A video showing the moment a blind dog struggled to find his ball, only for his sister to step in and help him, has melted hearts online.
Bear the mastiff and Staffordshire bull terrier mix simply loves playing fetch and chasing after his toys outside. That can prove challenging, however, as Bear is completely blind and sometimes struggles to locate the objects.
Thankfully, his protective canine sister, named Peach, is more than happy to step in and be his eyes. Their owner, Paige Parker, 30, told Newsweek that Peach "often helps Bear if he's struggling" to find his toys or find his way back during a walk.
On this occasion, Peach walked outside to where Bear was and stood near his ball until he was able to sniff it out.
"I threw the ball for Bear, and, because it was a windy day with an overload of smells, he struggled to find it," Parker, of Adelaide, Australia, said. "Bear looked for a couple minutes before running up to Peach, who was sitting on the couch outside. She instantly knew what he wanted because she had been watching him."

Parker captured the adorable moment and shared it on TikTok (@thelifeofphilly), and it melted plenty of hearts. In just a matter of days, the video has generated over 263,000 views and more than 41,500 likes at the time of writing.
Bear's blindness is caused by complications his mom suffered during pregnancy. She had to have a Caesarean, and out of her eight puppies, Bear was the only one who survived. After he started nursing, it became clear that his mom had an infection, which passed down to Bear, affecting his eyes.
"His eyes started to bulge when he was still at the rescue, so they fundraised to get them removed when he was a pup," Parker said.
She adopted Bear from the rescue Hear No Evil when he was 5 months old, while Peach is also a rescue who came from Life of Pikelet.
Bear has learned to use his sense of smell to guide him, whether that is to find Peach, his toys, or his bed. Parker said that he has developed a map of their home in his mind by using smell, memory, and the change in floors to help him navigate.
They two dogs have developed an extraordinary bond that enables Peach to know exactly what Bear needs, and it allows him to rely on his sister whenever he is stuck.
Parker said: "Sometimes, Bear can get stressed if he smells something unusual, and Peach will go up to him and nudge him so he calms down instantly. We walk them both off lead, and if it's windy and he's struggling to hear us, she will run up to him and they walk back together.
"They bonded instantly, and it felt like he had always been part of our family. They have never had a fight, and we love seeing them together cuddling, playing, and hanging out," the dogs' owner added.
After sharing the video of Peach helping Bear find his ball, Parker has been blown away by supportive response online. She said she hopes it will encourage more people to consider adopting a blind or deaf dog, telling Newsweek that they aren't nearly as difficult to care for as people might think, and they can still live such fulfilling lives.
The viral TikTok video has amassed over 1,000 comments already, as many social-media users praised the adorable bond that Peach and Bear have.
One comment reads: "I was so sad for him until his beautiful sister came to the rescue. Oh my heart!"
Another TikTok user wrote: "too cute to have a guide from his big sister."
A third commenter added: "This is the most precious thing ever."

With their new album ‘I quit,' Haim ushers in their next era of music — and life: ‘Now it's time to party'
Leave it to Este, Danielle and Alana Haim to maintain consistency. In true Haim fashion, the trio of sisters has continued their tradition of serving up an immaculate and aptly timed summer vibe with their latest LP, I quit. Released on Friday, the 15-track album shows a shift in perspective for sisters Este, Danielle and Alana, who exude a sort of declarative self-assuredness that only comes from making mistakes and learning from them. With textured acoustics, throwback-sounding pop and straight up rock 'n' roll, I quit is a breakup album that defies genres and audience expectations, while still maintaining Haim's signature laidback, sun-dazed cool. The album captures women at their most emotional, conflicted and self-indulgent. Navigating life and love can be "unpretty." Haim gets that. 'We never wanted [the title] to be a negative,' Alana told GQ in its July cover story. 'When we say 'I quit,' it's like, 'I quit the things that don't serve me.' And it's really amazing, 'cause quitting is a new beginning.' Keeping to their casting of beloved 'white boys of the month,' as some fans have put it, Will Poulter is the first 'it' boy to be featured in the artwork for one of the album's singles. The 'All over me' cover art depicts Danielle and Poulter in a fitting recreation of a paparazzi photo taken of Gwyneth Paltrow and then-boyfriend Brad Pitt in 1995, in which Paltrow is awkwardly leaning against Pitt on a New York City sidewalk. The Bear actor also plays Danielle's leading man in the accompanying music video, which sees the Haim sisters — and their men — lusting after each other. But Poulter isn't the only male celebrity featured in the three-minute clip — the band also tapped Saltburn actor Archie Madekwe and Station Eleven actor Nabhaan Rizwan as love interests for Este and Alana. Fans were first given a taste of Haim's I quit era in March 2025, when the band teased the release of their breezy, post-breakup single 'Relationships' with a photo that bore an uncanny resemblance to one taken of Nicole Kidman in 2001. The heavily memed photo depicts the actress triumphantly skipping down an L.A. street with her eyes closed, mouth agape and arms in the air. The Haim sisters, in their re-creation, are also seen walking down a nondescript street in Los Angeles with the same looks of elation. When 'Relationships' finally hit streaming platforms on March 12, its accompanying music video was released on YouTube. The video, much like the cover art, did not disappoint. The trio enlisted help from one of the internet's most coveted boyfriends, Drew Starkey, who plays Danielle's love interest. The video begins with Danielle and her sisters loading boxes into a car, presumably following her breakup with Starkey. The footage rewinds as the song continues, and we watch as several moments in their relationship play out. Cut between the sometimes steamy scenes between Danielle and Starkey are vibey shots of the sisters lounging on a bedroom floor or velvet sofa. From there, a formula was established. Shot by photographer Terrence O'Connor, the artwork for Haim's next three singles were also re-creations of niche paparazzi photos from the "noughties": Kate Moss soaking up the sun against an SUV in 2000 ('Everybody's trying to figure me out'), a PDA-fueled moment between Jared Leto and Scarlett Johansson in 2004 ('Down to be wrong'), and Keira Knightley and ex-boyfriend Jamie Dornan strolling arm in arm, also in 2004 ('Take me back'). For the 'Down to be wrong' music video, Haim found their leading man in yet another internet boyfriend: Logan Lerman. The video opens with Danielle in a hotel bed with the Oh Hi! actor, singing to him as he sleeps. When Lerman finally wakes up and wanders out of the hotel room, the sisters, seemingly invisible, go through his belongings and mess up the hotel room. He can't seem to understand why any of this is happening though. Less than two weeks before the album's release, the sisters played a set at Barcelona's Primavera Sound festival, where they debuted their new tour looks designed by Nicolas Ghesquière for Louis Vuitton. Their Barcelona performance came two months after they ushered in the I quit era with two hometown shows in L.A. Next up for Este, Danielle and Alana is the Margate Summer Series in the United Kingdom on June 27 before kicking off the U.S. leg of their tour in September. In ridding themselves of things that don't serve them, the sisters see I quit as a celebration of sorts — the ultimate party. 'All of our songs are about our collective trauma and going through it,' Alana told GQ. 'A lot of our last album [Women in Music Pt. III] was us grappling with going to therapy for the first time and these emotions that had been bottled up for so many years, and I think with this album, we've done the work on ourselves, and now it's time to party.' The album's artwork, as with its title, evokes a similar sense of simplicity. The photograph, with its colder, bluish appearance, was shot by acclaimed filmmaker and Haim family friend Paul Thomas Anderson. Alana found the LED sign, Danielle purchased a bunch of dresses from an L.A. thrift store, and Este secured the filming location. With Anderson's busy schedule, they had only one day to pull it all together — and it worked. 'We were so nostalgic making this record,' Este told Kesha on Spotify's Countdown To vodcast. 'Being able to do that together as sisters, and go out together again — it also felt like it was when we were kids.'

Lizzo Reacts to Performance of ‘About Damn Time' at President Trump's Military Parade
When Lizzo sang, 'Turn up the music, let's celebrate,' Donald Trump's widely protested military birthday parade was not what she had in mind. After video of a performer singing Lizzo's Billboard Hot 100-topping hit 'About Damn Time' at the event in Washington, D.C., on Saturday (June 14) surfaced online, the hitmaker made her feelings quite clear in a TikTok posted over the weekend. Stitching the clip with a few seconds of footage of the parade singer's breathless live rendition of the self-love anthem — performed in front of a gathering on the National Mall — Lizzo then cuts to a shot of herself staring pointedly at the camera, looking perplexed and disgusted. More from Billboard Tyler, the Creator, Finneas, Kehlani & More React to Los Angeles Protests Against ICE Addison Rae Announces Dates For Debut 2025 Headlining World Tour How Brandon Lake Is Leading A Whole New Flock To 'What's Real And What's True' In Christian Music 'cease & desist,' she wrote in the caption. It's unclear which performer is singing 'About Damn Time' in the video Lizzo shared, but according to USA Today, the parade stage's lineup included DJ Nyla Symone, Lee Greenwood, Scotty Hasting, Noah Hicks and Warren Zeiders. The choice to cover the Grammy-winning hit at Trump's procession was certainly an interesting one, though, as Lizzo — who endorsed Kamala Harris in the 2024 election — has made her disapproval of the twice-impeached POTUS very clear over the years. She's not the only one. While Trump was celebrating the U.S. Army's 250th birthday — as well as his own 79th birthday, which was also Saturday — through a grand show of military might in D.C., a slew of 'No Kings' gatherings broke out across the country in protest of his administration. Those overlapped with the ongoing protests in Los Angeles against the country's Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency, which recently launched raids into multiple workplaces across the city in the name of alleged immigration violations. Lizzo also posted several times about the ICE raids on Bluesky a few days prior to her TikTok about the military parade. 'The irony of an ice agent forcing a Mexican person off of their ancestral land when that agent's ancestors are European immigrants is just…,' she wrote in one post, adding in another: 'And still … there are people who voted for this who are going to sleep with a smile on their faces pleased as pie … It's a wild world y'all.'
