Watch This Early Release ‘Meow-velous' Dance Act on ‘America's Got Talent' Which is ‘Puurfect'

Watch This Early Release 'Meow-velous' Dance Act on 'America's Got Talent' Which is 'Puurfect' originally appeared on Parade. Last week it was the Osaka Philharmonic, this week it's Loco Pop Familia as the wacky acts from Japan continue to bless the America's Got Talent stage for its landmark 20th season. It was hello, kitty with lots of tail wags and paw poses when the 13-member crew from Tokyo took to the stage with a synchronized dance routine to Christell's 'Dubidubidu.' Dressed in black-and-white cat costumes with their faces made up with kitty whiskers and noses to continue the feline theme, the performance was the cat's meow. 🎬 🎬 Related: The video doesn't give any backstory on the group, nor does it contain the judges' comments, but we did see Howie Mandel smiling, Sofia Vergara getting her boogie on and Simon Cowell saying, 'This is good,' so it looks like they may have gotten at least three yeses to make it through to the Live Shows. Tune in on Tuesday night to get the verdict. America's Got Talent airs Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC. Watch the 'AGT' Golden Buzzer Dance Crew 45 Years in the Making

Watch the 'AGT' Golden Buzzer Dance Crew 45 Years in the Making originally appeared on Parade. There's never been a question that America's Got Talent's Terry Crews is Michigan proud. The Flint-born and raised host has previously shown his support for an act from Detroit when he twice named the Detroit Youth Choir his Golden Buzzer, frst for Season 14 and then for America's Got Talent: The Champions. So, it wasn't a big surprise that he continued the tradition by awarding the Detroit-based Funkateers his Golden Buzzer for Season 20. The Funkateers are a four-man dance crew who first performed in 1980 at their high school talent show, which they won. But the last time they all performed together was in 1989 at one of their weddings. 🎬 🎬 Initially, they performed at a lot of theaters, outside summer concerts and the like. But as they got older, they became fathers, so they had to put dancing on hold while they took day jobs in sales, financial services, maintenance and contracting. 'We've always believed that we were before our time,' they told judges Simon Cowell, Mel B, Howie Mandel and Sofia Vergara. 'That's why we came up with this idea. Let's give America's Got Talent a shot.' The judges had no clue what they were going to do. So when they got their groove on to Rick James' 'Give It To Me Baby,' there were smiling faces all around. Instead of returning to the stage, Terry headed down into the audience, while Simon said, 'Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.' Related: 'I love it when we start the day with an act that is perfect,' Sofia told them. 'You guys are what AGT is all about. You guys are great, you have a beautiful story, and you actually did what you were supposed to do. I loved it.' Then Howie added, 'As good as they were, and they were probably this good in high school, it's better that you did it now at this age. It makes it even better.' Terry was still making his way to the judges' table, and he popped up just as Simon was about to start talking. 'Listen, you are my Golden Buzzer. I got you!' Terry said. 'That was supposed to be mine,' Simon responded. Terry replied, 'These are my people.' 'I was going to do it,' Simon insisted. Related: Mel B, who earlier this season stole a Golden Buzzer from Sofia, told Simon, 'You snooze, you lose.' After the excitement and the confetti calmed down, Simon said, 'People sometimes say, 'What is the perfect audition.' It's something surprising and it just makes you feel amazing. I am not making this up. I was literally about to do that [press the Golden Buzzer] and out of the corner of my eye I saw [Terry] and I hated you and I loved you at the same time.' Terry declared, 'I had to Simon. It was too amazing. It shows that age ain't nothin' but a number.' America's Got Talent airs Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
