Chelsea are virtually on their holidays after a long season. Flamengo are midway through their season playing in a climate they enjoy. If the roles were reversed and the tournament was being played in favour of the European teams, then we'd see different results.Henry: After a good first half, we lost our way in the second half. Our opponents appeared to be more motivated and took their opportunities well. Perhaps it's a case of one tournament too many. Having already played a full season, the players need a rest.Ash: An inept, dreadful performance against a spirited Flamengo side who were made to look good by Chelsea's performance. Jackson needs a good long spell out of the team.

It was his second sending off in four appearances for the club and ended their hopes of fighting back. Wallace Yan wrapped up the scoring seven minutes from time. Manager Enzo Maresca partly put the defeat – and a subdued performance from key playmaker Cole Palmer in a wider role – down to experimentation ahead of next season. The Italian said: 'It's not just about Cole. In the last two days we tried something completely different. 'For the first time we played in a different structure, just to prepare also for next season, to have more options. 'I think the plan was quite good for one hour until we conceded the goal, but I think at the end they deserved to win the game. 'Flamengo are a very good team with good players, with a good manager. For a short moment, the pair grip each other before one plummeted to the ground after being hit once again. Stunned attendees at the racing event were left staring in horror, as a group of men attempt to separate the brawling pair. The group could briefly be heard telling the fighting men: 'Stop, stop, boys.' While one man, dressed in a grey suit, was dragged away, the other was picked up from the ground with blood gushing from his face.
