A north Fulton County man is behind bars after police say he kidnapped an employee at a car dealership.
Deputies say Barinuaadum Bariyiga, 39, brought his car to the RBM of Alpharetta for a routine service appointment. But when he got back, they say he asked the service advisor to show him the features on his loaner.

But deputies told Channel 2's Michael Seiden that when she got in the car, Bariyiga took off.
Investigators say he drove her around for 40 minutes despite her begging him to take her back to the dealership.
'He persistently asked her personal and inappropriate questions about her love life, relationship status and appearance,' the responding deputy wrote in his report that Seiden obtained.
They say he also asked her on a date and called himself from her phone so he could save her phone number.
Eventually, he drove her back to the dealership, where he stayed until deputies arrived. They say after they found him in the service area, he attempted to leave with his child who stayed back during the chaos.

Bariyiga is charged with several crimes, including kidnapping, false imprisonment and obstruction.
Seiden reached out to RBM of Alpharetta to see if they plan to make any changes to ensure their employees' safety, but the dealership declined to comment.
He also exchanged text messages with Bariyiga's wife who said she would call him about the allegations after she got off work, but he has not yet heard back.

On Monday, TikToker JunkyardJeff1966 posted a series of videos of a modified E30-generation BMW 3 Series coming into his junkyard to be crushed after it was reportedly seized by the police, which is a sad story in and of itself — but it's doubly unfortunate because of what was lying under its hood. Specifically, the impounded E30 was sporting what appears to be Toyota's 2JZ-GTE engine under the hood, having likely been swapped in from a Supra. The car looks like it's out of a Fast and Furious movie, complete with HKS and BBS stickers plastered on its multi-colored side skirt, so it feels only right that a 2JZ would be swapped in for period-correct wastegate noises. The interior of the E30 further points to this being a true enthusiast build. A hydraulic handbrake, bucket seats, and a roll cage suggest this machine may have been a potential drift car, while the center console has been cut out to make space for a racecar-style panel of switches. The video shows an interior completely stripped of sound deadening and a fuel cell installed in the bare trunk. The deep-dish "BBS" basketweave-style wheels only add to the early-Aughts styling. "There's a police agency that wants it destroyed, so this is seized for some type of offense," Jeff explains in the video. "Who knows? Maybe it was drag racing!" It's not clear what offense the driver of the car was charged with that warranted the destruction of such a special car. Given that Jeff appears to be based in Michigan, it's not likely to be a lack of emissions certification that is sending this Toyota-powered E30 to the grave. Whatever the reason, we're sad to see this Supra-powered E30 go to its grave. Couple says they are ‘traumatized' after being attacked by three small dogs in their yard
A Georgia couple says they are traumatized after their neighbor's three small dogs ran onto their property and attacked them – prompting the husband to now pack his pistol every time he steps outside his home. Surveillance footage captured the moment dogs belonging to Melody and Michael Barnhill's neighbor rushed across their front lawn and into their garage, where they attacked the couple on Memorial Day. Video shows two small dogs, later followed by a third, run up to woman and chased her into the garage as she shrieked in fear. It's unclear what breed the dog's were. 'I was just screaming at the top of my lungs,' Melody told WSB-TV. Her husband, Michael, came rushing to her side. Footage shows him swinging a plastic watering can at two of the dogs as he screamed, 'Get off her. Get off her. Get off her.' Despite his efforts, the dogs turned on him – with a third joining in on the attack. 'That's when that one really got into my leg. The second one came up,' he said. Michael suffered serious injuries to his leg and groin – and said his doctor told him he was lucky he didn't bleed out. At one point during the attack, Melody went to grab her gun, but was unable to hit any of the dogs, she told the news station. The Barnhills said the dogs' owner, a neighbor, watched the attack unfold but had 'no sense of urgency' in helping to stop it. Animal services removed the dogs but said they couldn't ensure they wouldn't return. The Barnhills were also upset that the owner was never cited for the incident. 'They should not be back. And the owners should be cited,' Melody said. The couple was also upset after learning from a county official that the dogs had bitten someone else in another neighborhood. Now, Michael says he packs his pistol whenever he leaves his home. 'When I open up this garage, I gotta have my gun on my hip at all times because you don't know what you're going to walk into,' he said. Officials are investigating the incident. The neighbor involved could not be reached by WSB-TV.

Body found after 27-year-old vanishes while boating with friends, Georgia cops say
The body of a man who went under during a boat trip with friends has been found, according to his family and the Georgia Department of Natural Resources. Crews pulled 27-year-old Ramon Diaz-Soria's body from Lake Lanier on Sunday, June 15, after an extensive search that started the day before, said DNR spokesman Mark McKinnon. Game wardens used sonar to find the missing boater and recovered his body in 60 feet of water, McKinnon said. Authorities said Diaz-Soria jumped from the boat into the water in a residential cove near Vanns Tavern Park in Gainesville on June 14. However, family members said he was celebrating a friend's birthday when he suddenly fell in the lake, WSB-TV reported. 'I guess they were stopping at an island or something, and he fell into the water within seconds,' a friend, Melanie Meza, told the news station. 'They tried to get him and after five minutes, there was no luck.' DNR officials said Diaz-Soria was wearing a life vest, but it wasn't secured properly. 'Once in the water, he went under and did not resurface, leaving his life jacket floating on the surface,' DNR officials said. Crews searched until dark June 14 and resumed the following morning, officials said. Game wardens and the Forsyth County Fire/EMS dive team found Diaz-Soria's body at about 7:30 p.m. Sunday, WSB-TV reported, citing officials. His sister, Abigail Diaz, remembered her brother as the 'light of their family,' according to WAGA. She said he worked with Hispanic youth and helped provide for their family financially, the station reported. 'I just wanted to run to the lake and jump in there,' Abigail Diaz told the station. 'And I myself don't know how to swim, but I feel like as anybody would when it comes to their family members, especially a sibling.' Diaz-Soria's body was released to the coroner's office, DNR officials said. Gainesville is about a 50-mile drive northeast from downtown Atlanta.
