Hugh Bonneville's Robert, the Earl of Grantham, has appeared to kiss his country estate goodbye in the trailer for Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale.
The movie is promoted as bidding "farewell" to the Yorkshire-set series about the life of the landed gentry and their servants that began with a TV show before a series of films.
It sees the return of Bonneville; Michelle Dockery as Lady Mary; Elizabeth McGovern as Cora Crawley, Countess of Grantham; Laura Carmichael as Lady Edith; Jim Carter as the butler Charles 'Charlie' Carson; and Joanne Froggatt as Anna Bates.
The teaser begins with the family attending an opulent day at the races, and Mr Carson as an announcer saying: "Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to 1930."
The following clips show London theatrical productions, Dominic West as Guy Dexter and Lady Edith telling Lady Mary that she will be a "sensation".
The family then return to Downton Abbey, where a painting of Dame Maggie Smith's Violet Crawley, Dowager Countess of Grantham, who died in the 2022 film Downton Abbey: A New Era, is shown along with dances and the staff.

Last year, Oscar-winning actress Dame Maggie died in September at the age of 89, with Bonneville remembering her at the time as a "true legend of her generation".
The trailer shows the words: "It's almost time to bid farewell" before ending with the family and staff all waiting outside the grand estate, while the Earl presses his finger to his lips and then places them on the wall.
Starting as a series in 2010, the programme won a number of awards, including 15 Emmys, with three of them going to Dame Maggie for outstanding supporting actress in a drama series.

The series, the final of which aired on TV on Christmas Day in 2015, has also won a special TV Bafta award and earned Dame Maggie a nod.
Released in 2019, the first film in the trilogy depicted a royal visit to the Crawley family and Downton staff, while the second film, Downton Abbey: A New Era, saw them travel to France after Violet inherited a villa.
Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale will release in cinemas on September 12.

Hull's banana history featured in exhibition
These days, Humber Street in Hull is lined with coffee shops, galleries and bars, as the area continues to evolve into a leisure destination following a plan to regenerate the area in from the 16th Century, the cobbled street was home to a vibrant market and, after World War Two, it was thought to be the third largest fruit market in the UK, importing produce from all over the an interactive exhibition, called Bananarchy at Humber Street Gallery, hopes to highlight the area's rich history, as well as giving visitors a reason to smile. On the first floor, the exhibition features a maze made up of 1,560 banana boxes which artist Pippa Hale, 53, said was a nod to the purpose of the building in the 1950s. "This used to be a banana ripening room", she said. "It belonged to TJ Pupparts and was built on a bombed out site around 1956." Downstairs, you can dress up in a variety of banana-based Hale said: "They're all connected to nicknames that people in the trade used to go by. If you didn't have a nickname, you were no one."She said the street echoed to the sound of shouting and barrows. People would have spats but they all ended each day as friends again. Pamela Howes' father, George Noble, used to work in the building opposite at 14-15 Humber Street, part of which is now home to Mousey Brown's hair salon. Ms Howes, 70, said she loved coming down to the street on a Saturday as a five-year-old. "We got given apples and melons by all the traders and we used to feed all the cats - although we shouldn't have done because they were all wild," she Howes said Mr Noble started on the street as a barrow boy, knocking on every door until he finally got a job in 1931 at AW Kirebye's, owned by a Danish company. She said: "Eventually he became junior salesman then managing director, before the company was sold to Fyffes."She said the street was full of "nice memories"."We'd go round the other side of the building and watch the bananas come down. "And, on about three occasions, my dad found tarantulas in the bananas. Then you had to call up a person who would come and take them Hale added: "What I like about this street now is that so much has been preserved and restored."The exhibition runs until Sunday 21 September. Yorkshire teens win in BAFTA Young Game Designer Competition
Two teenagers from Yorkshire have scooped prizes at a national competition for young video game designers.13-year-old Thiago, from Sheffield, and 14-year-old Tanisi, from Leeds, were crowned winners in the BAFTA Young Game Designer were selected from 52 finalists aged between 10 and 18, who each created a game or a game work will be showcased at the Power Up video game exhibition in London, Manchester, and Bradford, as well as at a BAFTA showcase event. Thiago won in the age 10-14 Game Making Award created a game called Sir Floofington, where the player controls a knight who wields a broom whilst hunting for the Golden said he had been inspired by other dungeon crawlers where the player fights enemies and hunts for treasure, but had wanted to put his own spin on added he had also been inspired by his dad, who is a game producer."I've always wanted to get the ideas that I have in my head out into code, that way other people can enjoy them as much as I do," he said."I might see a game on YouTube and think it's great, then have a long train of thought about how I can make it better and different."He said it feels "really, really wonderful" to have won."I've seen everyone else's games and they're really good, so I feel really humbled." Tanisi won in the age 10-14 Game Concept Award category, for her idea for a psychological horror The Undead, the game which would let the player control a character trying to find their missing family in a post-apocalyptic world filled with said she "loves storytelling", but had not written a story for a video game before said she was "so grateful" that someone else had seen the vision she had been trying to convey in her proposal."I didn't know if it was going to be seen in the way I saw it," she said. Inel Tomlinson, host of the competition's online prize ceremony, said: "It's refreshing to see such real, thought provoking, human ideas from these young game designers, and I'm truly excited to see what they'll create in the future."Judge and game producer Dan Ayoub said: "As someone who's been making games for many years, this experience left me deeply inspired—and incredibly optimistic about the future of our industry.""It was an absolute honour to serve on the judging panel, and beyond the joy of working alongside brilliant developers, I was genuinely humbled by the level of talent, creativity, and ambition these young creators brought."
