Trump to Miss Albanese Meeting at G-7

A planned meeting between President Donald Trump and Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese at the G-7 summit in Canada has been scrapped, following Trump's abrupt exit due to the escalating crisis in the Middle East. The American Chamber of Commerce in Australia says there are still positive signs for the relationship between the two countries, and sees a chance for the two leaders to meet at the next Quad gathering in India. AmCham Australia CEO April Palmerlee shares her outlook on Australia-US relations on "Bloomberg: The Asia Trade." Lottery player spends $1 on ticket — and scores half-million dollar win in NC

A lottery player spent $1 on a ticket — and hit the jackpot in North Carolina. The player bought a Carolina Cash 5 ticket that won the top prize in the June 17 drawing, making it worth more than a half-million dollars, the N.C. Education Lottery wrote on its website and in an email to McClatchy News. The winning numbers: 1-14-16-21-33. The winner scored $512,111 after playing the Cash 5 game online. While lottery officials said they can't pinpoint where the ticket was sold, the person's account is based in Hillsborough, a roughly 15-mile drive northwest from downtown Durham. Cash 5 is a rolling jackpot game that offers tickets starting at $1. To score the jackpot prize, a person's ticket must match all five of the numbers picked in a drawing, rules show. As of about 10:30 a.m. June 18, the lucky ticket holder hadn't claimed their prize. In North Carolina, the winners of drawing games have about six months to cash in, according to lottery officials.
