A VAN linked to a crony of Mark Richardson was torched last night in the latest attack in the gang war raging across Scotland.
The motor is owned by a firm linked to Paddy Beatson, a well-known ally of the caged cocaine kingpin.

The charred wreckage of the company vehicle was left parked on the street after the attack outside a separate home on Peacocktail Close in Edinburgh.
Beatson has previously been targeted in alleged attacks around the underworld feud.
As the war first started raging, three gunshots were allegedly fired into his home in Niddrie in March, as a Dubai-based Mr Big started targeting people linked to Richardson.
We previously revealed how the gangsters waging war on Richardson and his allies in the feared Daniel crime clan in Glasgow had hired a hitman hunt down their enemies in Richardson's crew, with Beatson reportedly lying low in the capital.
The Dubai-based gangster, a former Union Bears ultra known as 'Miami', has been waging war on the underworld groups after claims Richardson's crew used fake cash in a £500k cocaine deal.
The violence has spiralled into a shocking series of alleged attacks where homes have been shot at, smashed up and firebombed.
A mysterious group known as Tamo Junto, or TMJ2025, has been targeting the homes linked to the Daniel family, and have even threatened to 'exterminate' the feared Glasgow crime clan.
So far dozens of people, including teenagers, have been arrested, charged and appeared in court for their alleged roles in the gang violence sweeping Scotland's streets.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: 'About 7.05pm on Friday, 16 May, 2025, we were called to a report of a van on fire in Peacocktail Close, Edinburgh.
'Emergency services attended and the fire was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.

"There were no reports of injuries.
'The fire is being treated as wilful and enquiries are ongoing.'

Virginia woman arrested in connection with Netflix star's fatal hit and run
A Virginia woman was arraigned in court Saturday in connection with a hit and run in the Hamptons that left New York City-based luxury real estate agent and former Netflix star Sara Burack dead. Southampton Town Police said in a statement Friday they arrested Amanda Kempton, 32, of Virginia, and that she was charged with leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident in which a fatality occurred. Burack, who starred in the Netflix series 'Million Dollar Beach House,' was killed in the apparent hit and run on Thursday, police said. She was 40. Police confirmed in a phone call that Kempton pleaded not guilty and was released on bail. Her attorney could not immediately be reached for comment. Burack worked for the luxury real estate firm Nest Seekers International for more than a decade, according to her LinkedIn profile. The company has not responded to a request for comment. The 40-year-old agent was best known for starring in the reality television series, which ran for a single season in 2020. 'Million Dollar Beach House' centered on the lives of several real estate agents, including Burack, who competed for listings of opulent homes in the Hamptons. Netflix did not return a request for comment on Burack's death. Police found Burack unresponsive on Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays early Thursday morning after receiving a 911 call about a woman lying unconscious on the busy road. Speed boat driver is arrested after glamorous Miami woman, 28, was killed after he crashed
A speedboat driver was arrested months after a glamorous woman was ejected from his boat and died in Florida. Reinaldo Aquit, 48, of Miami Beach, was arrested on Friday for the death of Stephanie Rodriguez, 28, of Hialeah, who died in November after being ejected from his 39-foot boat following a sharp turn. Aquit was operating the boat recklessly and took a sharp turn, causing the boat to roll over, ejecting six of the passengers on his voyage between Miami and Key West. Rodriguez was the only passenger to die in the incident. The others were collected by a Good Samaritan who stopped to help. They were taken to the hospital. 'The tragic death of this young woman was completely avoidable,' Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) Major Alberto Maza told NBC Miami in a statement. 'We continue to think of Ms. Rodriguez's friends and family as they grieve her loss.' Aquit was booked into the Monroe County Sheriff's Office jail and was charged with felony vessel homicide, and eight misdemeanors. He is being held on a $500,000 bond. Rodriguez was the youngest of four and had three older brothers. Her brothers remember her as being a giving person, who loved to travel and was full of life. 'She lit up any room she went into,' her brother, Ricky Rodriguez, emotionally told NBC Miami. 'My sister was special, she was special.' Her relative Jorge Perez said she often 'gave me a lot of advice,' despite being 'a lot younger than me,' he told the outlet. 'We're just relying on God to get us through this,' he said in November. The family started a GoFundMe for her funeral and other expenses. It has garnered more than $40,000. Rodriguez was the youngest of four and had three older brothers. Her brothers remember her as being a giving person, who loved to travel and was full of life 'Stephanie was a kind, loving, and playful person whose warmth touched everyone she met.
