The arrival of monsoon always brings along a refreshing change — the scent of wet earth, the cool breeze, and a touch of nostalgia. For television actress
Ashi Singh
, the first rain of the season turned into an unforgettable experience as she witnessed it while shooting for her show Ufff… Yeh Love Hai Mushkil.
Currently portraying the role of Kairi, a young and ambitious lawyer opposite Shabir Ahluwalia's Yug, Ashi's on-screen chemistry has already become a talking point among fans.
Recalling the magical moment, Ashi shared, 'There's something very pure about the first rain — it feels like the world slows down for a moment. The first rain instantly transports me to my childhood — those carefree days of dancing in the rain, paper boats, and mom scolding me for getting drenched.
There's something magical about Mumbai monsoons.'
Interestingly, the showers arrived just as Ashi was shooting an outdoor scene. 'This time we were shooting outdoors for Ufff… Yeh Love Hai Mushkil when the drizzle started. I couldn't help but just soak in the joy of the first rain. I loved the beautiful fragrance of the wet earth, and everything around just paused for a moment,' she said.
Drawing parallels with her character, Ashi added, 'It reminded me so much of my character Kairi. She finds beauty in the simplest things, and I think that's what makes her special. I'm someone who absolutely loves chai, music, and the smell of wet earth — and when all of that came together on a shoot day, it just felt surreal. It's one of those moments you want to relive again and again.'

Exclusive: Ashi Singh on being able to buy a house in Mumbai; ‘I never wanted any designer brands, but this was an important target to achieve'
Actress Ashi Singh , currently seen as Kairi in Ufff…Yeh Love Hai Mushkil opposite Shabir Ahluwalia, has achieved a major personal milestone—buying her own house in Mumbai. In an exclusive conversation, Ashi opened up about what this accomplishment means to her and why it was always a top priority. Reflecting on her early days in the city, Ashi shared, 'When I shifted to Mumbai, I was still in school. We always lived on rent. And I don't know why, but people here trouble tenants a lot. It feels like they are giving us money to stay, not the other way around. Even if you pay Rs 50,000 or Rs 1 lakh in rent, you're not treated well. That's at least been our experience.' For Ashi, owning a home wasn't about luxury—it was about stability. 'I didn't want a designer bag or a good car or a sports car—nothing. I just wanted a house, which finally I got. It was an important target to achieve.' Interestingly, despite owning the home, Ashi hasn't moved in yet. 'No, no. In fact, I have not even shifted there because my shoot happens where I stay right now. My set is 10 minutes away. It doesn't make sense to live an hour away. I've always said, wherever my set is, that's where I'll live. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Thị trường có dấu hiệu suy thoái không? Her story is a refreshing reminder that success is as much about personal goals as professional achievements.

Ufff…Yeh Love Hai Mushkil: Chaos ensues when Kairi and her siblings move into Yug's house
Drama and emotions are running high in Ufff… Yeh Love Hai Mushkil, as Advocate Yug Sinha (Shabir Ahluwalia) and Kairi Sharma ( Ashi Singh ) are drawn into a whirlwind of tension, unresolved pasts, and unexpected connections. In a dramatic courtroom showdown, Kairi defeats Yug, triggering his wounded ego and a thirst for revenge. However, fate has other plans. Yug's mother, Mayari (Supriya Shukla), who recently met with an accident, is rescued by Kairi. Touched by her kindness, Mayari sees a glimpse of her late daughter Lata in Kairi and insists Yug bring her into their home—along with her siblings. Though reluctant, Yug agrees, setting the stage for a full-blown household circus as the Sharmas and Sinhas share the same roof. The chaos only escalates when Yug decides to shift them to the outhouse for some peace, but things are anything but quiet. Amid the madness, sparks of chemistry begin to fly between Yug and Kairi, with humorous situations—including an accidental wardrobe swap—bringing them closer. However, just as their bond begins to deepen, the past begins to rear its head. Kairi's father, Kundan (Madhvendra Jha), threatens to separate her from her siblings, and Yug is forced to confront painful secrets he's buried for years—secrets tied to forged documents, lost relationships, and an old case in Lucknow. Ashi Singh, who plays Kairi, shared, 'Kairi is juggling too much—family, emotions, and now her growing bond with Yug. The chaos at the house just adds more layers to their dynamic, and it's going to be a lot of fun for the viewers to watch how they navigate it all. I'm sure the audience will find themselves cheering for Yug and Kairi as their story unfolds in the most unexpected ways.' As romance clashes with revelations, viewers are in for a rollercoaster of love, loyalty, and truth.
