Since the show she's appeared in Ordinary Lies, Death in Paradise and ITV drama The Salisbury Poisonings.
Now, the 39-year-old actress has revealed she has been clinically diagnosed with Autism and ADHD.
Sharing a collage of photos of herself crying 'happy tears,' in a grey jumper, the star shared her update with fans.
Kimberley wrote: 'Happy tears. Still processing. Haven't read the full report yet but…
'Today I was clinically diagnosed with Autism and ADHD.
'I feel lighter than I have in a long time because instead of feeling like my brain is 'broken', I know now that it was just doing things differently all this time.'
She continued: 'I want to go back in time and give my younger self a cwtch and save her a lot of time and heartache but I can't change anything about how I got here really because then I wouldn't be me.
'I've always shared the ups and downs - so I wanted to share this with the most compassionate and accepting bunch I know - and that's been you lot over these past few years.

What is autism?
Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is an incurable, lifelong developmental condition that affects how people perceive the world and interact with others.
It affects around one in 100 people in the UK and is three to four times more common in boys than in girls.
Many people with ASD find it hard to understand other people's feelings and emotions, and they may have difficulty holding conversations.

In a sweet Father's Day post recently, Kimberley praised her partner and posted a carousel of images of him with their adorable son.
She wrote: 'To the Dads who not only have a newborn but a struggling partner to care for.
'To the Dads that show up ALL the time even if they're knackered or grumpy or even more knackered. To the Dads who care so deeply but show so little.
'To the Dads that really mean it when it's 50/50. Or 60/40 or 70/30 depending what's going on in life.
'To the Dads who hug and kiss their children and leave them in no doubt how loved they are. To the Dads who always stand up for their partner.
'To this Dad, who never looked away even when things got tough. Who always saw straight through to the heart of me when I lost myself and even I couldn't see it. Who loves me and our son unconditionally but that doesn't mean he'll let us get away with stuff.
'Sometimes Dads get left out of the perinatal mental illness conversation. I've found in a lot of instances, they're the silent, sidelined heroes keeping everything together. Remember that there's help and support for Dads too.'

Miley Cyrus ' former castmate hit back at her claims that he had smoked pot while on set of Hannah Montana. The Grammy winner, 32 - who recently made a surprise appearance at Beyonce's Cowboy Carter show in Paris - made the allegations about Mitchel Musso on Thursday's episode of her mom Tish and sister Brandi's Sorry We're Cyrus podcast. At one point, the singer revealed that her father Billy Ray Cyrus had smoked marijuana on set before claiming Musso, 33, had the same habit. The actor - who had played the character of Oliver on the hit series from 2006 through 2011 - denied the claims in a statement to E! News. 'Well, that's not how I remember it,' Musso expressed. 'However, I've got plenty of stories from those years that might be worth having a conversation about. 'If we're revisiting Hannah Montana history - just say the word,' he continued, before emphasizing that he had no hard feelings towards the performer. 'All love to Miley and the fam, even when the rewrites get this creative,' Mitchel concluded to the outlet. Cyrus and Musso had worked alongside other stars on the Disney channel series including her dad Billy Ray, Emily Osment, Jason Earles and Moises Arias. The show was a hit and aired on the network for a total of four seasons - and also spawned concert films and other projects such as Hannah Montana: The Movie (2009). The show also garnered a number of accolades during its time on the air, such as receiving four Primetime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Children's Program. Along with Hannah Montana, Mitchel is also known for his roles in the animated series Phineas And Ferb as well as Disney XD's Pair Of Kings. However, he was written out of the latter after his arrest in 2013 for DUI suspicion - and had also been driving while intoxicated under the legal age since he was age 20 at the time of the incident. In 2023, he was arrested for public drunkenness and allegedly stealing a bag of chips from a motel in Texas. Later that same year, the two major charges of public intoxication and theft were dropped. During Miley's appearance on the Sorry We're Cyrus podcast which dropped on Thursday, she cleared the air about what went down behind the scenes of Hannah Montana. When a fan wrote in asking, 'What's a core memory from the Hannah Montana days that still makes you laugh?' Miley didn't miss a beat, replying, 'Dad smoking pot and everyone blaming me for it' - and her sister Brandi quickly confirmed, 'I do remember that.' Best version of herself.' The marijuana bombshell comes after Miley unpacked a decade's worth of family drama and trauma and revealed how she mended all of her fences. She teased the whole family went through a, 'really difficult, dark decade' but they were able to get through it. 'Just to get each other into a room to get to counseling would have been a war,' Miley admitted. She told Lewinsky that at one point of the 'dark decade,' half of her family members were not speaking to each other. Miley admitted she, ' had a lot of loyalty' to her mother Tish, who split with father Billy Ray back in 2022 after nearly 30 years of marriage and sharing Miley, Braison, 31 and Noah, 25. Before their official split and divorce that was finalized in 2023, Miley said that her parents were on-and-off, as she revealed how that affected her. '[I] watched what happens when you don't clean things up as they're happening,' Miley admitted. 'They really do stack. And then all of the sudden you go, "Oh my God, it's been 10 years and this is a mess I barely even know how to start. This is emotional hoarding,"' she admitted. Ultimately, the singer, 'cleaned all that up,' during a, 'really important part of [her] year … putting those lines of communication back together. 'I just kind of busted through the pile that stacked and just [went], "I'm here, you're here, let's start by having a good time together and then as we start bringing some happiness and joy into each other's life, then we'll be in a better place to have these conversations,"' she admitted. Cyrus also added it 'was easier to [wave] a white flag' than go through counseling with someone else.

Director Danny Boyle on how 28 Years Later could be seen as an allegory for Brexit

Director Danny Boyle has said his latest film 28 Years Later could be seen as an allegory for Brexit. Boyle's original zombie horror, 28 Days Later, was a groundbreaking film which revitalised the genre. Now, his follow-up 28 Years Later gives an insight into how much of humanity is still standing almost three decades after the deadly Rage virus took hold. "It's a very ambitious picture of what's happened to the British mainland 28 years after the original infection," he tells Sky News. The film shows how mainland Europe has cut Britain off, the country is isolated, with the remaining population left to fend for itself, which Boyle says could be seen as an allegory for Brexit or the pandemic. "There is an element of that… horror is a wonderful genre because you can put transparencies against it, you can put COVID against it… you can put Brexit against it as well, and you read things into it like that and it's deliciously flexible," he says. Central to this new story is a new character, a young boy called Spike, played by newcomer Alfie Williams, whose character has been raised on a remote coastal Island with Jodie Comer starring as his mum. "To get to see how Danny and his team work on set and then see the final product, it's been a dream," Comer says. Fans won't have to wait quite so long for the follow-up to this, with a triptych of films planned this time around. While the second has already been shot and is due out next January, the really scary thing for Boyle currently is securing the financing to make the last instalment. "We're hoping we do well enough to get the third film financed... we want there to be three films ultimately," he says. 'A wonderful tribute' to Sycamore Gap Boyle's film also features a digital recreation of the Sycamore Gap tree, which the director says he hopes will be "a wonderful tribute" to Northumberland's iconic tree. Eagle-eyed viewers will spot the tree is still standing in scenes for Boyle's apocalyptic horror despite being felled in September 2023. Boyle explains: "It had already been destroyed by the time we came to film, so we recreated it for the same reasons that you see the Queen in this… all the things that have happened to us in the last 28 years have not happened." As well as forming a part of people's personal lives, as the scene of wedding proposals, ashes being scattered and countless photographs, it had already held a place in pop culture, featuring in the 1991 Kevin Costner film Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves. It is a blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment in the film, but Boyle said given how much of what they shot is filmed in the beautiful Northumbria countryside, to resurrect "one of their most beautiful icons" was a "real privilege which we felt we couldn't ignore". "So we've recreated it deliberately to say that it was still growing… which is a wonderful tribute," he adds. 28 Years Later is out on 20 June.
