Your horoscope for the week ending 22nd June predicts drama ahead
The week ahead is nothing short of dramatic, so don't do anything rash. Most importantly, stay in your lane. Mars in Leo squares off with Uranus in Taurus on 15th June, urging us to embrace our freedom and autonomy at any cost. Later in the day, Jupiter in Cancer shares an intense aspect with Saturn in Aries, pushing us to be assertive and domineering when it comes to the way others feel.
Mars rolls into Virgo on 17th June, giving us a chance to be practical and demure in the way we express ourselves. Jupiter and Neptune in Aries share a fraught connection, dissembling our dreams in place of realistic ones. The Summer Solstice coincides with the Sun's entrance into Cancer on 20th June, bringing the longest day of the year and beginning of a new season. The following day allows us to ignite our intentions for the next three months, when Mercury in Cancer and the Nodes of Destiny link up. We can begin to manifest our ideas and hopes for the next three months. Whoo-hoo!
You like to win, however, that does not mean you shouldn't take accountability for your actions in a bad situation, instead blaming someone else. Take a long, hard look in the mirror and understand that it takes two to tango. You're one of the rams taking the lead.
Some of the secrets you've been hiding are coming out. The skeletons are re-emerging, due to the fact that you've told different stories to various members of your squad. They'll be putting the pieces of the puzzle together and finding out the truth. Get ahead of the game and confess.
Your friend group is dwindling, but the quality of people who are remaining are worth their weight in gold. It's okay to let go of pals who aren't serving your best interests and not on the same level as you. TBH they're lowering your vibration, which is beginning to peak.
Even though you're killing it at work, there are issues with your boss. Upper management is still waiting to give you the raise you were promised, which is making your frustrations heighten. Before you go off, take a moment to calm down and send a firm, direct, and assertive email.
Consider this your moment to start planning a short spa holiday for one. Although you want to bring your crew with you, it's best to take some time to rejuvenate your senses alone. The truth is that you need some one-on-one time to decompress and unwind, like Eat, Pray, Love.
You might hit a bump in the road within your BFF when they hit you up to borrow money, which will make you uncomfortable saying 'yes' or 'no' to. Since they put you in an awkward situation, set terms that are realistic so no further issues occur in the friendship.
You are finding that your 'ship is distracting you from work obligations. Your partner requires more energy than you're prepared to give. They can do so after hours if they want to be extra and messy. They should know better than to bring the drama into your place of business.
You can't choose your family but they'll always be by your side through thick and thin, opposed to someone who is a friend that can split on a whim. Rather than give your brood a hard time by judging them, focus on the positives that they bring to the dynamic.
You don't have to answer to anyone, so when people question your actions, you should not give them a response. It's your life and up to you to make your own choices. If anyone has an issue, they should talk to your hand because you don't need to hear it.
Your financial problems are reaching a feverish pitch, making this week seem like you're out of control regarding your money situation. Hang tight, because a prosperous investment is coming your way that will help you get out of these circumstances and hopefully bring you financial success.
You're sussing out your frenemies one by one. At the moment, you may feel extremely upset and lost; however, you'll soon come to realise this is for the best. You don't need any negativity around you, especially from people whom you thought you could trust. Life's too short for fakeness.
You don't have to flex to prove you're a force to be reckoned with. Once people get to know you, they'll find the layer underneath your sensitive spirit is tougher than they know. Your resilience allows you to be the quick and agile fish who swims away from wacky energy.

Summer Solstice 2025 horoscopes for every zodiac sign
All hail the longest day of the year as the Summer Solstice arrives on Jun 20, 2025, at 10:42 p.m. As daylight edges out darkness, the world blooms, pollen drifts and fruit ripens, we look forward to warmth and welcome the onset of Cancer season. 'The ancient Sumerians began planting during the Summer Solstice — a time that symbolizes new beginnings, when nothing is yet defined and everything is coming into being. Summer Solstice 2025 Today, the Summer Solstice is a time when we plant the seeds of things we want to grow,' Polina Arutiunian, an astrologer at Nebula, a spiritual guidance platform, told The Post. Arutiunian sheds light on the areas of our lives primed to flourish under the zenith of our favorite death star. Read for your sun and rising sign. 12 KseniaKrop – 'You may find yourself focusing more on your emotional state and domestic life, Aries. This is the perfect time to make changes in your home, reframe relationships with family members, or even alter your living situation,' said Arutiunian. She told The Post the sun's standstill could dredge up long-buried fears, experiences, and emotions for Aries folk. Trust that whatever comes up is looking to change form — for the brighter and better. 12 KseniaKrop – For the bull brigade, the Summer Solstice lights up your third house of language, cognition, expression, and exchange. 'The Summer Solstice may highlight new beginnings in communication, Taurus. For some of you, this transit could bring up heartfelt conversations that will mark the start of a new cycle,' said Arutiunian. She advises Taurus folk to avoid arguments on this day — and focus instead on olive branches and peaceful bedrock. 12 KseniaKrop – Happy Solstice Gemini! The peaking sun shines a light on your second house of wealth and worth, encouraging you to bring your finances and the feelings they are tied to out of the dark. You're advised to avoid spending when you're feeling low or risking it all when you're feeling lucky. When you're trying to decide on the necessity of a bet or purchase, consider this Swedish proverb. 'He who buys what he does not need, steals from himself.' 12 KseniaKrop – Happy return of the sun to you, Cancer! 'The Summer Solstice is your time to shine. All your actions could lead to a new beginning for the next six months, so make sure you approach every precipice with confidence. It's a great time to start a new project, take on new work, or make a change to your appearance,' said Arutiunian. 12 KseniaKrop – The Summer Solstice lends light to your twelfth house of the unconscious, Leo — the domain of dreams, dissolution, and ghosts. 'This is truly a magical time for you. Hidden feelings and wishes may arise, possibly even from the past. It's time for deep self-reflection to separate your true desires from illusions,' said Arutiunian. She notes that big cats can get big downloads from their dreams during the days surrounding the Solstice. Pay mind to what catches light when you power down. 12 KseniaKrop – Ahoy, Virgo! The sun stands still and ingresses into Cancer, illuminating your tenth house of community. Your future is coming into focus and fruition. 'You have all the opportunities to start something new, especially in collaborative work projects, within your team, or in friendships. The most beneficial practice for you will be writing down all your plans for the next six months – this is your way to start a new cycle,' said Arutiunian. 12 KseniaKrop – 'The peak of the Sun's energy fills your 10th house, Libra. You might notice a new beginning in your career, public image, or even feel like your ambitions are growing,' said Arutiunian. 'This is the time to focus your forces on a work promotion, new job, or even an opportunity to move abroad — dream boldly and manifest broadly.' 12 KseniaKrop – Scorpions will feel a surge of exploratory energy in their ninth house of ideals and horizons. 'You might feel some fundamental changes in what you believe, even if those changes seem small at first, Scorpio. The Sun highlights the importance of higher education, your views, and values, and may even challenge them through emotional situations,' said Arutiunian. To paraphrase Denis Waitley, we don't find fulfillment in the pursuit of happiness — but in the happiness of pursuit. 12 KseniaKrop – Happy Solstice to you, Sagittarius. The sun is shining in your shadowy eighth house of sex, death, resources, and regeneration. 'This transit may shift your focus to what needs to change, especially in your business, work projects, or partnerships. Don't be afraid to invite deeper transformations,' said Arutiunian. To spur your metamorphosis, I offer you the words of Leon C. Megginson: 'It is not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change.' 12 KseniaKrop – Arutiunian says the Summer Solstice and the onset of Cancer season will deepen relationships for Capricorn folk. With the sun beaming into your seventh house of trusted partnership, you can magnetize what you want by acting like you deserve it fully and trust wholly that it is on its way to you. Whether you're looking to call in a partner or cement a commitment, now is the hour. 12 KseniaKrop – Happy solstice, Aquarius! The energy of the solstice encourages you to turn your attention to bodily health, daily routine, and habitual rituals. 'It's a good time to start a new discipline or system in your routine, or even take on a new responsibility, like caring for a pet,' said Arutiunian. Whatever you initiate on or around the solstice is imbued with the fire power of the sun at its peak, a solar boon that bolsters success. Get to it! 12 KseniaKrop – 'You may experience a beautiful new cycle forming in your life, Pisces, especially when it comes to love,' shared Arutiunian. 'It's a great time to start an artistic project, go public with a pursuit, or even begin planning for children if that's your wish.' Regardless of how creation takes form for you under the standstill sun, Pisces, you are poised for a bountiful ROI. Time to go back to class
Lifelong learning is booming, with informal lectures, classes and discussion series quickly gaining popularity. Whether it's literature, film or the history of plastic surgery, the topics are abundant and the in-person attendance is strong, The Cut reports this week. Online learners are turning to Substack communities, Zoom classes or even AI chatbots that can generate personalized syllabi. The big picture: We're seeing the rise of AI doing the critical thinking for us, despite its often generic output. Plus, we know learning new things is one of the most effective tools we have to stave off dementia in an aging population. Spending an evening marking up a syllabus, going deep on a topic or discussing Vladimir Nabokov's "Speak, Memory" might be the ultimate antidote for the perpetually online condition of brain rot, Hope Corrigan notes in The Cut. Zoom in: Lectures on Tap, based in New York, presents 45-minute talks from academics on topics like "Why People Cheat?" and "Summer Solstice and the Science of the Sun." Profs and Pints, which started in D.C., hosts lectures in bars on "The Great American Road Trip" and "The Physics of Baseball." Both are expanding. Lectures on Tap is coming soon to Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco, while Profs and Pints has expanded to multiple cities, including Dallas, Detroit, Nashville, Philadelphia and Richmond, according to its website. Bookstores can also double as sites for classes: I took a Details & Dialogue class earlier this year at D.C.'s Politics & Prose, which offers courses on history, writing, classics, poetry and more. You might even try a brewery: Common Roots Brewing Company in upstate New York has hosted lectures on topics like "Ticks and the Diseases They Carry" and "Wood Identification & Old House Myths." Washington Post journalist Karen Attiah's class at Columbia University on race and media was canceled last year. She has since created an independent version of the class and sought potential students via her newsletter and a Google Form with a sliding-scale payment system. "I hope that this can be a model for people to say, 'We can think outside of these structures, these institutions, that trade on prestige and are asking us to believe in their prestige, even as they're caving in on their own values that they use to market themselves," Attiah told Corrigan. Within 48 hours of posting, 500 people had reportedly signed up — with more than 2,000 on the waitlist.

Daily Horoscope for June 19, 2025
General Daily Insight for June 19, 2025 There is practically no such thing as boundaries today. We'll have no problem jumping to the heart of any matter at hand as the Moon in Aries sextiles Pluto in Aquarius first thing. The world will take on all the vibrancy and fragmented beauty of an Impressionist painting when enthusiastic Jupiter in Cancer squares illusory Neptune in Aries at 6:50 am EDT. With Mars in Virgo then making a quincunx to Saturn, also in Aries, it'll be difficult to settle on one distinct strategy. Aries March 21 – April 19 It isn't currently easy to know what to do with all your emotions. Your feelings are larger than life while boundless Jupiter is spinning along through your sensitive 4th house, even as its square to foggy Neptune in your headstrong sign could make it rather difficult to figure out how to express them. What feels like a big deal could blow over in just a little while, and you won't know why you got worked up in the first place. Avoid overreacting. Taurus April 20 – May 20 Your immediate vicinity may resemble a wonderland more than the regular landscape you know. Excitable Jupiter in your local community sector tangles with magical Neptune in your dreamy 12th house for a confusing square, so everything is a bit out of proportion at the moment. That said, your usual routine might lead you down rabbit holes when you least expect them. The resulting adventure should be quite thrilling, if a little lacking in productive or disciplined energy, but that hardly matters. Have fun! Gemini May 21 – June 20 An atmosphere of generosity is shimmering in the air. A mind-stretching square between Jupiter in your invested 2nd house and Neptune in your humanitarian 11th house could inspire you to give your time or resources to a worthy cause. This is all good in theory, but Neptune can obscure the truth. Be sure to do your research before you start making any contributions, because the last thing you want is to find out that the organization in question is less than noble after donating. Cancer June 21 – July 22 You have endless energy, but knowing how to channel it wisely is another matter entirely. Your enthusiasm is off the charts while lucky Jupiter is moving along through your sign, bestowing all its blessings upon you. Opposingly, Jupiter's square to Neptune in your ambitious 10th house can cast a veil over the clear path forward. You may have a dozen different ideas and aspirations, but you'll do better if you just focus on a few of them, rather than trapping yourself with too many choices. Leo July 23 – August 22 Your dreams can take you all the way over the rainbow! There is a rare square between Jupiter in your fantastical 12th house and Neptune in your adventurous 9th house, practically begging you to soar off to parts unknown like an untethered balloon. This likely sounds very exciting, and it can indeed bring a lot of pleasure to your life. Still, be careful about flying so far away that you have no idea where you've wound up or how to get back home again. Virgo August 23 – September 22 Shadows may seem to creep into even the brightest of moments today. You are ready to come together and enjoy life with others while Jupiter is dancing through your affable 11th house — at least until that enthusiastic planet trips over mysterious Neptune in your secretive 8th house. This stumble could add a layer of fog to everything. Watch out for the temptation to read between the lines, because you might find some scandalous notions there, only to realize they aren't founded in reality. Libra September 23 – October 22 People may mean well, but that doesn't mean they are entirely reliable. You want to accomplish a lot and make a name for yourself while Jupiter is in your 10th House of Career, yet its square to illusory Neptune in your 7th House of Alignments will make it difficult to know who you can count on for a boost. Someone may promise you the stars, but being able to deliver them is another matter altogether. Self-sufficiency is very important right now. Scorpio October 23 – November 21 Reality is for the birds. The temptation to leave your usual responsibilities on the back burner will be strong while Jupiter in your outstretched 9th house pokes Neptune in your routine 6th house. They're supplying the inspiration to search for something new and exciting. That is all well and good — go ahead and explore something that fascinates you. Just remember that Neptune's haziness will make it easy to miss something important, so keep your senses alert even while on your whirlwind adventure. Sagittarius November 22 – December 21 It isn't always easy to know where to seek pleasure. You may feel pulled all over the place in your search for satisfaction as Jupiter in your intimate 8th house squares Neptune in your freewheeling 5th house. One moment you want to keep your circle small and your actions private, the next you want to find the cosmic spotlight and let everyone know exactly what you're all about. Ask yourself if there is any reason that you can't keep some things subtle while declaring others. Capricorn December 22 – January 19 Let people into your life. Jupiter in your relationship sector is bringing plenty of positive people your way, who all have their own ideas and opportunities to offer. With Jupiter squaring Neptune in your emotional sector, you'll probably be more than happy to let them in without question. On the other hand, Neptune can blur boundaries, so make sure you aren't letting someone take up more space than necessary or giving away more of yourself than is wise for your life in the long run. Aquarius January 20 – February 18 Today may fly by like a whirlwind. There is a potent square between Jupiter in your can-do 6th house and Neptune in your wordy 3rd house. Their debate could leave you feeling like you're in the midst of a tennis match, with the ball bouncing back and forth at the speed of light. Instead of trying to keep your eye on the ball, give yourself permission to sit back and enjoy the show. It won't be easy to play the game properly right now. Pisces February 19 – March 20 Be wary of throwing your money around. You have every right to enjoy yourself while fun-loving Jupiter is dancing along through your 5th House of Happiness, but its square to Neptune in your 2nd House of Income could make it seem like you need to spend more than usual to make it happen. It will be easy to get caught up in the general excitement, but stick to a budget, or you could regret your actions when the fun parade finally moves on.
