11 Celebrity Outfits You Totally Forgot Existed

Buzz Feed4 days ago

Let's take a fashionable (and sometimes questionable) stroll down memory lane. From red carpet chaos to iconic street style, these celebrity looks happened, and you probably haven't thought about them since 2007. (Sheesh, we are old now.) You're welcome.
Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake in denim head to toe! (2001)
Truly the Romeo and Juliet of Y2K fashion. Denim on denim on... You guessed it, more denim! And a cowboy hat. Nothing says denim like a good ol' YEE-HAW. The early 2000s were truly undefeated.
Lady Gaga's meat dress (2010 MTV VMAs)
Yes, it was raw. Yes, it was real. Yes, it made literally everyone uncomfortable. Fashion? Art? A trip to the butcher? All of the above.
Rihanna's yellow Met Gala dress that took up a city block (2015)
This dress had its own gravitational pull. Rihanna didn't just show up — she owned the entire Met, and also possibly the street outside.
Katy Perry's Moschino chandelier dress (2019 Met Gala)
Honestly, it lit up — what more do you need? If the lights went out, she was there to save the night. She was literally the light of the party. Bonus: she changed into a burger later. Icon.
Shia LaBeouf in a paper bag saying "I Am Not Famous Anymore" (2014)
Performance art or midlife crisis? Either way, it was a moment none of us asked for but will never forget.
Lil' Kim's one-boob-out look (1999 VMAs)
This outfit launched a thousand jaw drops. Only Lil' Kim could turn this into a fashion moment—left boob, rightfully famous. Left Shark took some notes on how to be relevant.
Zendaya's Joan of Arc look (2018 Met Gala)
She looked like she walked straight out of a medieval runway show, and honestly, I'm still not over it—Joan of Slay, tbh.
Doja Cat dressed as a literal cat (2023 Met Gala)
She meowed in interviews. She committed to the bit. This wasn't cosplay — it was a catwalk in every sense. Here, kitty, kitty.
CeeLo Green at the 2017 Grammys dressed like a gold Power Ranger
Nobody knows why. Nobody asked. And yet, it lives rent-free in our minds. He looked like he was about to drop an album and conquer the galaxy. Honestly, I thought he'd be the green Power Ranger...
Miley Cyrus in a barely-there latex two-piece (2015 VMAs)
Somewhere between alien and space cowgirl, this look proved that pants were so 2014. She's got confidence, baby.
Post Malone in a pink nude suit covered in fringe (2019)
Fringe, rhinestones, and chaotic energy. If Dolly Parton and a bottle of Bud Light had a fashion baby, it'd be this.

Shakira's Tour Cancellations Are Helping Her On The Charts

Despite several show cancellations, Shakira enjoys a Billboard boost as Donde Estan Los Ladrones and ... More Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran return to the charts. NEW YORK, NEW YORK - MAY 05: Shakira attends the 2025 Met Gala Celebrating "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style" at Metropolitan Museum of Art on May 05, 2025 in New York City. (Photo byfor The Met Museum/Vogue) Shakira is currently traveling across America, performing dates on the U.S. leg of her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour. The Latin superstar has been in the news lately after several shows on the trek were canceled, disappointing fans in cities like Boston and Washington, D.C. It's never good for a major artist to pull out of scheduled performances — especially at the last minute — as it impacts thousands of people. Shakira does appear to be the beneficiary of an unintended consequence stemming from her unfortunate moves. Two of Shakira's projects return to the Billboard charts this week. While the tour alone might have been enough to keep her on several rankings, the fact that multiple efforts reappear simultaneously on various lists suggests the headline-grabbing cancellations may have driven listeners back to some of her full-lengths, likely via streaming platforms like Spotify. Two Shakira Albums Return Donde Estan Los Ladrones marks Shakira's highest-ranking return this week, as it reenters the Top Latin Pop Albums chart at No. 25. Over on the Top Latin Albums list, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran reappears at No. 36. Four Shakira Projects Chart in America There are four different Shakira projects that appear on at least one Billboard tally in America this week. Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran also climbs from No. 6 to the runner-up spot on the Top Latin Pop Albums roster, nearly laying claim to the top spot once more. Shakira fills four spots on the Top Latin Pop Albums chart this frame. In addition to Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran almost reaching No. 1 and Donde Estan Los Ladrones returning, Sala El Sol and El Dorado hold steady at Nos. 9 and 11, respectively.

Miley Cyrus's New Album Suffers A Terrible Second Week On The Charts

Miley Cyrus's Something Beautiful drops from No. 4 to No. 102 on the Billboard 200 in its second ... More week, with massive declines in sales and streams. NEW YORK, NEW YORK - MAY 05: Miley Cyrus attends the 2025 Met Gala Celebrating "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style" at Metropolitan Museum of Art on May 05, 2025 in New York City. (Photo by) Miley Cyrus debuted her new album Something Beautiful across a variety of Billboard rankings last week, and the highly-anticipated set opened inside the top 10 on most tallies. Just days later, the title has vanished from a number of lists and dropped precipitously on the most important albums chart in the United States, suggesting that beyond her super fans, there isn't yet a sustained interest in the pop superstar's latest release. Something Beautiful Drops Almost 100 Spots Something Beautiful launched at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 last week, earning Cyrus another career top 10. In its second frame on the ranking of the most consumed full-lengths and EPs in America, it descends nearly 100 spaces, dropping to No. 102. The collection initially arrived with 44,300 equivalent units. In its second frame of availability, it shifted just 12,000 (per Luminate) — marking a 73% decline in terms of total consumption from one frame to the next. Miley Cyrus's New Album Declines 84% in Sales The project experiences a much softer decline in terms of position on the Top Album Sales chart. Something Beautiful debuted in the runner-up space on Billboard's list of the bestselling titles in the country with 27,000 purchases. This time around, it drops to No. 18, selling another 4,300 copies. That's a decline of 84%, but that kind of a change isn't entirely shocking. Purchases of an album are usually at their most impressive during the title's first frame of availability, and even some long-running successes experience drastic dips in pure purchases. Backtracking on the Billboard 200 — which also includes streaming activity — suggests that many people not only stopped buying Something Beautiful, but also stopped streaming the title after only a few days. Miley Cyrus Vanishes from the Hot 100 Cyrus is nowhere to be found on several other Billboard tallies where she appeared just a few days ago. Something Beautiful has completely vacated both the Vinyl Albums and Top Streaming Albums charts. She also no longer appears on the Hot 100 with any tracks from Something Beautiful. "Easy Lover" debuted last frame at No. 82, but neither that tune nor the lead single "End of the World" — which peaked at No. 52 — can be found at the moment.
