Sitaare Zameen Par Plot
Aamir Khan's movie is an official remake of the 2018 Spanish film Champions which follows a suspended basketball coach who must serve community service by helping a team of players with disabilities prepare for a tournament.
The film's songs are composed by Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy with lyrics written by Amitabh Bhattacharya. The background score is composed by Ram Sampath.
Ahead of the release, Aamir Khan announced that the film would open exclusively in cinemas and not on any streaming services. He reportedly also refused to make two cuts to the film suggested by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).

Aamir Khan 's latest offering, Sitaare Zameen Par, ended its first weekend at the Indian box office with promising numbers, though it fell just shy of breaching the Rs 60 crore milestone. The film, which opened to decent figures on Friday, showed strong upward momentum through the weekend, driven by positive word of mouth, family appeal, and the actor's loyal fanbase. According to early estimates on Sacnilk, Sitaare Zameen Par earned Rs 29.00 crore (India net) on Sunday, Day 3. This brings its total weekend collection across all languages to an estimated Rs 59.90 crore net, just under the Rs 60 crore benchmark that many industry trackers had anticipated it would cross.
