and his fiancée Lauren Sánchez are set to get married next week in Venice, Italy. The two will get married in a private ceremony after being engaged for two years. According to a report by Daily Mail, the couple has booked the
Scuola Grande della Misericordia
in Venice for their upcoming wedding celebrations. The Scuola Grande della Misericordia is one of the most prominent buildings in Venice's historic center. As per the report, it has been reserved from June 26 to 28 as part of the celebrations. While details about the actual wedding ceremony remain unconfirmed, a source told the publication that access to nearby San Giorgio Maggiore island will also be restricted during this period, with Bezos's $500 million superyacht Koru anchored offshore.

The wedding is expected to have fewer than 200 guests, including celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom, and some members of the Trump family, according to the report. Nearly 60 Venice water taxis have been booked for guest transport, along with a private boat service between the island and the yacht.
Guests will stay at luxury hotels across the city, including The Aman and Hotel Cipriani. Local bakery Rosa Salva Venetia, on the other hand, will supply pastries for the weekend, though not the wedding cake.

Mysuru/Chikkamagaluru: With the state tourism department deciding to approve the homestay permissions only through online and increase the number of permissions from various departments required to set up a homestay, the entire sector is now reeling under confusion. NR Tejasvi, president of the Homestay Association, Chikkamagaluru said for the past two decades, we have been engaged in the homestay business in rural areas. However, since last year, despite submitting the necessary documents for homestay licences, the district administration has been delaying the renewal process. If any incidents occur at the homestays, the owners are held directly responsible, and their licences are cancelled, he said. Despite submitting several requests to the district administration regarding homestay renewals, the officials claim that due to new guidelines, it cannot be done immediately causing distress to homestay owners, he said. Homestay Association Kodagu district president Monti Ganesh said the state govt assured bringing homestay NoCs under the ambit of Sakala services. "So, the website is being updated. Homestay owners should not get worried," she said. Meanwhile, tourism minister HK Patil justified the decision to further tighten the mandatory requirements for the homestays.
