(Video) JUST B Member Bain Comes Out As Gay During LA Concert; Fans & Members React
Over the years, though not many, a number of Korean celebrities have come out as part of the LGBTQ+ community, sharing their journeys towards understanding their sexual and gender identities. That being said, some have faced significant public backlash after revealing this aspect of their identity.
Thankfully, in recent years, these stars have continued to thrive both professionally and personally, with the support of loyal fans. Many now hope the same will hold true for JUST B (저스트비) member Bain (배인), who recently found the courage to come out as queer — and did so in front of a live audience during a concert. Here's what happened:
K-pop boy group JUST B are currently on their 2025 world tour, titled '[JUST ODD]', with their most recent show held in Los Angeles. Mid-concert, during his solo stage, Bain paused his performance to share something personal with the crowd. 'Alright, before I start the next song, I want to share something with you guys. I'm fucking proud to be part of the LGBTQ community,' he said, prompting an outpouring of cheers and support from fans in response to his brave declaration.
The idol continued: 'As a gay person… shoutout to my queen, Lady Gaga, for showing me that being different is beautiful. To anyone out there who's part of the LGBTQ+ community or is still figuring things out, this is for you. And this is also for everyone.' He then resumed the show with a performance of Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way', where he was also seen waving a Pride flag. The moment quickly went viral on social media, with fans around the world expressing their support for the singer, many sharing how proud they felt.
As for the other JUST B members, it's clear they've known for some time. The group were seen hugging Bain as he returned to the stage for the next performance. During a livestream later that evening, Sangwoo and Geonu expressed how proud they were of their bandmate for having the courage to be his true self. 'We're so proud of him, guys. He's so cool,' they told viewers. The group's official Instagram page also reposted the 23-year-old's reel of his on-stage coming out on their Stories, a quiet but meaningful gesture of support.
Perhaps Bain's actions will inspire more idols to be open about their sexual and gender identities. Regardless, it's heartening to see that he feels safe enough to share this part of himself with his bandmates and fans. May he and the group continue to thrive in the future.

'Imagine How He Treats Her In Private' – Foreigner Takes Rosyam Nor's Viral Video Out Of Context
Subscribe to our FREE Earlier this month, a video showing a 'domestic dispute' going down in a supermarket went viral on social media. Meanwhile, social media influencer Some viewed the marketing stunt as distasteful, as it displayed what could be seen as domestic abuse. Others thought it was insensitive towards couples who were going through real problems in their household. A foreigner saw the video and took it out of context While the incident has been debunked as a viral stunt here, enter Dahlia Kurtz. Describing herself as a 'Jew. Grandchild of Holocaust survivors' on Twitter, she posted the video yesterday, captioned: 'If her husband acts like that in public, imagine how he treats her in private.' Twitter users were quick to add context to the post, which now appears at the bottom to inform those who stumble upon her tweet that the video was just a marketing stunt. Gimik kepala otak Rosyam Noor..🤔 — JalalMisai (@jllmisai) Many in the comments section blamed the video for spreading a poor image of Islam and providing 'ammunition' to foreigners to criticise the religion even more. A user also highlighted how, in the video, the male actor was throwing food items from his 'wife's' shopping trolley, which can be perceived as disrepectful and being ungrateful towards resources that we have. Another individual warned others to be careful when creating content that could be used to spread negativity or slander upon religion. The video was meant to highlight the market's affordable prices To give an idea of what the marketing stunt was meant to communicate, the actors were 'fighting' over their shopping at ST Rosyam Mart. The man was supposedly angry that his wife was spending too much at the market, while she told him that she never gets to shop. Giving in to his anger, he hurled items from the shopping trolley and eventually flipped the entire cart on its side, spilling everything on the ground. Later, the couple 'met' Rosyam on the way out and he tried to 'settle' the dispute before telling them that his mart offers some of the cheapest prices in Malaysia, and gave a guarantee to the man that shopping there will not drive him to the poor house. #SHOWBIZ: DJ Soda reveals heartbreaking hair damage after bleaching incident
SEOUL: South Korean artiste DJ Soda recently took to Instagram to share a deeply upsetting and personal experience: a hair bleaching session that went horribly awry. In a candid bilingual post (Korean and English), the 37-year-old star opened with a blunt, heartbreaking statement: "Hair salon ruined my hair." She explained that after concluding her tour and taking a three-year hiatus from hair colouring to restore her tresses' health, she decided to go blonde again as a surprise for her fans. Trusting her usual salon, she returned for the treatment, expecting professional care. "My hair was originally thick, full, and in healthy condition," she lamented. Tragically, the bleach was left on for far too long, causing her hair to 'melt' from the roots. The damage was so severe that she had no choice but to shave the entire back and sides of her head. The ordeal left DJ Soda absolutely devastated. "I was so upset that I couldn't sleep for two weeks and cried almost every day," she confessed. "It's really hard for me to look in the mirror. When I see videos fans took of me, I feel even more heartbroken." Despite her typically cheerful and energetic stage persona, DJ Soda revealed that recovery — both physically and emotionally — will be a protracted journey. She estimates it will take at least two years for her hair to fully recover. She urged fans to exercise extreme caution when considering hair bleaching, emphasising the critical importance of choosing a skilled and experienced stylist. "Don't end up like me – bleaching really depends on the hairstylist's skill. Please seek specialists and do thorough research beforehand." In a shocking follow-up post just a day later, DJ Soda made another grave accusation: instead of offering a sincere apology, the salon allegedly contacted her, requesting she delete the initial post and offering money along with a settlement agreement. "Even if I were offered billions, it would not undo the damage to my appearance or the pain I'm currently enduring," she wrote defiantly. "I have given them ample opportunity to resolve the issue." She further claimed that she had not received any apology or direct contact from the salon for three weeks following the harrowing incident. "All I ever wanted was for them to honestly admit their mistake and offer a genuine apology." By going public with her distressing story, DJ Soda hopes to raise awareness and ultimately protect others from enduring a similar trauma. Her posts have garnered widespread sympathy from fans and followers alike, with many commending her bravery and transparency in speaking out about such a personal and painful experience.

#SHOWBIZ: Paris Hilton buys Mark Wahlberg's RM270mil mansion after losing home in LA wildfires
LOS ANGELES: Paris Hilton has reportedly purchased a luxurious Beverly Park mansion previously owned by actor Mark Wahlberg. The acquisition follows the devastating loss of her Malibu home in the Los Angeles wildfires earlier this year. According to The Wall Street Journal and AsiaOne, the 44-year-old reality TV star, entrepreneur, and DJ acquired the expansive 2,833-square-metre estate for a reported US$63 million (RM269.51 million). The grand 12-bedroom property boasts high-end features, including a wine cellar, his-and-hers bathrooms, a sweeping staircase, a library, and a state-of-the-art gym. The lavish grounds offer a host of recreational amenities: a basketball court, a tennis court, a private skate park, a five-hole golf course with a driving range, and a resort-style swimming pool complete with waterslides. Wahlberg and his wife, Rhea Durham, had sold the home for US$55 million (RM235.29 million) in February 2023. Paris, who shares two children—Phoenix and London—with husband Carter Reum, has been searching for a new residence since her previous home was destroyed by fire. At the time of the incident, she posted a heartfelt message on Instagram: "Heartbroken beyond words. Sitting with my family, watching the news, and seeing our home in Malibu burn to the ground on live TV is something no one should ever have to experience. This home was where we built so many precious memories. It's where Phoenix took his first steps and where we dreamed of building a lifetime of memories with London. We're in this together, LA. Hug your loved ones a little tighter tonight. You never know when everything could change." With her new home, Hilton is now looking to rebuild those dreams and embark on a new chapter in her life.
