Their longstanding bond, forged over casual hangouts and tour moments, has evolved into a creative partnership. In a 2023 interview with UPROXX, SZA reflected on their friendship: 'We kept talking and hanging out. The other day, I went over to her house... she gave me a muumuu, and we just laid in the yard... this is what the f*** friendship is about.'

Lizzo recently revealed that her fifth studio album, Love in Real Life, is complete. 'ALBUM IS DONE YALL!' she announced on Instagram, adding that she managed to finish it the same day she underwent an emergency root canal and confirmed her Saturday Night Live appearance.
However, the release of her first single from the album, Still Bad, has drawn criticism—particularly over its upbeat tone. Responding via X (formerly Twitter), Lizzo defended her sound, calling negative takes on her style 'lazy.' She argued that optimistic music has long been part of Black musical history, referencing artists like James Brown, Funkadelic, and Janet Jackson. ''Still Bad' is a break-up song with the world,' she explained, highlighting the track's message about disconnecting from digital toxicity.
Despite backlash, Lizzo remains steadfast in her artistic direction, asserting, 'I'm out here reclaiming rock n roll for US.'

Tammy Slaton reveals stunning transformation after 500lb weight loss and skin removal surgery
Tammy Slaton, star of the popular TLC show 1000lb Sisters, has unveiled a remarkable transformation after shedding 500 pounds and undergoing significant skin removal surgery. The 38-year-old, whose weight-loss journey has been widely followed alongside her sister Amy, recently shared an emotional update on her progress during an episode of the show. In a clip posted on TLC's Instagram, Tammy and Amy revisited the S&S Salvage junkyard, a location they first visited six years ago when they were just starting their health journey. Tammy proudly displayed her slimmer physique, having successfully lost 500lbs since her highest weight of 725lbs. Additionally, Tammy underwent skin removal surgery to address the excess skin left behind by her significant weight loss. "I felt like complete trash the last time I was here," Amy, her sister, reflected in the video, recalling their first visit. At that time, the sisters were struggling with their weight and were waiting for approval to undergo gastric bypass surgery. Tammy, who weighed 605lbs in 2019, admitted to feeling immense emotional pain seeing her weight on the scale. In the present-day clip, Tammy stepped on the scale and revealed her current weight of 216lbs, a milestone in her weight-loss journey. In April, she shared that she had reached 238lbs, and she spoke about how challenging yet rewarding the transformation has been. Despite her success, Tammy also offered support to her sister Amy, who had gained some weight back but still had lost 150lbs overall. Tammy's journey also took a pivotal turn with her skin removal surgery, a procedure she had been working toward for years. After losing over 500lbs, she was finally approved for the surgery. "I was overwhelmed with excitement," she said in a People interview. "It's been six years of hard work to get to this point." The surgery, which took place on January 18, involved the removal of more than 15lbs of excess skin from Tammy's chin, arms, and lower stomach. During the show's season finale, her family members, including siblings Amanda and Chris, expressed their admiration for her progress. Beyond her physical transformation, Tammy also shared a personal update regarding her romantic life. Following the death of her husband, Caleb Willingham, in 2023, she revealed that she is now dating a woman. Tammy, who identifies as pansexual, admitted she had not yet told her family about the relationship, noting their likely reaction. This latest chapter in Tammy Slaton's life marks not just a significant weight-loss achievement but also a personal evolution, as she continues to navigate her health and identity in the public eye.
