Charlie Sheen's daughter Sami accuses ‘disgusting' sister Lola of being ‘homophobic and transphobic'
Sami Sheen accused her sister Lola Sheen of being 'homophobic and transphobic' after the OnlyFans star was blocked on social media by her sibling. The eldest daughter of Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen ranted about Lola's alleged bigotry in a video posted to her TikTok on Thursday. 'My mum did an amazing job raising me and my sister to be very accepting of everyone's sexuality and gender identity and everything else under the sun,' Sami began in her rant. 'That's why it is so sad for me to see that my own sister is homophobic and transphobic now,' she continued. Sami admitted that she wasn't going to 'take to the internet' but addressed that Lola's re-posts are 'public for everyone to see.' The model was referring to Lola re-posting a video of Christian podcaster Bryce Crawford claiming that being transgender is a sin. 'She has been re-posting this man's stuff,' Sami said. 'It disgusts me because it's so sad that she's this confirmed to her religion that she thinks like this.' Sami also said that her sister re-shared a video of Crawford mocking people at a Pride parade. 'I asked Lola if she would want to come to a Pride party with me and she laughed in my face,' Sami claimed. Sami, 21, also claimed that Lola, 20, 'got really weird' when she asked her how she would feel if she married a woman. '[She] was like, 'Well, I mean I guess I would come to the wedding but I think every woman needs a man to provide for them,'' Sami alleged. Sami emphasised how 'sad' she was to be related to 'someone like this', despite being raised the same way. 'I am a part of the f***ing LGBTQ+ community and I wish my sister was a f***ing ally,' she said. 'It's just honestly disgusting, close-minded behaviour.' Sami is hoping that Lola will 'snap out of this eventually' and admitted that she was making the video because her sister blocked her on the app. 'She can't even have the decency to respond to me,' Sami said, showing a screenshot of their private messages, in which she asked Lola why she re-posted the video of Crawford. 'Lola, if you're watching this, I urge you, just for five minutes, put the bible down. It's gonna be OK, you can live without it for five minutes and pick up a Pride flag and support the f***ing community,' she said. Sami begged her sister to 'do better' and said that she was 'embarrassed' to have an alleged homophobic sister. The older sibling said she understands people have their own beliefs but they shouldn't force them on other people. 'Someone's sexuality and someone's gender identity should not affect you. Who gives a sh*t what someone identifies as?' Sami said. 'If that makes them happy, let them be. Stop trying to tell people that there's something wrong with them because they identify a certain way.' Lola has been open about her Christian faith and shared earlier this year that she got baptised after hitting 'rock bottom.' Sami and Lola both starred in their family's Bravo reality show, Denise Richards and Her Wild Things, which premiered earlier this year. Page Six reached out to Lola's rep for comment.

Hungarian Police Ban Budapest Pride March, Citing Protection of Children

BUDAPEST, June 19 (Reuters) – Hungarian police said on Thursday that they were banning the Budapest Pride march of the LGBTQ+ community planned for June 28, despite the city's mayor saying it was a municipal event that requires no permits from authorities. Hungary's parliament, in which Prime Minister Viktor Orban's right-wing Fidesz Party has a big majority, passed legislation in March that created a legal basis for police to ban LGBTQ marches, citing the protection of children. It also lets police use facial recognition cameras to identify people who attend. Budapest's liberal mayor Gergely Karacsony tried to circumvent the law when he announced on Monday that since the Budapest Pride march will be a municipal event 'no permits from authorities are needed'. Budapest metropolitan police, however, said the law applied to the event organised by the mayor and banned it. The police ban has 'no relevance' as authorities were not officially notified of the plans for the event, Karacsony said on Facebook. 'The Metropolitan Municipality will host the Budapest Pride Freedom Celebration on June 28, the day of Hungarian freedom, as a municipal event. Period,' the mayor wrote. Tens of thousands of people are expected to attend the protest. Orban faces a challenging election in 2026 where a new surging opposition party poses a threat to his rule. His government has a Christian conservative agenda and its intensifying campaign against the LGBTQ community has aimed to please Fidesz's core voters, mostly in the countryside. Orban said in February that organisers should not even bother organising Pride in Budapest this year.

Varadkar says election of Farage as UK prime minister could influence a united Ireland vote
Mr Varadkar, who stood down as taoiseach in April last year, said it is possible Mr Farage will be prime minister in four years or nine years' time. He described British politics as 'very volatile'. Reform made big gains in local elections in England and Wales last month. Mr Varadkar told BBC Northern Ireland's The View programme that he hoped Mr Farage will not be the next British prime minister. The former Fine Gael leader said if Mr Farage became prime minister, it would 'change the pictures in terms of attitudes towards independence in Scotland'. 'I think it would change the views of some people in the middle ground in Northern Ireland [towards Irish unity],' he said. 'It isn't just because a right-wing nationalist government in London would want to bring the UK and Northern Ireland away from Europe. It is other things as well.' Mr Varadkar also claimed that councils run by Reform in England were preventing people from flying Pride or progress flags. 'I don't think most people in Northern Ireland would like that,' he said. 'If that's the kind of government they had in London versus a government in Dublin that was very different, it might make them more likely to vote yes to unification. 'I do want to be very clear about this, it's not something I hope happens.' Mr Varadkar said he believes planning for a united Ireland should be taking place, but that a date should not be fixed, as the numbers to win are not in place. 'I don't think a united Ireland is inevitable, I think it's something that we have to work towards,' he said. 'But I think there are a lot of factors that would suggest that we're on that trajectory. 'Demographic factors, polling, even the most recent numbers showing that a very clear majority of younger people in Northern Ireland want there to be a new united Ireland. 'I think that will carry true, and that's why I think it's something that we should plan for.' He said Irish unity will not happen 'by osmosis or by accident'. 'I think it has to be worked towards. I think those of us who believe in it have a duty to make the case for it,' he said.

Since Prime Minister Viktor Orban returned to power in 2010, Hungary has passed a series of laws which have been criticised at home and across the European Union for curtailing the rights of the country's sexual and gender minorities in the name of 'child protection'. 'The police, acting within their authority over public assemblies, prohibit the holding of the assembly at the aforementioned location and time,' the police said on their website. STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD Police said the ban was necessary under recent legislation that bans the promotion of same-sex relationships to under-18s. They said any appeal against the decision must be lodged with the central European country's supreme court within three days. Budapest's liberal Mayor Gergely Karacsony vowed to hold the gathering despite the ban. He said the police decision had 'no value' because the march did not require official authorisation anyway, as it was an event organised by the city council. 'Budapest city hall will organise the Budapest Pride march on June 28 as a city event. Period,' he wrote on Facebook. On Monday he had announced that Budapest city hall would organise the march in an attempt to sidestep the recently adopted law. Mayor accused of 'cheating' One senior government figure on Wednesday accused the mayor of 'trying to cheat'. 'All events of this type have to be announced, and the police have the right to ban them,' said Gergely Gulyas, head of Orban's office. 'No serious legal expert would try to dispute that.' In mid-March, the Hungarian parliament passed a bill aimed at banning any gathering that violates an anti-LGBTQ law adopted in 2021. The 2021 law prohibits the 'display or promotion of homosexuality' to under-18s. In its decision published Thursday, police said that the march 'by its very nature cannot be held without the representation' of people belonging to the LGBTQ community and that under-18s could be present along the route. STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD 'If it cannot be stated with absolute certainty that the display is not taking place in the presence of persons under 18 years of age, the assembly would be in breach of the ban,' the police said. Hungarian lawmakers in April overwhelmingly backed constitutional changes that strengthened the legal foundations for banning the Pride march. Pro-LGBTQ protests The government said the annual event could be held at an enclosed location like a stadium, out of sight of children. The conflict over the Pride march has already sparked protests in Hungary. Thousands of people blocked bridges in the capital, demanding the ban be repealed. Several members of the European Parliament have said they will attend the parade. European equalities commissioner Hadja Lahbib is also due to attend the march, as are ministers from several European Union countries, the organisers said. Attendees risk a fine of up to 500 euros ($570), which the Hungarian authorities say will be channelled into 'child protection' projects. Police may use facial recognition technology to identify them.
