Power In Democracy Never Permanent, Must Be Wielded With Humility: Rajnath Singh To BJP Leaders
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Monday sent a strong message to BJP workers and party leaders outlining that power in democracy is never permanent and should bring humility and not arrogance. Addressing the BJP's three-day training camp in Pachmarhi, Madhya Pradesh, Singh cautioned party leaders that power must be wielded with humility. Today the mandate may rest with one leader, he said, but tomorrow it may shift elsewhere.
'Arrogance must be avoided and public service embraced with honesty and accountability,' said the Defence Minister. Citing icons like Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Deendayal Upadhyay, and Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, he painted a portrait of political life centred on values, restraint, and dedication to national service. Rajanth Singh's guidance reflected not only his role as Defence Minister but also his stature as a former BJP national president.
Talking about Operation Sindoor, Singh reiterated 'Jinh mohi mara, te mai maare…' (I hit those who hit me) from the Ramcharitmanas, invoking the spirit behind India's recent Operation Sindoor. His message came just weeks after the Pahalgam terror attack, in which 26 civilians, including a Nepali national, were killed by Pakistan-backed militants.
Operation Sindoor, launched on May 7, was India's measured yet assertive response, targeting nine terror hubs linked to Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed, and Hizbul Mujahideen across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Defence Minister Singh described Operation Sindoor as a restrained operation guided by justice, not provocation. Amid this backdrop of national resolve, the Defence Minister addressed more than 200 BJP MPs and MLAs at the camp in the hill station Pachmarhi, once a colonial settlement, delivering a powerful message about leadership, morality, and public duty.

During childhood, we also used to oppose English but it has become the need of the hour, so we also changed our 'approach', he said. Today, in the era of computers, internet, Artificial Intelligence, the young generation can be completely successful in life through English, Mr Gehlot said. Centre increased reservation for minorities: Hebbalkar
Udupi: "The central govt has increased the reservation for minorities in the housing scheme by 5%. The state govt has only approved this. In this matter, BJP members are unnecessarily finding fault," said Laxmi Hebbalkar, minister of women and child development. Speaking to reporters on Friday, the minister said there are no other issues left before the BJP for political debate. Initially, they criticised the guarantee schemes, claiming they would not succeed. Even after we won 136 seats, they said the govt wouldn't last six months, she said. Responding to the NSUI's objection to Hindutva orator Chakravarthy Sulibele's lecture in Kundapura, the minister said, "Chakravarthy Sulibele is a king of lies. He speaks of the Ramayana, Bhagavad Gita, and Mahabharata, but everyone in Karnataka knows the extent of his lies. He is adept at turning black into white and vice versa." "The Congress party has provided all kinds of freedoms, including freedom of speech. In the history of the country, Congress is the party that upheld the Constitution," the minister remarked. "We do not need lessons from Chakravarthy Sulibele. It was learnt from police that Sulibele will be in Udupi for three days. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Giao dịch CFD với công nghệ và tốc độ tốt hơn IC Markets Đăng ký Undo He is certainly free to travel, but should refrain from making hate speeches, spreading lies, or sowing seeds of discord," said Hebbalkar.
