Chris Hughes kisses JoJo Siwa in very loved-up snap after 'confirming romance'

Daily Mirror01-06-2025

Celebrity Big Brother stars Chris Hughes and JoJo Siwa have their fans gripped by their budding romance as they shared a very cosy snap from the bedroom before removing it
Chris Hughes posted and swiftly deleted a steamy bedroom snap with JoJo Siwa as fans are convinced it is proof of their romance. The Love Island star, 32, has been getting cosy with JoJo, 22, as she spends time in the UK for her tour.
They have enjoyed meals out, bowling, time with family and have made sure to get plenty of moments alone. Chris and JoJo's bond has had fans hooked as they are yet to fully confirm the status of their relationship.

Since leaving Celebrity Big Brother, fans have looked for any clues they can to prove the pair are more than friends. It seems the duo are enjoying the attention around their relationship, as they have continued to post some very intimate photos from the bedroom.

In his latest post, Chris took a selfie as he kissed JoJo's forehead while tucked up in bed together. Dance Moms star JoJo snuggled into Chris' chest with her eyes closed as the reality star gushed: "Sleeping beauty."
The photo wasn't up on Chris' page for long as it was soon deleted. However, it was too late to hide any evidence as many fans were able to screenshot the photo and share it amongst each other.

Chris and JoJo still haven't commented on reports about their relationship turning up a notch, having previously said they were just platonic soulmates.
Fans are convinced that they have been dropping major hints that they are an item, with JoJo admitting she has 'never felt so special and so loved'.
Before JoJo returned to the UK, Chris flew out to Mexico to support the dancer at her show. He met her mum and manager Jessalynn and was even snapped sharing a kiss with JoJo while in a pool.

They have previously shared other snaps from the bedroom, as earlier in the week, Chris took to Snapchat to reveal that they were watching Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? together.
Just hours before the post, Chris had teased that he was cooking a meal for JoJo. He later shared a photo of a table with their meals, with a vase full of roses visible on the side of their bowls and a lit candle nearby.
This weekend, JoJo appeared on Channel 4 's Sunday Brunch where she revealed how Chris has slotted right into her family. JoJo said: 'She (Siwa's mother) does love him. My parents think the absolute world of him and him and my dad are like best friends.

'Chris was actually telling me that yesterday they went to the spa together. They're literally best friends. Mum, she absolutely adores him. I love watching her watch us because I've never seen my mum so happy."
She added: "It feels like we're a family. It feels like he's been in my family for however many years. It feels like they just all get along as well as I do."
Addressing how they plan to see each other despite the distance, JoJo said: 'I think there will definitely be a lot more time spent here, and I think from him as well, a lot more time spent over there, but we both have families, you know, on either end.'

Paige Turley and Stevie Jukes are looking forward to bringing all the gossip from the Pride of Scotland red carpet

Love Island star and Saint Phnx singer can't wait to broadcast live from our People's Oscars. LOVE Island's Paige Turley and Saint Phnx's Stevie Jukes are used to gracing the red carpet but both agree no other awards show will ever top Pride of Scotland. The bubbly pair, who are red carpet hosts at Monday night's glittering event, will chat to the inspirational winners and celebrity guests as they make their way into Glasgow's Hilton for this year's star-studded ceremony. ‌ Paige and Stevie say they can't wait to bring the nation all the gossip and style live from the red carpet which promises to be one of the most star-studded yet. ‌ It's the first time Stevie, 40, who formed chart toppers Saint Phnx with brother Alan, 37, in 2016, has been on the other side of the mic but says he is suited and booted and raring to go. The dad-of-two, from Wishaw, North Lanarkshire, said: 'I'm buzzing about Monday night and have had my velvet jacket, shiny shoes and dickie bow looked out for weeks. 'My brother has been ribbing me about it and keeps saying things like 'Here comes big red carpet Steve.' He thinks he is hilarious but just wait until it's his turn to be interviewed! 'It's the first time I have ever done anything like this but I would love to work in radio so this will be good practice as I will have to think on my feet. 'You would think I would be nervous but I'm not. For the past year Alan and I have been doing workshops in schools and trying to sing on a Monday morning in a gold gym hall in front o0 kids pretty much prepares you for anything.' ‌ Stevie, whose new single 'Arabella' - a collaboration with singer Nathan Evans - is out next week, added: 'I'm really looking forward to working with Paige. We met at the Pride of Scotland awards a few years ago when Saint Phnx were performing and we hit it off right away. 'I've been given a sneak peak at all the winners and I can't wait to meet them on the red carpet and put a face to their names. 'The only thing I am a wee bit worried about is recognising the celebrities but I'll just give Paige a wee nudge and hopefully she will tell me who they are.' ‌ This is Paige's fourth year as red carpet host and the singer from Fauldhouse, West Lothian, is looking forward to teaming up with Stevie and being the ying to his yang. The 27-year-old, who co-hosted last year with Love Island's Laura Anderson, said: 'I'm excited about hosting with Stevie as he is a really lovely guy and hopefully we will compliment each other. 'I'm all about the style and fashion and he can talk to folk about other things. Our job is to put everyone at their ease because the red carpet can be a daunting place, especially for the winners. ‌ 'It's my absolutely favourite night of the year as the awards shine a light on people who have been doing so much for others but never seek any recognition.' Paige, who has been travelling all over Scotland with the Big Shiny Disco Brunch Crew, added: 'I'm bringing my dad with me again this year as he absolutely loves it. 'Two years ago he was carrying my handbag for me and his hero Graeme Souness came across to him and said 'Like your bag big man.' He was stoked. ‌ 'I'm also bringing my boyfriend Kieran with me. It will be his first time on a red carpet in Scotland and I know he is going to love it as much as I do.' From acts of kindness and selfless bravery to raising millions for charity, it's no wonder the Daily Record Pride of Scotland Awards with P&O Cruises is the People's Oscars. The combination of big hearts and big stars have made our annual awards, which began in 2020 and will once again be compared by Elaine C Smith and Sanjeev Kohli, a runaway success. ‌ Although Stevie, who is dad to Jacob, 18 and Charlie, nine, has never presented at the awards before he has performed twice and knows just how emotional the night can be. He says he will never forget meeting Child of Courage Zac Gunn, who sadly passed away earlier this month after receiving a long-awaited lung transplant. Stevie, whose single Happy Place - written after losing his dad to pulmonary fibrosis - topped the Scottish charts in 2021, said: 'That wee boy's cheeky smile will stay with me forever. He was such a funny wee guy and he had an aura which lit up the room. ‌ 'My wife is a neonatal midwife at Wishaw General and looked after Zac when he was born. We were both devastated when he passed away. 'We met him when he won his award and we have kept in touch with the family ever since. Like Zac, so many of the Pride of Scotland winners end up leaving a massive impression on your heart.' ‌ He added: 'Last year it was Lochlan Murdoch whose story really impressed me. The teenager has Type 1 diabetes and set up a charity to help educate sports teams and clubs about the condition. 'He's just a wee guy who has taken a difficult scenario in his life and done something positive about it to help others which I find really inspiring.' Paige, who won season six of Love Island with ex Finley Tapp, admits she will be stocking up on paper hankies before Monday as she always has a good greet. ‌ The singer, who is also a Pride of Scotland judge, said: 'I was blubbing in the judging room and I haven't even met the winners yet. 'So many of the unsung heroes have made a lasting impression on me. People like the beautiful little Mila Sneddon who battled leukaemia and won the heart of the Princess of Wales during lockdown. 'I also love the pure Scottishness of the winners. Where else in the world would you meet a granny who tackled a burglar and a wee pony wearing a kilt?' ‌ Stevie, who is working on a Collaboration album with Nathan Evans and is just back from a joint European tour, recalls the moment he met his hero Rangers goalie Allan McGregor. He said: 'As everyone knows Alan and I are massive Rangers fans. We met Greegsy at the awards a couple of years ago and ended up having a few drinks with him in the bar afterwards. 'My brother ended up getting Allan to take invisible penalties at him. We ended up becoming friends with him and he invited us into the box at his testimonial. ‌ 'We've been out with him a few times now he has publicly admitted Saint Phnx are his favourite band. I've gone to heaven with that one.' He added: 'Pride has become a very special part of my life and I am honoured to have been asked to be a part of it again this year. There's just something magical about the awards and I can't wait to pull on my suit and go red carpet live.' We launched our search for our local heroes of 2025 back in January and were inundated with thousands of nominations from across the nation. ‌ Categories include the Emergency Services Award, Teenager of Courage, Young Fundraiser, Outstanding Bravery, the King's Trust Young Achiever, Special Recognition and the P&O Cruises Inspiration Award. Stars who will be honouring the winners include Sheli McCoy aka Gladiator Sabre, singer Susan Boyle, Star Wars actor Denis Lawson, Braveheart star James Cosmo, singers Nathan Evans, Calum Bowie and Cammy Barnes and Strictly's JJ Chalmers and Dr Punam Krishan. ‌ Love Island's Laura Anderson will be manning the Pride of Scotland bar, First Minister John Swinney will be there to celebrate the best of Scotland and there will be a performance from Britain's Got Talent finalist Vinnie McKee.

Love Island UK winner says she thinks US reality TV shows do better

Over the years we've seen Love Island change from savage showdowns and shady one liners to a more polished PR-safe version and one Love Island champ isn't happy with the change Amber Gill has slammed 'overly sensitive' UK reality TV viewers. Former Love Island winner Amber Rose Gill has hit out at the current state of UK reality TV, claiming it's become too 'soft' and over-policed by viewers who get offended over everything. In a fiery social media rant, the 2019 champ said the reason reality telly is 'dead' is because people can't say anything without backlash - calling out recent outrage over a Love Island contestant saying another girl was 'too glamorous for a 9-5'. ‌ Amber fumed: 'I've just seen articles about a girl saying someone's too glamorous for a 9-5 and everyone's like, 'You can't say that!' I need everyone to get several grips.' ‌ She continued: 'No wonder they come f**ing media trained, because God forbid you say anything out of line. I remember some of the s*** I said and trust me, I say worse in private!' Amber, who famously clashed with islanders like Michael Griffiths and stirred up strong opinions during her time on the show, has always been known for her sharp tongue and unfiltered opinions. She's not just shouting into the void either - Amber's living proof. During her season, she famously clashed with Michael Griffiths after he pied her off in Casa Amor, branding his backtracking 'childish' and holding nothing back. Viewers were glued to every word. And when Joanna Chimonides walked back into the villa, Amber didn't sugar-coat a thing calling her a 'dead ting' on national telly. But while her straight-talking ways earned her backlash with some calling her a 'bully' - the public still crowned her the winner. In fact, she was caught in the middle of one of the show's biggest ever blow-ups, when bestie Anna Vakili erupted at Jordan Hames in scenes that producers later called one of the loudest in Love Island history. For Amber, those raw, messy moments were what made the show real and she reckons that kind of telly just wouldn't happen today. 'You don't want to know what goes on in my head. If you think that's bad… I need everyone to collectively get a grip and just enjoy it for entertainment value,' she added. Amber's comments come amid a growing debate about the sanitisation of reality shows and how newer contestants are afraid to truly speak their mind for fear of being 'cancelled'.

Olivia Bowen shows off her growing baby bump as she shares candid insight into final weeks of her pregnancy - ahead of welcoming daughter with husband Alex

Pregnant Olivia Bowen showed off her blossoming bump on Friday, just weeks ahead of welcoming her baby daughter. The Love Island star, 31, already shares son Abel, two, with husband Alex who she famously met in the ITV2 villa, took to her Instagram with a radiant selfie. Olivia displayed her bump in a casual bralette and joggers as she shared candid insight into her final weeks of pregnancy. She captioned the snap: 'She's so high now right up in my lungs'. Last month Olivia posted a sweet clip from her family of three as they enjoyed their last holiday before the birth. It looked like a truly relaxing trip, with the trio appearing to be spending the majority of their time at the beach. Oivia wrote: 'Another trip to Spain - the last one before baby girl comes, and next we'll return as a family of four to our own villa out here - never felt so lucky.' The stunner wore a colourful bikini for the beach trip, accessorising with a pair of dark sunglasses while her husband and son wore beige swimming trunks. In another snap with Alex, Olivia showed off more of her extensive summer wear collection, this time wearing a blue bralet that comfortably sat above her growing bump. The star kept it cool on the trip too, covering up with a black and white mesh sundress as she cuddled Alex and Abel on a lounger. Olivia announced that she was expecting in February of this year and has been keeping fans updated with her pregnancy. Sadly, it has not been smooth sailing for the family as Olivia was expecting twins, but sadly lost one of her babies eight weeks into her pregnancy. She made the revelation on Loose Women, where she recounted their tragic experience of vanishing twin syndrome. The couple were told they were having twins just before Christmas, when they attended an early six week scan. Olivia told the panel: 'We went super early, I'm quite an anxious person anyway. When we turned up, we had our friend in the back of the car because we thought everything would be normal. 'As soon as we sat down I saw two babies and not one, I was floored by that. I have twins in my family and as soon as we found out I was already nervous as we've not had a great history of twins in our family.' The Love Island star broke down in tears as she revealed: 'One of the babies just basically didn't have a heartbeat but I'd had no symptoms, no pain, no bleeding to tell me that was what we were walking into. We were floored, we were expecting to have these two little babies.' The star had experienced vanishing twin syndrome, which occurs when one twin passes away in the womb and 'vanishes' and studies suggest happens in roughly 36% of twin pregnancies. Olivia heartbreakingly revealed that 'the one beautiful part of it' is that the babies do 'absorb back into your body' and that's what the couple have been 'holding onto'. The reality star continued: 'The baby had completely absorbed into my body at 14 weeks, just completely gone which is tremendously sad knowing they're still in there. 'I am so lucky to have experienced that moment of possibly having twins, it's something that not everyone gets to feel so even having those two little babies at that time.' Alex then emotionally chimed in with: 'I built this scenario up in my mind, I was thinking of the future. 'I thought it was 100% happening and I had come to terms with it. I never really had a big family, I'm an only child and have no contact with my dad so it was an amazing thing for me.'
