New Delhi: The teaser of the highly anticipated superhero film Mirai, starring Teja Sajja, Manchu Manoj, and Tanja Keller, has officially hit the big screens, sending fans into a frenzy across social media. Directed by Karthik Gattamneni and backed by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad under the People Media Factory banner, Mirai is set for a grand release on 5th September 2025.
Described as a fusion of Indian Itihaasa and modern action adventure, the film introduces a bold cinematic universe where mythology meets superhero spectacle. At its core is Teja Sajja as a Super Yodha—entrusted with guarding nine sacred scriptures that determine the fate of humanity. Manchu Manoj stars as the dark and powerful antagonist, the Black Sword, adding intense gravitas to the narrative.
The teaser, loaded with breathtaking visuals and an epic background score by GowraHari, has drawn widespread praise. Social media erupted with fan reactions, with one user calling it 'outstanding' and another hailing it as 'epic' with 'goosebump-worthy BGM.'

However, what truly ignited fan speculation was the teaser's final shot—an enigmatic figure walking through a horde of monkeys. This frame has sparked intense debate online, with fans questioning whether the figure represents Lord Rama or Lord Krishna, adding a divine layer of mystery to the film's mythic narrative.
Featuring an ensemble cast including Ritika Nayak, Jagapathi Babu, Jayaram, and Shriya Saran, Mirai is shaping up to be one of Indian cinema's most ambitious superhero films. With its high production values, VFX-driven spectacle, and mythological undercurrents, the film promises an unforgettable cinematic experience this September.

‘Can't celebrate like Rishabh Pant, or bat like him': Ex-India players react to viral handspring celebration

Rishabh Pant's handspring celebration — as much as his 178-ball 134 — was one of the highlights of Saturday's action in the Headingley Test at Leeds. After the wicketkeeper-batter scored his seventh Test ton on the way to helping India score 471 against England in the first innings, he celebrated by doing a very acrobatic handspring that a gymnast would be proud of. Former India cricketers like Ravi Shastri, Dinesh Karthik, and Cheteshwar Pujara were left awestruck by the acrobatic celebration from Pant. Former India coach Ravi Shastri's verdict on the celebration was simple. 'Nothing wrong in that. That's him. Let him be. You know, he's different. At a very young age, he did a lot of gymnastics,' said the former India cricketer and coach, who now sits in the commentary booth, while talking to BCCI's social media team. He then joked: 'Even if I might have tried it (the handspring), I think I might have… (but) it would have been to go into the pool.' 📸🤸‍♂️ Ending Day 2 with a 𝙋𝙖𝙣𝙩-𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙘 celebration 🥳 Scorecard ▶️ | #ENGvIND | @RishabhPant17 — BCCI (@BCCI) June 21, 2025 India cricketer Pujara added: 'Rishabh being Rishabh, he does something unique. He does it really well. I think it was unique. No one expected him to do that. I've never tried it. I'll need a lot of practice because that is something if you haven't tried, you can't do it.' Karthik, meanwhile, was astounded by both of Pant's feats on Day 2 of the first India vs England Test, his swashbuckling century and the flamboyant celebration. READ MORE: Why handspringing Rishabh Pant is a box-office superstar in traditional Leeds 'Neither could I do the somersault handspring like him, nor can I bat like him,' said Karthik, a former India wicketkeeper-batter himself. 'I think on both fronts (keeping and batting) he has exceeded expectations. It's quite an effort to do that, actually. And he does it consistently.' Karthik then added: 'When I was very young, my parents did make me participate in gymnastics and I did try and I was an utter failure at that. So, let's just leave it there because he (Pant) is doing it so much nicer when he celebrates it.'

The Raja Saab Update: Prabhas To Shoot 3 Songs, 95 Per Cent Of Film Completed

Last Updated: Apart from Prabhas, The Raja Saab also features Sanjay Dutt, Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan, and Riddhi Kumar — each adding layers of mystery to the cursed mansion's tale. The makers of director Maruthi's upcoming magnum opus 'The RajaSaab', featuring pan Indian star Prabhas in the lead, have disclosed that 95 per cent of the film's shooting has been completed and that only three songs and some patchwork are left to be shot. Talking to IANS on the sets of the film, where a huge mansion had been erected for the film, producer T G Vishwa Prasad, who is sparing no expense to make sure that the film is truly world-class, said, 'We have three songs left to be shot. Apart from that, there is some small patchwork that will have to be completed. Otherwise, shooting is almost over." The producer also disclosed that the VFX in Raja Saab will be world-class and that it will have all forms of CG, including 3D CG. The unit is confident that the film will shatter records and set the cash registers ringing at the box office when it hits screens on December 5 this year. In fact, the film is already breaking records even before its release. It now holds the record for having been shot in India's largest horror-fantasy set ever created. The towering, haunted mansion set seems to be steeped in secrets and is surrounded by an ominous silence. It may be recalled that director Maruthi, during the launch of the teaser, had said that the reason behind making such a grand film was to 'prove that we can make a Walt Disney film in India too." Apart from Prabhas, the film also features Sanjay Dutt, Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan, and Riddhi Kumar — each adding layers of mystery to the cursed mansion's tale. Produced by People Media Factory and directed by Maruthi, 'The RajaSaab' is slated to release on December 5 this year in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam as a pan-Indian entertainer.
