deserves so much more! What a queen!'

While fans took to the comments to criticise MAFS producers for pairing Katie with Tim, many people said they were relieved to hear that she has Lucinda's support.
'I'm so glad she has you to guide her through,' one person wrote, while another added, 'Wonderful that you two have connected'.
'Last night I so wished you were on this series to support Katie, it was so hard to watch, but there are big and wonderful things waiting for her, she did not deserve what she got!' someone else shared.
Fans noticed after the 2025 cast was announced that Tim's cast photo looked remarkably different to his co-stars', suggesting that he chose not to participate in the official press photo day and has distanced himself from the series.

I wouldn't say I've ever been particularly claustrophobic, but after watching Netflix's first trailer for the German thriller 'Brick,' I can definitely feel the nightmare of confinement setting in. The premise is simple but intriguing: a couple wakes up to find their apartment building completely encased by an impenetrable brick wall that appeared overnight. The plot immediately reminded me of 'The Platform' and '10 Cloverfield Lane,' which are two of my favorite claustrophobic thrillers. So, it's no surprise this one went straight onto my summer watchlist. 'Brick' will land on Netflix on July 10, 2025, and judging by the first trailer, it looks like a mystery thriller viewers will devour (and maybe come to fear enclosed spaces a little more). The trailer opens with Olivia (Ruby O. Fee) telling her partner, Tim (Matthias Schweighöfer), that she's leaving him and not coming back. But as she tries to walk out of the apartment, she's met with a brick wall. Confused, they soon realize their entire building is surrounded by this strange structure. Like anyone would, they start kicking and throwing themselves against it, but it doesn't budge. The water doesn't work, there's no cell reception and even drilling through the brick gets them nowhere. Instead, they manage to break through a plastered wall and find their neighbor on the other side just as panicked as they are. You can feel the tension start to rise as Tim, Olivia, and the rest of the building's residents try to figure out what's happening and how to escape. But as the fear and claustrophobia set in, it's clear the real danger might be what's happening inside, not just outside. The trailer might reveal a bit more than it should, so the movie will need to pull off a truly unexpected twist to keep the story engaging and leave a lasting impact. Along with the trailer and release date, Netflix's synopsis reads: 'Tim and Olivia awake trapped in their apartment behind an impenetrable, futuristic wall which has materialized overnight … and they are not alone. The entire building and its residents seem to be enclosed. 'What happened? Who built that wall and why? Without any chance of outside help, they must band together to find a way out. Can they solve the mystery of the wall in time — and survive?' Nearly four years after starring together in 'Army of Thieves' (the prequel to 'Army of the Dead'), real-life couple Matthias Schweighöfer and Ruby O. Fee reunite for another Netflix project with 'Brick,' this time in a much darker, more suspenseful setting. 'Brick' is directed by Philip Koch and features a strong ensemble cast alongside Fee and Schweighöfer, including Frederick Lau, Salber Lee Williams, Murathan Muslu, Axel Werner, Sira-Anna Faal, and Alexander Beyer. Koch has a real knack for creating tense, atmospheric stories that feel just a little off-kilter in the best way, like he did with 'Tribes of Europa.' With 'Brick,' he seems to be bringing that same energy, turning a simple, contained setting into something eerie and unpredictable. There's a good chance this won't just be a survival thriller, as it looks to explore how people unravel under pressure. Given his background in sci-fi and psychological thrillers, Koch knows how to make familiar spaces feel strange and claustrophobic. If this new movie leans into that, it could end up being something really memorable. This is very much a claustrophobic thriller and one that will probably have you guessing until the very end. The trailer suggests a story that leans heavily into psychological pressure, exploring what happens to people when their world suddenly shrinks and the rules no longer make sense. Plus, it's perfect for anyone who enjoys a good single-location thriller. Visually, though, it actually looks pretty sharp and stylized, and I'm curious to see how it balances dread and mystery in the right way. Thankfully, we don't have long to wait to see the mystery unfold. If you're drawn to stories that thrive on slow-building tension, this one looks like it'll have you hooked from the first minute. Plane passenger spent 45 minutes eating putrid snack on flight: ‘Should be illegal'

As if air travel isn't stressful enough nowadays — owing to the recent increase in mid-flight meltdowns, delayed departures and chaotic crashes — frequent flyers are now forced to contend with the funky foodstuffs of their fellow passengers. 'The lady next to me decided to make tuna salad [while in] mid-air,' Katie Georges, a content creator, cried in the closed captions of TikTok footage featuring the woman's smelly spread. Viral visuals of the fragrant, flagrant foul show the unidentified foodie blending the fish with Greek yogurt and relish. The clip has scared up over 1.2 million views from outraged onlookers online, who've deemed the mile-high madness 'Instant no-fly list behavior,' and likened the stinky stunt to a 'federal offense.' And, unfortunately for Katie and the other trippers trapped on the sky-train, the tuna lover's snack wasn't just a quick bite. 'Took her 45 minutes to eat it all,' a crestfallen Katie captioned the post. Everybody nose that eating tuna on an airplane is totally funked up. Still, it's a in-the-clouds crime that seems to happen all the time. Ally, a lifestyle influencer, sent shockwaves through social media after sharing a snippet of an unnamed man chowing the canned treat during a recent flight. Irked by the pungent protein, Ally labeled the traveler's mealtime misdeed a 'crime against humanity.' Zavier Torrence echoed similar sentiments while on a separate trip, during which an inconsiderate jet-setter downed a fusty tuna melt sandwich. 'People who eat on flights need to be incarcerated for 10 days,' Torrence groaned in his vid. And it seems commenters beneath Katie's recording concur. 'Tuna should be on the list of things TSA confiscates,' an irate spectator spat. 'I would have started coughing and gagging,' added another. 'The officers would've been waiting for me at the gate,' wrote an equally peeved person, suggesting that being assaulted by the rank aroma of tuna would have triggered a violent eruption. 'I love me some tuna salad,' another admitted. 'But on a plane? Should be illegal.'

Farmer Wants A Wife winner exposes major secret about finale: 'Obvious'
After eight weeks of romantic dates, shocking twists, and the occasional kiss, this year's season of Farmer Wants A Wife is finally coming to an end. Farmer Corey and Farmer Jack will both make their decision this week and choose which of their two finalists they would like to pursue a relationship with in the real world. 'The editing this season, I'm like, what have you done? It's awful,' she told Yahoo Lifestyle last month. 'Everyone's like, 'Oh, I've been watching' and I'm like, 'Don't, it's the worst season'. According to Olivia, the remaining contestants from each of the farms get split into two groups ahead of the final decision. This allows the ladies to work out whether they're the winner or the runner-up based on who they're in a group with and how strong everyone else's connection is to their farmer. 'So if you're with a group of girls that you know are going to win, you're probably also going to win. And then if you're with the losers, you're part of the losers,' she explains. Olivia says that on her season, all of the final girls stayed together in Sydney and were split up before the final decision. 'They moved half of us to one location and half of us to the other, and they travelled us all in separate cars, and we didn't know who was with who,' she recalls. "But then they accidentally mixed up me and Annabelle [Greenaway], so then they had to swap me and Annabelle, and she figured out that she was with the girls who weren't going to win because everyone talks to each other. 'So they made a big kerfuffle and Annabelle cried and cried for the two days prior to the final decision and knew that she wasn't going to end up with Matt.' Regardless of whether or not you find love on Farmer Wants A Wife, Olivia says it's 'important' for the contestants to keep supporting each other, both on and off the show. 'It's all everyone's real life, and none of us are perfect, so just give each other grace and be kind,' she remarks. 'I didn't have a good relationship with Annabelle, for example, but I don't have any hatred for her. She is who she is, and she had feelings on the show.' This is what I'm going to need from you, what do you need from me?'. So we kind of planned for the bad stuff before it would even happen, and that was helpful,' she shares. 'But I think you just need to be kind to each other.'
