Intermediate supplementary exams to be conducted in an orderly manner: DRO Ramu Naik
Nandyal: District Revenue Officer (DRO) D Ramu Naik has instructed officials to ensure the smooth and systematic conduct of the Intermediate First- and Second-Year Supplementary Examinations. A review meeting regarding the arrangements for the examinations was held on Friday at the DRO Chamber in the Collectorate. The meeting was attended by DIO Sunitha, DEC members Raman, Krishnayya, Prabhakar, and other officials from relevant departments.
Speaking on the occasion, DRO Ramu Naik stated that the Intermediate Supplementary Examinations for both first and second year will be conducted from May 12 to May 20. The first-year examinations will be held from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, while the second-year examinations will take place from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
A total of 10,779 students are set to appear for the first-year supplementary exams, with 10,192 from the General stream and 587 from the Vocational stream. For the second-year supplementary exams, 3,325 students are expected to participate, comprising 2,959 from the General stream and 366 from the Vocational stream.
The examinations will be conducted across 42 centres, which include 19 Government Junior Colleges, 2 AP Model Schools, and 19 Private Unaided Junior Colleges.
The DRO directed officials from the Medical Department to ensure the availability of medical kits at every examination centre, with ASHA workers and ANMs deployed as necessary. He emphasized the need for uninterrupted power supply at all exam centres during the examination period.
To facilitate students traveling from rural areas, DRO Ramu Naik instructed RTC officials to arrange adequate bus services. He also ordered the closure of photocopy (xerox) centres near examination venues during exam hours to prevent malpractices. Furthermore, Section 144 will be enforced in the vicinity of examination centres to maintain law and order.

CBSE Supplementary Examination 2025: LOC filing without late fee ends tomorrow
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will end the List of Candidates (LOC) submission without late fee for the Class 10 and 12 board examination, 2025 tomorrow, June 17. The deadline for LOC submission with a late fee is June 19. In a recent notification, the CBSE asked candidates not to wait for re-verification and re-evaluation results and to ensure the LOC is submitted within the given time. Also, all students who are eligible and intend to appear in the Supplementary Examination are advised not to wait for the result of the verification/reevaluation process and to ensure that LOC is submitted within the stipulated time frame,' the board said. Only those students whose names are submitted online will be allowed to appear for supplementary examinations, 2025. Schools can use their affiliation numbers as user IDs and the passwords to submit the LOC. Students who appeared for the Class 10, 12 board exams as regular students and whose results have been shown as compartmental need to visit their schools for sponsorship of their names for the supply exam. Schools are also required to connect such students and inform about the supplementary examination. DSC-2025: Exams begin, over 5 lakh to compete for 16,347 teacher posts
The Department of School Education has received more than 5 lakh applications for the DSC-2025 examination that began today and will end on June 30, 2025. Convenor of the Mega DSC-2025, M. Venkata Krishna Reddy, said: '16,347 teacher posts will be filled in government, local bodies, and schools run by welfare societies across the State through this recruitment drive. As many as 3,36,305 candidates have submitted 5,77,675 applications for various teaching positions, including school assistants (SA), secondary grade teachers (SGTs), school assistants (Physical Education), physical education teachers (PETs), principals, postgraduate teachers (PGTs), and trained graduate teachers (TGTs). The Computer-Based Test (CBT) will be conducted across 137 test centres in the state and 17 centres outside the state, including Hyderabad, Kodad, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Berhampur. To ensure transparency, the exams will be monitored through live CCTV surveillance, and candidates will undergo biometric verification. Section 144 of CrPC will be enforced around the exam venues to maintain law and order and prevent any possible malpractice. Elaborate arrangements made for mega DSC
Nellore: The district administration has made elaborate arrangements for the smooth conduct of mega district selection committee (DSC) examination, scheduled from June 6 to 30 in the district. As many as 31,221 candidates are going to write the exam in eight centers at Iyan Digital Zone at Pottepalem in Nellore rural mandal, Geethanjali Institute of Technology at Gangavaram village of Kovur mandal, PBR Visodaya Institute of Technology and Science, Ramireddy Subbareddy Engineering College in Kavali town, Narayana Engineering College in city, NBKR Institute of Science and Technology, NBKR Arts College in Vakadu mandal, Audi Sankara Engineering College near Gudur town.
