Israeli shelling kills at least 23, wounds dozens across Gaza Strip
Gaza - Saba: Approximately 23 Palestinian citizens were martyred and dozens wounded early Saturday morning as Israeli enemy shelling targeted various areas of the Gaza Strip, with a heavy concentration in the central region. Local Palestinian sources reported that Israeli forces opened fire directly at civilians near aid distribution points in central Gaza, resulting in around 15 fatalities and numerous injuries. Casualties were transported to al-Awda and al-Aqsa Martyrs hospitals. Separately, Palestinian medical sources confirmed that five martyrs arrived at al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, including two who succumbed to wounds from an airstrike on a tent near al-Khalidi Mosque, coinciding with artillery shelling east of al-Tuffah neighborhood. Additionally, three Palestinian citizens were martyred when Israeli drones targeted a group of civilians near the Islamic University south of Khan Yunis. Since October 7, 2023, the Gaza Strip has been subjected to what is described as a genocidal war by the Israeli enemy, involving killings, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement. This continues despite international appeals and International Court of Justice orders. The ongoing conflict has resulted in over 182,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, predominantly children and women, with over 11,000 still missing. HR Org files complaint in Netherlands against "Israeli" officer
Amsterdam – Saba: The Hind Rajab Foundation, a Brussels-based human rights organization, has filed a legal complaint with the Dutch Public Prosecutor's Office against an "Israeli" Air Force officer currently in the Netherlands, accusing him of participating in the genocide in Gaza. According to al-Quds Press, the Hind Rajab Foundation officially filed a legal complaint with the Dutch Public Prosecutor's Office on Tuesday against Lavi Lazarovitch, a major in the "Israeli" Air Force, who is currently in the Netherlands as part of the Cyber Ark World Tour, organized by the "Israeli" cybersecurity company Cyber Ark. This action is part of the Hind Rajab Foundation's broader legal strategy to hold perpetrators of war crimes accountable, in cooperation with legal teams from multiple jurisdictions, and in accordance with the principle of universal jurisdiction enshrined in Dutch and international law. The Hind Rajab Foundation, founded in February 2024, is headquartered in Brussels and is active in pursuing "Israeli" officials and military personnel through lawsuits worldwide. The foundation is named after a five-year-old Palestinian girl who was killed, along with six of her relatives, by the enemy army when they were sheltering in a car southwest of Gaza City on January 29, 2024.
