
MPESB Recruitment 2025: Registration begins for PNST, GNMTST posts, check how to apply online
The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB) has officially opened the registration process for the Pre-Nursing Selection Test (PNST) and the General Nursing and Midwifery Training Selection Test (GNMTST) for the 2025 academic session.
These entrance exams are key gateways for candidates aspiring to pursue nursing courses across government institutions in Madhya Pradesh.
The online application process began on May 19, 2025, and will continue until June 2, 2025, through the official website esb.mp.gov.in. The examination is scheduled to be held on June 24, 2025, in two shifts. Eligible candidates who have passed their 12th grade with science subjects are encouraged to apply before the deadline.

Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have completed 12th grade with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, securing a minimum of 45% marks. A 5% relaxation is provided for SC/ST/OBC candidates.

Geriatric Seva Rathna award presented
On Saturday evening, the 'Dr. V.S. Natarajan Geriatric Foundation' conferred on Y.S. Raju, senior professor of medicine and the former head of the department of medicine at NIMS, Hyderabad, the Geriatric Seva Rathna Award - 2025. The award was presented by T.N. Vallinayagam, former judge of the Madras High Court. A book 'Mudhumaiyai Ilamaiyakkum Yoga Payirchi' (Yoga practice that makes old age youthful), authored by S. Abirami Premnath, a naturopathy and yoga specialist was also launched on the occasion by S. Rajeswaran, former judge of the Madras High Court. Mr. Rajeswaran said the 18 asanas that have been detailed in the book that can be practiced for good health. Dr. Natarajan said the book the book is not just for the elderly but for the entire family, with jokes and anecdotes for all to read.

Over 5 lakh take part in Yogandhra-2025 campaign in Chittoor
The month-long Yogandhra-2025 celebrations concluded on Saturday at Mesanical Grounds of the District Sports Authority here with District Collector Sumit Kumar urging people to incorporate yoga into their daily lives for better health. Addressing a massive gathering of yoga participants, the Collector said that over 5 lakh people participated in yoga sessions conducted in coordination with the AP Tourism and Revenue departments. More than 5,000 trainers were deployed to ensure wide public engagement across the district. 'We conducted major sessions at seven venues, including tourist spots like Puligundu, Boyakonda, Kanipakam, Naniyala Elephant Camp, and Kangundi Fort. These sessions drew thousands of participants,' he said. The Collector highlighted that yoga must not be limited to a one-month campaign but practiced as a lifelong companion to enhance physical and mental well-being. Referring to the participation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu at the International Yoga Day event in Visakhapatnam, Mr. Kumar said that it would serve as a valid endorsement of the benefits of yoga for society. SP Manikanta Chandolu urged the people to practice yoga daily for complete wellness. The Collector and SP presented certificates and mementos to outstanding trainers and yoga instructors. Joint Collector G. Vidyadhari, Chittoor Urban Development Authority Chairperson Katari Hemalatha, and Chittoor Mayor C. Amuda were among those who participated in the yoga session.
