Acerbi lost his temper after a PSG fan teased him about Inter Milan's Champions League defeat, threatening the fan about 'beating the hell out' of him.
Tensions overflowed at the Inter Milan camp as veteran defender Francesco Acerbi lost his temper after a fan wearing a Paris Saint-Germain shirt in Seattle teased him about the previous month's Champions League final.
The fan mentioned a humiliating moment from Inter's 5-0 defeat by the French champions in Munich, where Acerbi was left sprawling after some impressive footwork by Bradley Barcola.
The Italian then threatened to beat him up if the taunting continued.
In a video that went viral on social media, the visibly irritated Italian international sought the help of a translator during a meet-and-greet with fans.

The translator told the fan in English: 'You must be serious with him."
Seconds later, Acerbi intervened, saying in Italian: 'I'm serious. Don't make fun of me — I don't like it. … I'm crazy, I'll beat the crap out of you."
Acerbi quickly moved on, posing for photos with other fans.
Inter's new head coach, Chivu, who took over from Simone Inzaghi after the Italian departed for Al-Hilal in the wake of the Champions League final loss to PSG, said he would like to construct a team that can take control of matches.
'I think every coach would love a team that dominates because you need to show your technical ability, you need to show character and personality," explained the former Inter defender.
'You need to show that you can dominate the ball, that you can set the tempo, that you can find solutions both when you are moving the ball from side to side and when you're playing a bit more direct.
'That's the dream of all coaches, having the game by the scruff of the neck, controlling proceedings."
Inter will face the Urawa Red Diamonds next in Group E on Saturday.

Florian Wirtz joins list of most expensive soccer signings in history

Florian Wirtz became one of the most expensive players in soccer history when the Germany playmaker joined Liverpool from Bayer Leverkusen on Friday for a fee of up to 116 million pounds ($156 million). Neymar: $262 million (222 million euros) Paris Saint-Germain shattered the world-record transfer fee by signing the Brazil superstar from Barcelona in August 2017. It was more than double the outlay of Manchester United to sign Paul Pogba from Juventus for $116 million a year earlier. It remains the record transfer fee. Kylian Mbappé: $216 million (180 million euros) A few weeks after buying Neymar, PSG also secured a loan deal for Mbappé — then the rising star of French soccer playing for Monaco — that included the option to make the move permanent in 2018. PSG did so, making it an outlay of nearly $500 million on two players. Philippe Coutinho: $192 million (160 million euros) Flush with cash after selling Neymar a year earlier, Barcelona spent most of it in a deal to buy Brazil playmaker Coutinho from Liverpool for a Spanish record fee. Moises Caicedo: $146 million (115 million pounds) The Ecuador midfielder's move was previously the most expensive deal by a British club, with Chelsea buying him from Brighton in August 2023. João Félix: $140 million (126 million euros) Atletico Madrid triggered a buyout clause in Félix's contract to sign the Portugal forward from Benfica in August 2019. Jude Bellingham: $139 million (128.5 million euros) The England star got his big move to Real Madrid from Borussia Dortmund in June 2023, for an initial up-front fee of 103 million euros plus add-ons linked to performance. Antoine Griezmann: $134 million (120 million euros) Atletico could afford to sign Félix after selling France forward Griezmann to Barcelona for a similar fee a few weeks earlier. Neymar: $98 million (90 million euros) Outside from Europe, the biggest transfer deal also involved Neymar when he joined Al Hilal, a team in the Saudi Pro League, from Paris Saint-Germain in August 2023. That came at the height of Saudi Arabia's push to sign high-end soccer talent to ignite the oil-rich state's domestic league.

You don't massively miss someone that averages 33... Michael Vaughan Takes A Jibe At Former India Captains Test Retirement

Former England captain Michael Vaughan believes that the Indian side full of youngsters will not miss the services of their Former captain and one of the modern greats of Batting, Virat Kohli. Virat announced his retirement from Test cricket in May before the team was announced for the anticipated five-Test series against England. Kohli scored a century in the First test against Australia at Perth but what followed in the series were a patch of horrible dismissals and a dismal run managing to score mere 190 runs in the five Test matches. The fans and cricket experts still believed that a player of his stature and legacy will be given an longer rope and he will be considered for the England Tour, Virat announced his retirement after Indian captain Rohit Sharma retired, and considering it was an entire young unit at the English conditions, Virat's expertise and experience would have been the key. The retirement came as a shock, taking the internet and cricketing world by a storm. Vaughan On Kohli Vaughan without mincing his words stated how the team will miss Kohli's aggression on the field but pointed out his 33 average in UK as a batter stating the team is good to go without him. "Kohli is a legend and a culture creator around this Indian team, and what he brought as a captain to the team is still there in terms of the energy and the drive and the aggression. But he only averaged 33 here in the UK. You don't massively miss someone that averages 33, but you miss someone that brings so much to the dressing room," he said. "These players that are going to come in and play for India, they're seriously good players. Maybe this new generation has been waiting. Maybe they've been waiting for this moment. Don't be surprised that they play really well," he added. Kohli has played 17 Tests against England scoring 1096 runs at an average of 33.21 runs. He had a disappointing 2014 season, but made a miraculous comeback in 2018.

IND vs ENG LIVE Cricket Score, 1st Test Day 2: Leeds weather in focus as Gill, Pant aim to bat on; IND 359/3 vs ENG

India vs England 1st Test Day 2, ENG vs IND Live Cricket Score Updates: After an opening day that went terribly off the script, Ben Stokes' England will hope to rally back into the game after Shubman Gill led India with a scintillating century at Headingley, Leeds. Erring at the toss on a flat surface, Stokes and Co. are staring at the possibility of a huge first-innings deficit as Gill, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rishabh Pant powered India to 359 for three before close on Friday evening. The foundation to pepper the bowlers post Lunch was laid in the morning session when KL Rahul and Jaiswal expertly mixed caution and aggression to negate the English seamers any leeway on a strip that offered minimial assistance. On a day where Stokes emerged as the standout bowler, the English skipper had all three of his lead seam cast – Chris Woakes, Brydon Carse and Josh Toungue – concede runs at excess of four runs per over. India's legendary batter Sachin Tendulkar said the opening day's contest reminded him of the 2002 Headingley Test when India breached 600 in the first innings with three individual tons. Can the Indians emulate the feat and enforce pressure on the Bazballers in their backyard? The great Indian batting story never ends If there were any lingering doubts of the age of transition and probable turmoil for the Indian batting group in their first assignment since the retirements of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, young opener Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill allayed any fears as they thwarted England with flair and character on the opening day.
