Harvey Elliott On Target in U21 Euro Action
Footballing fortunes are fickle. One moment you're the toast of the town, the next you're being shown the quickest exit out.
It's not quite that dire for Liverpool's Harvey Elliott, but it is quite drastic to consider that he went from being The Next Big Thing - along with a string of performances over the past season and a half to make that proclamation feel sound - to now being seen as surplus at the club. The Avatar found it hard to break into Arne Slot's squad this past season and now that the Reds have signed Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen, finding a place in next season's plans must seem further away.

It's a testament to his quality, though, that Elliott was named to England's squad for the U21 Euros this summer and his performance against Spain in the quarterfinals only underscores just how good the young player is. Harvey helped the Baby Lions reach the semifinals by scoring the second goal of the match - coincidentally his second goal of the tournament - as England cruised past Spain, 3-1.
Joining Elliott in the squad are fellow Reds Jarell Quansah and Tyler Morton. In fact, it was a rebound off of a shot from Quansah that fell to Elliott for the key moment. It's also quite the coincidence that Quansah is also rumored to be headed out the door.
As of the moment, though, both are still Liverpool players. Here's hoping that they have a successful tournament and, if they both end up staying on Merseyside, they manage to put in the kind of work that earns the trust of Arne Slot. I'd love nothing more than to root for Academy lads reaching their potential at the club.

Bally Spring 2026 Menswear Collection
Bally has been linked to sports since the beginning of the Swiss brand, in 1851. Technical footwear has long played a role, too, including Bally's first tennis shoe in 1937, along with various shoes made for horse riding and golf, and the hiking boots used in the 1950s for the first ascent of Mount Everest. Today's Tennis collection for spring 2026 nodded to that history with a mixture of tradition and reinterpretation. The sweatshirts were more ironic, with tennis-related patches and vintage-inspired logos. Knitwear was an off-duty reinterpretation of braided twin-sets. An archival print of small tennis balls was widely used—also in a bright green accent—for short-sleeved shirts and lightweight scarves; the white and burgundy Bally ribbon was reprised, especially for accessories. Retro travel bags, themed canvas totes, and shoulder strap bags in perforated leather—the Bally signature Beckett model—were among the main accessories, together with more playful ones such as the cylindrical (and unconventional) clutch, the racket holder and a micro-tennis-ball-shaped keychain.

Feyi-Waboso was sent off during the England XV's 26-24 loss to a France XV on Saturday at Twickenham. He will be available for the test against the United States on July 19 in Washington, D.C., if he completes World Rugby's tackle school.
