Clearway hours to be extended to 13 hours, 7 days a week, on major corridor
The Musgrave and Waterworks roads corridor will have its clearway hours extended from just a couple of hours in the morning and afternoon to most of the day.
In February, Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner announced it would be the first road corridor under review for a project in which car parking would be banned for longer to speed up traffic, and said it could involve adding an extra hour or two to clearway times and adding clearways on Saturdays.
Previously, there was a clearway from 7am-9am inbound and 4-7pm outbound, Mondays to Fridays.
But following a review, that will be extended to 6am to 7pm daily, including weekends, for both inbound and outbound traffic.

On Facebook, Greens Paddington councillor Seal Chong Wah said 73 per cent of responses in council's consultation were supportive, but some residents were worried about getting deliveries, and getting dropped off.
Work was due to start mid-June and take two weeks.
Other clearways will be reviewed in the future, including Bowen Bridge Road to Lutwyche Road, Abbotsford Road, Wynnum Road, Vulture Street, Wellington Road, Moggill Road, Webster Road, Wickham Terrace to Leichhardt Street, St Pauls Terrace, and Klumpp Road.
