Talking about the new entry on the show, Kapil Sharma said in a statement, 'We had promised that every year our family will grow, and I'm so excited to have Sidhu paaji part of the family along with Archana ji to enjoy all the chutkules, the shayaris and masti. The mahaul is set, so stay tuned because this season jokes aur laughter dono ho gayein hain triple!!!'
Navjot Singh Sidhu said in a statement, 'Coming to The Great Indian Kapil Show feels like I'm coming home again. It is a home run for me. We heard the voice of the people, so many fans and well-wishers who loved our interactions and wanted to see more. I'm delighted that Netflix has managed to bring this bouquet of beautiful people together, and we will bloom this season for audiences worldwide. A smile doesn't cost you a cent, but it is worth millions of dollars, and The Great Indian Kapil show is an instrument of god's goodwill to bring happiness to mankind – honoured to be part of it again.'
Sidhu's exit from the show took place in 2019 after the cricketer-politician took serious heat over his comments following the Pulwama terror attack. Sony — where Kapil's show was telecast at that time — sacked him and hired Archana Puran Singh to host the show. Ever since then, the show and its cast has jumped platforms and names but Archana has stayed on as the judge. She often takes hits from the show's cast for earning money for 'just laughing' but responds with grace. The same treatment, however, was never meted out to Sidhu.
The two judges on the show will make this season an interesting mix. The new season of the Great Indian Kapil Show starts streaming from 21st June, 2025.

The Great Indian Kapil Season 3 First Episode REVIEW: Laughs, Legends and Navjot Singh Sidhu's 'khatak' comeback
Name: The Great Indian Kapil Season 3 Cast: Kapil Sharma, Archana Puran Singh, Navjot Singh Sidhu, Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek and Kiku Sharda Rating: 3/5 Plot: The Great Indian Kapil Show is back with its third season, and the legacy of laughter continues! Kapil Sharma and his stellar team return to our screens with a fresh wave of gags and hilarity that promises to leave you in splits. Kap's Cafe makes a comeback and is set against the lively backdrop of an airport. It remains consistent, adding a nostalgic charm. Streaming on Netflix and reaching audiences across 192 countries, the premiere episode of Season 3 brings both familiarity and freshness. While the last two seasons delivered endless entertainment, something was notably missing, and it was 'khatak' shayaris. The gap is now filled with the grand return of Navjot Singh Sidhu to the third season. Reclaiming his iconic seat and showering the trademark shayaris, it is one of the biggest reasons to look forward to the episodes. What makes this season even more exciting is its interactive twist! In this third edition, audiences have a chance to appear on the show, but only those who have special talent or a knack for comedy. As we write in detail about the new season of The Great Indian Kapil Show, let's take a moment to appreciate Kapil Sharma's impressive transformation. His lean and fit physique didn't go unnoticed. Salman Khan, who is the first guest on The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 3, also praised the comedian. What Works for The Great Indian Kapil Season 3 Having Salman Khan as the first guest on The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 3 made the premiere truly special. His candid revelations about personal life, thoughts on relationships and divorces, and light-hearted jabs are unmissable. He candidly took a dig at Aamir Khan's marriages, which added a raw, unfiltered charm to the episode. Salman, being his authentic self, worked brilliantly and set a high bar for the season ahead. Welcoming Salman in the very first episode was nothing short of a masterstroke; he was one of the most awaited guests, and his presence was the perfect cherry on top. Another major highlight was the return of Navjot Singh Sidhu, whose infectious energy and signature shayaris brought back a long-lost flavour to the show. Adding to this, what truly stands out is fans having a chance to be on stage. In the first episode, Kapil introduced a talented painter, who created a portrait of Salman, using his tongue. This left all spellbound, and Salman too applauded his talent. It is indeed a smart move by the makers to make the audience feel involved. Watch The Great Indian Kapil Show first episode promo here- What doesn't work for The Great Indian Kapil Season 3 While Season 3 brings back the signature charm, certain elements feel a bit worn out. For instance, Kapil Sharma and Navjot Singh Sidhu teasing each other over their need for female attention seemed redundant. Kapil's digs at Archana Puran Singh felt overused. Despite its U/A 13+ certification, the episode includes adult humor from Kapil, Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek and even Salman Khan. Sunil's character, Buddhi, discussing her love life with Kapil, has dialogues that can make family audiences slightly uncomfortable. Once again, comedy is wrapped in suggestive humor, even though there is more scope for clean satire. Apart from this, the introduction of character artists mimicking Salman, Shah Rukh Khan and Ajay Devgn felt like a filler. While their talent was evident and even earned praise from Salman, their screen time felt slightly extended and unnecessary. More interaction segments or conversation with Salman could have been more impactful. Performances in The Great Indian Kapil Season 3 When it comes to performances, no one can beat the trio! Kiku Sharda, Krushna Abhishek and Sunil Grover shine once again, making the first episode a laugh riot. Their performances instantly light up the stage, making everyone smile. Krushna Abhishek's mimicry of Shah Rukh Khan is uproarious. While Kiku, who is playing a widow and mother of Krushna and Sunil's characters, delivers his brilliant act smoothly, winning hearts. But the show stealer, without a doubt, is Sunil Grover. Sunil's impersonation of Salman Khan right in front of him is hilarious. Grover's performance didn't let Khan hold his laughter back, and he can be seen in tears as he enjoys the act. And of course, Kapil remains in top form. His quick-witted punchlines and effortless hosting remind us why he is still the king of comedy. Final Verdict With a runtime of 1 hour 13 minutes and 17 seconds, The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 3's debut episode is just the right dose of entertainment you need on an indoor Saturday evening.

Fatima Sana Shaikh on casting couch and Me Too in Bollywood: 'It's not like the industry is bad, but lines do get blurred when you have become intimate'
Fatima Sana Shaikh, who is known for her roles in Dangal, Ludo, Thugs of Hindostan and Sam Bahadur, has once again spoken out about the prevalence of sexual misconduct and the casting couch in the entertainment industry. The actress recently shared her views on how things have evolved in the post-Me Too era, and how much further there still is to go. 'There's more accountability now' When asked about being one of the few in Bollywood to address the issue openly, Fatima acknowledged that the landscape has changed. 'I think things have changed. People are much more accountable. They are a little more fearful,' she said in an interview with Humans of Bombay. She noted that most film sets today have designated personnel or units in place to address sexual misconduct complaints before they escalate to police cases. She also pointed out that conversations around these issues are now taken more seriously. 'There is a conversation. There is an investigation... it exists in every industry,' Fatima added. 'The lines are sometimes blurred' Fatima offered a nuanced view of how misconduct can sometimes exist in grey areas, especially when power dynamics or blurred personal boundaries come into play. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Giao dịch CFD với công nghệ và tốc độ tốt hơn IC Markets Đăng ký Undo 'You are working with someone, you have become intimate. But then you don't understand, the lines are blurred. Then there is the dynamic of the power,' she explained. While advocating for thorough investigation before passing judgment, she also maintained that the benefit of the doubt is often, and rightly, given to women. 'Because it is a male-dominant industry. And now, after Me Too , women can talk about it... You will be held accountable.' 'I haven't faced this in Bollywood' Clarifying her own experience, Fatima stated that while she has spoken of uncomfortable situations in the past, particularly in her younger years, she has never directly faced sexual misconduct within the Bollywood ecosystem. 'It's not like the industry is bad. Any incident that has happened, it's just been this one little, small-time somebody and some conversation,' she said. She was quick to emphasize that issues like these are not exclusive to film sets. In fact, she pointed out that the problem is equally, if not more, severe in the corporate world. 'Corporate is life when you are together. So there, it's even more rampant... and even more toxic,' she said. Fatima Sana Shaikh recalls when she got epilepsy seizures in a flight: 'I'm lucky that I survived' 'Amazon and Netflix are very specific about Posh training' Fatima praised the preventive measures adopted by major platforms like Amazon and Netflix, revealing that every project backed by them includes mandatory PoSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) awareness sessions for cast and crew. 'Somebody will come from this agency… you will have a meeting with the cast, crew, and all the HODs. You will be told what your rights are, what is appropriate, what is not,' she explained. She added that most reputed production houses now conduct these sessions as standard practice, a move that she believes is a positive step toward safer work environments. 'People are being held accountable for their actions — not only in our industry, but in corporate and beyond. And that is what progress looks like,' she concluded.
