According to Syria's state news agency SANA, Israeli warplanes launched multiple strikes targeting areas around Daraa city.
Meanwhile, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that the attack struck a military site hosting forces from Syria's new army.
The Israeli army stated that its recent attacks in Syria targeted command headquarters and military sites belonging to the former regime, following attempts to restore their operational capacity.
The army described the presence of such military infrastructure in southern Syria as a direct threat to Israel, vowing to prevent any military buildup in the region and take action against it.
