'World-first' Abbey Road proposal inspires new song
A couple's proposal has inspired a new record. Christina Teenz Tan and Ron Danziger got engaged inside London's Abbey Road's Studio One in November 2021, while they were recording their co-written track Pie-in-the-Sky - will have their new song Timeless be performed by 2022 Britain's Got Talent star Tom Ball. Like Pie-in-the-Sky, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and London Voices Choir, conducted by Robert Zeigler, recorded with Tom for the single - which will be released on June 27. The song - which has won 40 international awards for excellence in music and artistic direction - celebrates the preciousness of a bond that transcends time, culture, and the human experience. It was composed by Danziger with lyrics by Tan, arranged by Manu Martin, directed by Susan Lim and co-produced by Lim and Martin. The track was mastered by Greg Calbi and Steve Fallone - two of the industry's most respected engineers with a combined 12 Grammy Awards, having worked with Tony Bennett, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, and more. Ron and Christina will walk down the aisle to 'Timeless' when they marry at the Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles on June 14. It will then be performed in St Giles Church, London on June 19 as part of the Summer Music in City Churches Festival. Ron, the composer, said: 'Timeless captures the essence of our story—one of deep connection across worlds of science and music. To celebrate our wedding with this piece feels like coming full circle.' Christina, the songwriter, added: 'Writing the lyrics to Timeless was a way of capturing how I saw our journey then. Hearing it now—fully realised with an orchestra, and sung on stage—it feels like our love set to music.' Jax Taylor quits social media 'to prioritise mental health'
Jax Taylor has quit social media in an effort to protect his mental health. The 45-year-old reality TV star - who previously confessed to battling a drug addiction - has announced that he's taking a break from social media platforms, as he focuses on his "mental health and recovery". Jax - who has Cruz, four, with Brittany Cartwright, his estranged wife - wrote on Instagram Story: "I've made the decision to stay off social media for the next while to prioritize my mental health and recovery. My team will be running it for the time being. (sic)" Jax confessed that certain posts on social media can be triggering. Speaking on 'In the Mind of Jax Taylor', he explained: "My brain is so fragile, and if I see certain things, they might trigger me. Something might hit a chord, and I don't think I'm strong enough to read certain things. "For me to grow and get better and be a better person, there are some things I need to see in order to know what's going on. But I think I took it so much to the extreme of blocking everything and living in my own little world." Jax feels he now needs to cut himself off from social media platforms. He said: "The phone has become a problem. Do I need to be on social media? No, I don't." Meanwhile, Jax previously admitted that he's been battling a cocaine addiction for more than 20 years. He said on the 'Hot Mic' podcast: "I have substance issues - primarily with cocaine. It's hard to say out loud. I've been dealing with this on and off since I was 23 and now I'm 45. "There was times where I would stop doing it but then there were times where I'd go heavy on it. "I just want to let people know this is a really, really tough disease and it's a really tough sickness." Brittany subsequently claimed that she spent years trying to help Jax to "get better". She said on 'When Reality Hits': "No one wants Jax to be better more than I do, let's be real. "I tried and tried and tried for years to help this man get better and for us to be a happy family, I was deeply and madly in love with him, there's no one that can ever deny that."

Elizabeth Banks' son doesn't think acting is worth the "effort". The 51-year-old actress - who has sons Felix, 14 and Magnus, 12, with her husband Max Handelman - revealed one of her boys recently had a role in a school production, but wasn't impressed with the return he got for the work he put in. She told E! News: "My son was recently in a school play and he said, 'That was a lot of effort for flowers and some applause!' "And I trust my husband. My husband — just being like, 'You got it.' ' She admitted it took the couple a while to find their footing as new parents. Recalling the early days of parenthood, she joked: "I was like, 'What do you mean you don't know how to swaddle yet? We're two months in and you can't swaddle this kid?' 'I literally started coming home and being like, 'The baby's alive. Great job.' My standard went to that. "I still hope I come home. I'm like, 'What'd you guys eat?' He's like, 'We went to In-N-Out.' I'm like, 'Great. Okay. Don't care.'' And she reflected on how her own mother - with whom she now has a good, loving relationship" - also worked while trying to raile a family. She said: "So really letting go of guilt. It's been huge for me. Really, truly, it's allowed me to just be at work and not be worried."
