BINI makes US morning show debut on Fox 5's 'Good Morning New York'

BINI just made their US morning show debut!
The Nation's Girl Group appeared on 'Good Morning New York,' which airs on Fox 5.
The ladies were asked about what it was like performing at The Theater at Madison Square Garden for the NYC stop of their world tour.
'Just hearing those words, it felt surreal,' Jhoanna said. 'And we felt our supporters, their love, we just felt it online and now we get to feel it in person. So we're just really grateful.'
Aside from their concert, BINI also attended a Filipino parade.
'We had so much fun and we were able to see all the Filipinos here,' Mikha said.
'And seeing them very united, it's just very heartwarming. And I am just very proud to be a Pinoy and everyone I'm sure are too,' she added.
The anchors also asked about the meaning behind the name BINI, which they said comes from 'binibini.'
Jhoanna said, 'We hope to represent them, the modern Filipinas.'
The group's leader added, 'We are passionate for bringing the Filipino music to the world stage.'
Aiah then said they are 'just so excited for this whole tour because it's really our first.'
'Kinda scared too because it's our first but we just hope that we form Blooms all over,' she added.
Aside from their interview, BINI also performed their latest single 'Blink Twice.'
BINI's next stop for their world tour is Washington, DC on June 3 and then Illinois on June 6.
The group released their latest EP 'BINIVerse' in February which includes 'Cherry on Top,' 'Blink Twice,' and 'Zero Pressure.'

President Bongbong Marcos made another visit to the Philippine Pavilion at the World Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan. On Instagram, Marcos shared a series of photos from the event, where he was joined by First Lady Louise "Liza" Araneta-Marcos. The First Couple embarked on an immersive journey inside the pavilion, exploring the Philippines' rich heritage, biodiversity, and creativity through artificial intelligence (AI)-powered screens. "Visited the Philippine Pavilion once again to see our visitors and kababayans," Marcos wrote. "With over 349,000 guests so far, the world is seeing for themselves the many reasons to love the Philippines," he added. The Philippine Pavilion features the largest collaboration of Filipino weavers, with more than 200 handwoven panels created by master artisans from across the country. 'Superman' stars David Corenswet, Rachel Brosnahan admit pressure to live up to the hype

The 'Superman' leads admit they are feeling the pressure to live up to the hype of the iconic superhero's story. In Nelson Canlas' report on '24 Oras Weekend' on Saturday, Rachel Brosnahan, said it's her biggest challenge. 'I think it is kind of the constant pursuit of living up to the high bar that's been set for us by all the different versions of these characters that have lived before us,' she said. David Corenswet, the new Superman, added that director James Gunn and the rest of the cast and crew help alleviate the challenges on set. 'I think your focus goes to like, great, I want to show up for these people, I want to do good work for these people,' David said. David and Rachel also said that they also hope to come back to the Philippines as they do not have the time to explore. 'We've heard about the beaches,' David said. David and Rachel previously said they appreciate the love and support from Filipino fans. The two actors, plus director James and DC Studios co-CEO Peter Safran, visited Manila for the first stop of their promotion tour. 'Superman' opens in cinemas and IMAX on July 9. It establishes the iconic hero in the new DC Studios cinematic universe headed by Gunn and Safran. Abi Marquez was in for a delicious birthday treat! The content creator was given a birthday cake from the creator of the viral Dubai chocolate himself, Chef Nouel Catis. The viral treat is made from chocolate, pistachios, and pastries like kanafeh or kadayif. Abi shared photos of a cake slice and a whole cake with 'Happy Birthday Abi' written in chocolate piping. 'DUBAI CHOCOLATE Cake from the creator himself of the viral chocolate bar Chef Nouel Catis,' Abi said on Facebook. 'Ramdam mo yung quality ng ingredients,' she added. The best part? The cake is available at Khaiba at The Balmori Suites in Rockwell until July 13. Chef Nouel is the Dubai-based Filipino chef who is behind the viral chocolate. Abi, also known as the Lumpia Queen, won the Best Food Blogger award at the World Influencers and Bloggers Awards (WIBA) 2025 in Cannes, France in May.
