Demon Slayer: The legendary rival who nearly defeated Muzan

Time of India27-04-2025

In the world of
Demon Slayer
: Kimetsu no Yaiba,
Muzan Kibutsuji
is the ultimate terror a nearly immortal demon who commands overwhelming power, strength, and regenerative abilities. Yet, despite his terrifying might, there is one character whose strength matches his own:
Yoriichi Tsugikuni
. As
Tanjiro Kamado
embarks on his journey to defeat Muzan, it's revealed that no one, not even Tanjiro or the
Hashira
, could stand against Muzan alone except for the legendary Yoriichi.
The power of Muzan Kibutsuji: A force of nature
Muzan Kibutsuji is the progenitor of all demons, a being who has lived for centuries and become nearly invincible through his monstrous strength and regenerative powers. His ability to heal from almost any injury makes him a nearly indestructible force, and his power allows him to obliterate even the strongest Demon Slayers and Hashira without breaking a sweat. When Muzan faces multiple Hashira at once, his overwhelming dominance seems unbeatable. However, his eventual defeat wasn't simply due to a direct confrontation but a strategic weakening process, including Lady Tamayo's drug that aged Muzan and crippled his regenerative abilities. Even so, Muzan relentlessly pushed the
Demon Slayer Corps
to their limits, demonstrating just how terrifying his power truly is.
Yoriichi Tsugikuni: The only true rival to Muzan
Despite Muzan's unmatched power, there was one person who could rival him a name that still sends ripples through the demon world: Yoriichi Tsugikuni. Yoriichi was not only the most powerful Demon Slayer to ever exist, but he was also the creator of the
Breathing Styles
, the techniques that would define the future of the Demon Slayer Corps.
When Yoriichi faced Muzan in battle, he came dangerously close to ending the demon king's reign. Armed with his unrivaled swordsmanship and his deep understanding of Muzan's physiology, Yoriichi was able to strike all seven of Muzan's hearts and five brains in one precise, devastating attack. Muzan, despite his godlike abilities, was outmatched by Yoriichi's flawless technique. The battle left Muzan both physically scarred and psychologically broken. For centuries after, Muzan could not shake the fear of facing such a powerful foe again. The mere sight of Yoriichi's Hanafuda earrings was enough to send him into a panic, a haunting reminder of the one who almost defeated him.

The true power ceiling of Demon Slayer
Though Tanjiro and the Hashira are formidable in their own right, none of them can ever hope to reach the level of power held by Yoriichi and Muzan in their primes. Even as Tanjiro inherits Yoriichi's Sun Breathing and grows stronger through his journey, he never quite reaches the mastery that Yoriichi possessed. The true power ceiling of Demon Slayer was set long before Tanjiro's story began, with Yoriichi and Muzan far beyond any modern-day warrior.
Tanjiro's final battle against Muzan is only made possible through the combined strength of the entire Demon Slayer Corps and the tactical advantage provided by Lady Tamayo's drug. This illustrates just how far Tanjiro still has to grow in comparison to Yoriichi's legendary abilities.
Conclusion: Yoriichi's lasting legacy
In the end, while Tanjiro is the hero of Demon Slayer, it's clear that he is not the one capable of directly challenging Muzan. That honor belongs to Yoriichi Tsugikuni, the only warrior who ever truly stood as an equal to the Demon King. Yoriichi's legacy as the ultimate rival to Muzan endures long after his death, casting a shadow that no one in the Demon Slayer Corps can escape. His power shaped the very foundation of the Corps, and his influence echoes through every battle fought by Tanjiro and his companions. Yoriichi's unmatched strength remains a symbol of the true pinnacle of power in the Demon Slayer world.

Meghan Markle gets slammed for her 'too runny' jam; gets questioned about the ingredients

Meghan Markle , the Duchess of Sussex, recently launched her 'Summer Drop' with new products and restocks of her lifestyle brand, As Ever. The 43-year-old proudly endorsed her brand new apricot jam, only to get negative feedback just after a couple of hours of sale. Meghan Markle's jam is too... According to Daily Mail, the critics of the food industry aren't holding back when it comes to the actress' brand-new launch. Donna Collins, the champion who has won more than 40 jam-making competitions, called Markle's apricot jam - 'too runny' - and proceeded to insult further by calling the product - a fruit spread - which in the chef's terms is something that is a failure. 'It's a real disappointment that Meghan is selling a fruit spread, which is what you make when your jam fails. In the jam industry, a spread is what we call something that didn't work,' Collins said, before adding, 'It can have the best ingredients, but if I had a jam that was too runny, I'd slap a label on it and call it a spread. There's no excuse for this. It should be perfect.' Donna Collins questions the ingredients... Furthermore, Meghan's brand was further ripped apart when the jam champion asked about the ingredients used to make the summer product. Collins questioned, 'Why should she include conventionally grown apricots, which will have used pesticides?' 'And why is she using pectin, which is a gelling agent, unless it's because her spread was too runny? Most spreads don't use pectin,' she said. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Giao dịch CFD với công nghệ và tốc độ tốt hơn IC Markets Đăng ký Undo When Meghan launched her brand in April by introducing raspberry jam, the netizens trolled her for debuting something that is ill-suited for spreading on bread or a toast. As the excited fans tried to buy the products during the summer sale, they were disappointed to learn that the apricot jam had already sold out. "They really don't know what they are doing.' 'Her apricot spread sold out in minutes, just like her earlier raspberry spread, which may mean they only made a small batch,' Donna Collins said, and added, 'I don't know who's making her spread, but we all know it's not Meghan. It sounds like they really don't know what they are doing.'

'Sitaare Zameen Par' which released in cinemas on Friday, June 20, has surpassed expectations. The Aamir Khan starrer which also has Genelia D'souza was expected to begin on a single digit opening day number. However, it crossed Rs 10 crore on the first day. It was always expected to grow with word of mouth but it made double the number on Saturday, as compared to Friday. Sitaare Zameen Par Movie Review According to Sacnilk, the movie made Rs 10.7 crore on day 1. On the second day, it minted Rs 20.2 crore which was a growth of around 88.79 percent. Meanwhile, the Sunday number were even better as the film garnered Rs 27.25 crore. It's natural that the film will see some drop in numbers on Monday as it's a weekday. However, the early numbers till afternoon seem decent. 'Sitaare Zameen Par' made Rs 1.51 crore till Monday afternoon and the film's total collection so far now stands at Rs 59.66 crore. How it fares on Monday and all through the week will play an important role in knowing the film's fate at the box office. But looks like the film has now caught on really well with positive word of mouth and there's no looking back. It is doing better in multiplexes than single screens though which is expected from an Aamir movie and especially a film of this sort. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Ductless Air Conditioners Are Selling Like Crazy [See Why] Keep Cool Click Here Undo The good part is the that on day 1, the number came from bookings made for school, bulk bookings and discounted rates.
