Subtle redefining
Above Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda PF Micro-Rotor
Parmigiani Fleurier's Tonda PF Micro-Rotor continues its quiet homage to the enduring allure of platinum. This new limited edition appears in a moody shade of deep blue stone, sheathed in a 40mm case of 950 platinum—pure, understated opulence.
Its standout feature is its remarkable slimness—just 7.8mm, made possible by the 3mm PF703 ultra-thin movement, integrated with a platinum micro-rotor. This enables both mechanical prowess and graceful finesse. The dial, dressed in a grain d'orge guilloché pattern, offers layered texture while maintaining a minimalist sensibility.
Rooted in the philosophy of discreet elegance, this piece echoes Le Corbusier's ethos—intentional, poised and considered. With only 25 pieces created, it is a rare find for the connoisseur collector.

Above Bulgari & MB&F Serpenti
For those who once doubted the synergy between Bulgari and MB&F, the Flying T Allegra of 2019 swiftly silenced them. This year, the two maisons push further, unveiling an even more audacious creation.
The new Serpenti is a spectacular metamorphosis reimagining Bulgari's iconic femininity as a feat of mechanical ingenuity. Its layered 53mm case cradles twin rotating aluminium domes, each displaying the time and mimicking the hypnotic gaze of a serpent. At its centre, a 14mm flying balance wheel pulses like the beating heart of a mechanical being.
Far from a conventional jewellery timepiece, this is a kinetic sculpture, defying tradition. Each of the 33 limited editions crafted in titanium, rose gold or black PVD-coated steel is the result of three years of research and devotion, a symphony of precision and artistic flair. The openworked dial completes the silhouette—fierce, refined, and utterly singular. Continuing the legacy
Above Credor Locomotive GCCR997
The spirit of Gérald Genta lives on in the latest Credor creation, drawing inspiration from the legendary Locomotive. This edition features a 38.8mm titanium case, housing the automatic Calibre CR01, which delivers a 45-hour power reserve combining reliability with refined performance.
The watch's defining features include a distinctive hexagonal case, a striking blue dial with precise geometric motifs, and a mix of brushed and polished finishes across the case and strap creating a play of textures that catches the light with sophistication. At 8.9mm thick, it offers a reassuring yet elegant weight on the wrist. With a water resistance of up to 100 metres, it proves to be a versatile companion in varied settings.
Set to launch at retail boutiques next month, this design continues the legacy of a true icon. Eternal mark

10 signature jewellery pieces that define luxury brands

2. Bulgari Serpenti Slinky, sculptural and steeped in symbolism, Bulgari's Serpenti has slithered its way into the canon of signature jewellery pieces by luxury brands. Since the 1940s, its sinuous form has wrapped around the wrists and necks of screen sirens and style icons, embodying transformation, eternity and Italian audacity. Crafted with enamel scales or pavé diamonds, Serpenti remains the house's most hypnotic emblem. Don't miss: How Bulgari's Serpenti has evolved over 75 years 3. Van Cleef & Arpels Alhambra First launched in 1968, the four-leaf clover of the Alhambra motif has become synonymous with Van Cleef & Arpels. Worn by the likes of Princess Grace of Monaco, this signature piece symbolises luck, love and effortless elegance. Whether in mother-of-pearl, onyx or malachite, the Alhambra is one of the most timeless and recognisable signature jewellery pieces by luxury brands. Tiffany & Co Open Heart and T collections From Elsa Peretti's sculptural Open Heart to the architectural lines of the T Collection, Tiffany & Co has no shortage of icons. These designs capture the brand's New York spirit—bold, clean and instantly wearable. As far as signature jewellery pieces by luxury brands go, Tiffany's offerings balance sentimentality with strength. 5. Chanel Camélia and Coco Crush Coco Chanel's favourite flower, the camellia, is immortalised in Chanel's fine jewellery as a delicate, almost ethereal bloom. Meanwhile, Coco Crush, with its quilted motif, translates the maison's haute couture heritage into gold and diamonds. These collections embody the brand's ability to merge fashion and fine craftsmanship into truly signature premium jewellery. 6. Hermès Collier de Chien What began in the 1920s as a chic leather collar for French bulldogs (yes, really) evolved into the Collier de Chien—a metal-studded cuff that would become Hermès' most rebellious signature. Polished yet punk, elegant but dangerous, it's been spotted on everyone from Madonna to modern-day fashion editors. It may not scream Hermès as loudly as a Birkin, but it growls just enough. 7. Graff Butterfly and Icon collections Graff's butterfly motif, rendered in dazzling diamonds, represents the house's obsession with symmetry and light. Its Icon collection, meanwhile, showcases exceptional stones in minimalist settings, letting the gems speak for themselves. For a brand known for record-breaking diamonds, these signature designs are surprisingly restrained—yet utterly unforgettable. 8. Piaget Possession With rotating bands and playful mechanics, Piaget's Possession collection invites interaction. This signature line embodies the house's philosophy of movement, joy and understated glamour. It's a tactile, joyful twist on the classic luxury jewellery narrative. 9. Chaumet's Joséphine tiara rings Chaumet has been crafting tiaras for royalty since the Napoleonic era, but the Joséphine collection cleverly downsized that grandeur into rings and pendants you could wear to dinner without a coronation. Named after Napoleon's empress, these pieces echo tiara silhouettes—pear-shaped diamonds perched like little crowns. Among connoisseurs of haute joaillerie, it's Chaumet's not-so-quiet reminder: some legacies are worn, not shouted. 10. Chopard Happy Diamonds When Chopard launched its Happy Diamonds collection in 1976, the idea of letting diamonds float freely behind sapphire glass was downright radical. But those twirling little gems weren't just playful—they were a revelation. Elegant yet whimsical, Happy Diamonds became a symbol of 20th-century joie de vivre and are still a house staple today. Movement, after all, is the essence of happiness. And luxury that dares to dance? Timeless. See more: Inside Chopard's gold foundry and watchmaking manufacture

Like a True Dandy, A$AP Rocky Wore His Own Design to the 2025 Met Gala

As an official co-chair of the 2025 Met Gala, A$AP Rocky was of course expected arrive in a memorable look. And like a true modern-day dandy (or 'Fashion Killa,' rather) the Vogue May cover star did not disappoint. The star chose to wear a custom design from his own creative agency, AWGE. (Talk about the ultimate style flex: 'Oh this? It was custom made for me, by me.') Doing a contemporary spin on tailoring, Rocky took a cool, sportswear-minded route that reflected his impeccable personal style: He wore a double-breasted AWGE parka in technical wool, complete with coated snaps and velcro detailing on the sleeves. The jacket was inspired by the Marmot outerwear Rocky saw being worn in his native Harlem growing up. To him, the jackets represented modern-day dandyism, and he wanted to pay homage to that. 'Marmots are a Harlem tradition; in the winter, everyone has a Marmot on,' Rocky told Vogue during his final fitting in New York. 'That was our teenage jacket.' Rocky's longtime stylist Matthew Henson, who played a pivotal role in bringing the design to life, adds, 'Rocky wanted to do something new and original. He wanted to pay homage to New York, and one of the biggest and most well-known jackets [in this city] is a Marmot jacket. It's a really crazy outdoor technical jacket, but it has a really beautiful shape.' The duo reinterpreted the piece with a double-breasted closure, giving it a surprisingly formal feel. 'It closes the same way that a tuxedo would,' says Rocky. The 2025 Met Gala co-chair paired the jacket with dressier pieces including a white cotton poplin shirt, a black wool trousers and a vest, exposed satin boxers, and a black wool necktie for a more traditional finish. Accessorising the look, meanwhile, were a pair of dressy oxfords that AWGE made in collaboration with Christian Louboutin, as well as jewelry pieces by Bulgari. Rocky launched AWGE in 2014, and showed the design agency's first full runway collection during Paris Fashion Week in June 2024. (In his May Vogue cover story, the rapper wears a sleek gray AWGE suit in a photo taken alongside his grandmother, Cathy.) Rocky says that helming his own brand has allowed him to experiment with his sense of style—though that is well-formed by now. 'This is my favorite style era of mine,' Rocky says of his dapper wardrobe today. 'Being a dad has definitely influenced my style today.' This year marks Rocky's fifth time attending the annual Met Gala. The rapper first attended the back in 2014, for the Charles James-themed exhibition. In more recent years, the star has attended alongside his partner Rihanna—and the duo has shut down every red carpet they've graced. As for how the power couple will celebrate this evening? Rocky has epic plans in mind—and he has the slick look to go with it. 'I plan on having a hell of a night, and enjoying myself,' he says. Article originally published on Vogue US
