Liam Gallagher's lovechild mother ‘capitalises' on Oasis reunion with HUGE maintenance fees demands
THE mother of Liam Gallagher's lovechild is trying to 'capitalise' on the Oasis reunion to get him to pay almost £500,000 in yearly maintenance fees, a court heard yesterday.
The Wonderwall singer's lawyers blasted Liza Ghorbani's 'extreme expenses' and said there was no reason for the rock star to pay them.

She wants a new agreement with Liam, 52, in relation to their 12-year-old daughter Gemma, who has autism.
New York's Supreme Court was told he has paid more than $1million (£738,000) since a 2015 court order.
He later agreed to pay $240,000 (£177,000) towards Gemma's school and autism-related expenses after being informed of her having the condition in 2021.
But she is now demanding a total of around $670,000 (£494,490) per year from Liam to cover basic child support and expenses.
Under her new proposal, she would get $420,000 a year in child support, plus a further payment of $250,000.
But Liam's lawyer Judy Poller told the court: 'The child does have autism and Mr Gallagher appreciates the stresses and the challenges for the child.
"However, there needs to be a reality here... the fact is, they are seeking this money because Mr Gallagher is about to endeavour on a new musical adventure.
'He will be going on tour, and they are looking to capitalise.'
She added of Liza, 51,: ' She is looking for $30,000-a-month residence so she can have a pool, $100,000-a-year live-in nanny, a vacation budget of $6,300.
'These expenses are not appropriate. This was never an intact family that had a lifestyle.'
Liam, who was pictured walking his dog in North London yesterday, is set to kick off Oasis's mega £400million comeback gigs in Cardiff next month after making peace with brother Noel, 58, following years of warring after the band's 2009 split.
The star, who fathered Gemma with the US journalist after she interviewed him, appeared at yesterday's hearing via video link.
Liza's lawyer Amanda Creegan says Gemma's needs are not being met. She said they were back in court because Liam had only agreed to cover tuition fees for two years, and that he refuses to 'come to the table'.
Ms Creegan said Liam has never met nor asked to meet Gemma and he 'doesn't talk to her, doesn't acknowledge her'. And she accused Liam of lying about fees he had previously been paying.
She said: 'About three days after she filed for the modification motion, he went on an X rant, where he called her a 'gold-digger' and he accused her of shaking him down, and lied about how much he was paying her, and violated the confidentiality agreement.'
Judge Jeffrey Pearlman said he believes 'there is a settlement to be had' and scheduled a private hearing for June 13.
Asked if he can make that date, Liam, in a black jacket, said: 'Yeah, I'm good for that, any time.'
He asked what time it would be in the UK, then added: 'That's all good, man. It's cool.'

An Oregon man who blamed his extreme fatigue and weight loss on work stress actually had terminal cancer. Once an ultramarathon champion and self-proclaimed 'health nut,' the 41-year-old had grown accustomed to intense weight training and running up to five miles a day. He mostly steered clear of alcohol and processed foods and prioritized a balanced diet with all organic vegetables and lean proteins. But earlier this year, he noticed he could no longer get through his regular exercise routine - 'the first big change' that signaled a deadly issue. Over the course of several months, he suffered extreme fatigue and dropped 30 pounds without trying. 'I thought it was just stress at work,' the mechanical engineer said. However, bloodwork and an abdominal CT at his yearly checkup revealed stage four pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, the most common form of pancreatic cancer. Just one in eight patients with pancreatic cancer is expected to survive five years, data shows, and when it's diagnosed in later stages, which happens most of the time, survival rates dwindle to just three percent. The man, who posted his story in an anonymous Reddit thread, has just six months left to live despite living 'a very healthy lifestyle' and having no family history of the disease. He said: 'I never smoked, almost never drank, ate clean and exercised daily. Sometimes biology lets you down.' Pancreatic cancer affects roughly 67,000 Americans every year and kills about 52,000. More than half the time, the disease is first spotted after it has already reached stage three or four due to its vague symptoms. These include abdominal pain, weight loss, back pain, jaundice and floating or clay-colored stools. This leads patients to assume their symptoms are from more benign causes like irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). This was the case for Clair Honeywood, a 45-year-old from the UK who chocked her severe stomach pain up to IBS. She was diagnosed with inoperable pancreatic cancer and given a year to live. And Matthew Rosenblum of Michigan assumed his bone-white stools in 2021 were from Crohn's disease, but it was actually stage four pancreatic cancer at age 32. It's unclear exactly what causes pancreatic cancer, but smoking, obesity and diabetes are thought to increase the risk by inducing harmful inflammation that causes cells to divide and become mutated more easily. The man in the Reddit thread, however, blames his diagnosis on bad luck. He said: 'Before this diagnosis, I was in perfect health. I thought I had another 50 years left. The first thought was 'This is too soon.'' The former engineer said he will soon move into hospice care and try psilocybin therapy for pain and the mental health effects that have come with his diagnosis. Psilocybin, the psychoactive ingredient in magic mushrooms, has been thought to reduce anxiety and depression in cancer patients. He also has signed up for several clinical trials. It's unclear if he will be getting standard treatments like chemotherapy or radiation. For now, he is focusing on using up his savings on vacations, scuba diving, skydiving and other items on his bucket list. His main regret is not taking enough risks like 'starting a business, moving to another place, trying something you were interested in but didn't know if you could do.' 'In the end, your failures are often not as consequential as you might think,' he added. He said: 'I'm glad I've been able to experience life. In all the possible realities I could've existed in, this was a pretty good one. Even if it's short. 'I don't have any grandiose aspirations for my legacy. A simple 'that guy was alright' is good enough for me. 'The biggest piece of advice I would give is to not take the time you have for granted. I know that's probably a worn out statement, but it rings incredibly true when you realize how finite your life really is.'

A woman has shared the eye-watering amount that she's forked over for friends' weddings - joking she 'could have put a down payment on a house' with the amount she's spent. Sacramento-based Shannon Detrick, 30, revealed she's been a bridesmaid in five of her close friends weddings - and she broke down the total cost. She explained in the now-viral TikTok that for the first bachelorette party, which was held in Palm Springs, Shannon spent $965, with the wedding being held semi locally and costing her $916. 'Bachelorette number two was for one of my high school BFFs, it was in Miami, and [I] spent $1,425,' she said. The wedding was local again, costing Shannon $522. The third bachelorette party was held in New Orleans, Louisiana, coming to a total of $1,536. The wedding took place in Denver, meaning they had to fly out, which cost her another $1,782. 'Bachelorette number four was in Sonoma [California], it was her 30th birthday so we kind of balled out,' she admitted, revealing the total she spent was $1,676. The wedding was held in Maine, with accommodation and flights coming to $1,982. The fifth celebration was a joint party held in Scottsdale, with Shannon's husband's cost included in the total, which was $2,978. That wedding cost her another $1,081. In total, Shannon spent $14,863 on five bachelorettes and weddings, spending an average of $1,256 on the weddings and $1,716 on the bachelorette festivities. She added her time as a bridesmaids isn't over yet, with upcoming maid of honor duties for her sister's wedding and bachelorette coming soon. 'Love all of these people SO MUCH and would do any one of these events over in a heart beat,' she captioned the post. She continued: 'But its always important to remember that saying "yes" comes with a [price] tag! 'Brides/couples: be very open with your wedding party before expecting them to say yes. 'Also be flexible with your expectations for things like travel, bachelorette parties, etc. in this economy.' 'Your friends (usually) WANT to be there for you!' she added. 'Bridesmaids/wedding party: make the most out of the trips! Its such a special time for your people and being by their side is truly so special.' According to The Knot, the average cost of being a bridesmaid is between $1,200 to $1,800 but said it could be as high as $2,950. Many bridesmaids have taken to social media to share their qualms over being invited to be a part of someone's big day - with an astronomical price tag. Earlier in the year, a woman posted a lengthy message to Reddit, sharing her concerns over an upcoming wedding after the bride told her bridal party she expected them to cover huge financial costs of her pre-wedding events. 'When asking us to be in the wedding party, the bride made it clear she expected bridesmaids to pay for our dresses, alterations, and to be present for the rehearsal and wedding,' the woman explained in the Reddit post, shared to the Am I The A**hole Subreddit. She offered to either pay for makeup OR hair for me (the maid-of-honor) but said the bridesmaids can pay extra to have those done the day of the event,' she explained. The woman added that the other bridesmaids have expressed concern about escalating costs, which she also shares. However, when she spoke with the bride, she suggested that it would be easiest for the bridesmaids to understand the total costs they're expected to incur for the wedding, including dress, alterations, bridal shower, bachelorette, and any incidentals. 'I argued (politely) that we need to have an idea of what's expected of us, and it's not on us to create/manage the budget for her wedding,' she explained. 'I asked for a clear spreadsheet of our expected expenses so I can speak with the bridesmaids and make a plan,' she shared. 'Is it normal for bridesmaids to not know what's expected of them? I don't know much about weddings or being MOH and want her to have an amazing wedding without breaking the bank for the other ladies,' the woman shared, adding: 'I'm never saying yes to MOH again.' After speaking with the bride, the bridal party was given an estimate of $1,000 each. 'This is much higher than the initial $100 on a dress and alterations,' she pointed out. Reddit users agreed that the bridesmaids shouldn't be wildly out of pocket to cover someone else's wedding.
