Reese Witherspoon looked nothing short of sensational as she announced Sunnie, a Gen Z-focused spin-off of her Hello Sunshine label, at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity on Wednesday.
The American actress, 49, put on a leggy display in a chic white mini dress, featuring short puffed sleeves, a scoop neckline, a figure-hugging design, and exposed stitch detailing.
Flaunting her long, toned pins, Reese added inches to her frame with a pair of white stiletto heels, which featured a large buckle fastening.
On stage, Reese described Sunnie as a 'celebration' of young women's creativity, curiosity and agency.
She said: 'It's been a dream of mine to build a space where young women can be the truest version of themselves,
'We've discovered that young women are not defined by doom and gloom as they're often portrayed in media – they're complex, creative individuals with incredible agency.
The American actress, 49, put on a leggy display in a chic white mini dress, featuring short puffed sleeves, a scoop neckline, a figure-hugging design, and exposed stitch detailing
'Sunnie will be a celebration of that spirit, giving them the tools and community to navigate life's challenges while embracing their authentic selves.'
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the multi-platform brand will feature collaborations with such Gen Z creators and celebrities as YouTuber Lana Condor, Canadian high diver and social media personality Molly Carlson, and Young Sheldon actress Raegan Revord.
The group announced strategic alliances with organizations including AnitaB.org, Child Mind Institute, IF/THEN Initiative, and Purdue University, which will serve as the brand's official university partner.
The Sunnie ecosystem will span social content, digital zines, book clubs, custom curriculum, and real-world events.
Maureen Polo, head of direct-to-consumer at Hello Sunshine said: 'Young women – despite the many pressures they face – are intentionally creating space for joy,
'They're writing their own stories, setting boundaries, finding community, and embracing both digital and real-world connections on their terms.
'And yet, 75 percent say advertising rarely reflects how they actually talk, dress, or act — a clear signal that the industry still isn't truly seeing them.
'Sunnie will support and amplify these efforts, providing content, curriculum, and experiences that resonate with how they actually live their lives, not how adults assume they do.'
Hello Sunshine was launched in 2016 by Reese and Sarah Harden and has produced TV series such as Big Little Lies and The Morning Show.
It was acquired by Kevin Mayer and Tom Staggs' Candle Media in 2021, according to the publication.

Georgia Kousoulou and Tommy Mallet tie the knot for the second time in stunning outdoor ceremony in Majorca as they say 'I do' on her 34th birthday - nearly two years after low-key union

Georgia Kousoulou and Tommy Mallet have tied the knot for the second time in a lavish ceremony in Majorca. The TOWIE star, 34, took to her Instagram page on Saturday to share the jovial news with her followers, posting two stunning photographs from their big day. The couple tied the knot in an outdoor ceremony in the picture-perfect destination on Friday, June 20 - which also happened to be Georgia's 34th birthday in a special touch. It is the second time they have said 'I do' as they officially got married in a low-key ceremony in December 2023, before celebrating again in a larger, destination wedding this week. For the nuptials, Georgia stunned in a gorgeous white lace gown with a thigh-high side split, which she styled with strapped stiletto heels. She fixed a dramatic train in her golden tresses as she cuddled up to Tommy, 33, who cut a dapper figure in a beige suit. The couple were joined by their young children, Brody, four, and Gigi, seven months as well as their friends and family, including Chloe Ross. In a caption, Georgia gushed over her 'dream wedding' after almost two years of waiting for their big day after their first nuptials. She also teased that fans would soon be able to watch the entire ceremony as they plan to share a video of the day. She gushed: '20.06.2025. Our Dream wedding finally happened. Best day of our lives. Surrounded by so much love. 'Can not wait to get all of our pictures & videos back to show you how incredible it was & you'll be able to watch it all.' The couple's first official wedding in December 2023 was a much more low-key affair and ended with a humble Chinese takeaway. Georgia told The Sun about the nuptials at the time: 'We came back to mine and had a Chinese. It was unreal. It is so me and Tommy. 'I literally got back, got my PJs on straight away and we had a Chinese. 'The best bit about it was that we hired tables. So we had a top table…And we all just stuffed our faces with Chinese … it was actually brilliant. So good.' The happy couple's romance blossomed in 2014 when Tommy became a TOWIE cast member. Georgia and Tommy met a few months before filming TOWIE at the gym, with Tommy experiencing an instant attraction to his now wife. After going from strength to strength over the next six years, they revealed they were expecting their first child in December 2020. Tommy wrote at the time that his life felt 'complete' and they went on to welcome a son, Brody Fordham, in May 2021. Then, in 2022, Tommy finally popped the question in Mexico, preparing a lavish beach surprise with rose petals and candles. The couple, who famously enjoyed an early date at a pie and mash shop, announced that they were engaged in February of that year before making it official the following December. Their family then grew to four when they welcomed their second child, a baby girl, Gigi Fordham, in November 2024. Gigi's birth came after they bravely opened up about experiencing a miscarriage and undergoing IVF as they attempted to grow their family Gigi's birth came after they bravely opened up about experiencing a miscarriage and undergoing IVF as they attempted to grow their family. Now a mum-of-two, Georgia's happiness was clear for all to see when she danced in Ibiza at Wayne Lineker's O Club for her hen party in May. The star poked fun at the end of her single days by having her and her girlfriends dress in black. Georgia previously kept the location of her much-anticipated destination wedding a secret, teasing: 'Everyone already knows it's in Majorca, but I won't reveal exactly where, I want it to be a surprise! 'I want everyone to be like: "Oh, my God!" when they see it. I'm about to up the game. I just hope everyone loves it'.' Georgia stressed that the wedding was very much the product of her own imagination and her husband had minimal involvement. She told OK!: 'I ask him for his opinions, but honestly, I don't want him to get involved. It's my thing. I want him to be shocked, like, "Wow, this is amazing!"'.

I tried Gen Z's new favourite pre-drink that's only £2.99 from Aldi

Metro journalists select and curate the products that feature on our site. If you make a purchase via links on this page we will earn commission – learn more If you haven't heard of BuzzBallz, you might want to lift up that cocktail umbrella you've been living under. These vibrant boozy balls have gone more viral than videos of cats with Hitler moustaches back in the day. My TikTok FYP is groaning under the weight of posts featuring people tasting, collecting and ranking their favourite flavours, while discarded neon-coloured plastic spheres litter the pavements outside off-licences like forgotten memory orbs in the Disney movie, Inside Out. Why are they causing such a stir? Like the recent Labubu craze, they feature the perfect storm of cutesy, eye-catching packaging. But instead of a little monster with spiky teeth, in this instance it disguises some fairly potent pours, containing between 13.5 and 15% ABV. Factor in that the spherical cocktails have the convenience of nesting in the palm of your drinking hand and there's a ring pull for dangerously easy access and it's not hard to work out why they've become Gen Z's go-to pre-drink. The other main draw is that they're cheap – costing just £2.99 each if you buy them from Aldi. Elsewhere they're a little pricier at £3.95 from Sainsbury's and £4 at Tesco. Pretty much every corner shop stocks them too, but be warned you might find yourself paying as much as £5 per ball, depending where you buy them from. I will say, for something so ubiquitous, they were almost impossible to get hold of for a taste test. For the last month, every off-licence I've visited has told me they'd 'recently run out' and the nearest Aldi had fully sold out too. I'm beginning to think they withhold them from people over 40, ahem I mean, 35. When you do eventually manage to get hold of them, they come in a decent range of flavours, from Choc Tease, Chili Mango, Lotta Colada, Espresso Martini, Tequila Rita and Strawberry Rita. There's also a Pornstar Martini, but alas, it's so popular we couldn't get hold of one. So, the obvious next step is for me to try the drink that's lured the famously dry Gen Z crowd into profligate ways. I've been warned about the sugar content of these deceptively punchy little globes, ranging from 11.7 to 30g per serving. Given the NHS recommends no more than 30g of sugar per day, it's goodbye wellness and hello tooth decay, blood sugar issues, energy spikes and crashes, oh and weight gain. The things I do for Metro readers. Here they are, in order of preference, and remember to shake them well before opening… A pretty decent Piña Colada, actually, and I'm not even a fan of the cocktail. Creamy and tropical with a generous thwack of alcohol to offset any coconut-cream-pineapple soupiness Not a bad expression of the classic cocktail on the tin, with an intriguing smoky, bonfire note that makes it a bit different. Chocolatey, smooth, sweet and creamy. Can't complain, but isn't it really just Bailey's? Sweet and creamy, like a boozy Solero ice cream (more generic tropical fruit than overtly mango) with a decent kick of chili heat that really comes through You can actually taste the tequila here, a novelty for an RTD cocktail in my experience (MOTH excluded). Think a very sweet Margarita and you're in the right ballpark. View More » Strawberry slushy-flavoured (or Mr Frosty, remember those?). Very candied and artificial-tasting, though its evident booze content salvages it slightly. Opening up your eyes, it's been formulated to shape, enhance and define, helping to diminish the appearance of fine lines and making eyes 'pop'. Makeup founder Tricia Cusden created Look Fabulous Forever after finding it increasingly difficult to find makeup that really worked on older skin. As we get older, our skin produces less collagen and elastin, which means we need to re-think our makeup choices. And a key tip from the makeup artist? Matte eye shadow. The delicate skin on our eyelids develops fine lines and wrinkles as we age, so the secret to great-looking eye makeup is choosing an eyeshadow that goes on smoothly and blends well. Enter the No Shimmer Eye Shade Trio Refillable Compact Set. A brand bestseller, the No Shimmer Eye Shade has won over scores of shoppers thanks to its buildable formula that puts you in control of the intensity, from a subtle wash of colour to a bold look. And now it comes in three helpful shades in one compact kit. 'At last, a matte eye shadow!' raved one Look Fabulous Forever shopper. 'This is a gorgeous shade of eye shadow without any glitter at all. It goes on smoothly and blends easily. It lasts all day. Love it.' Very nice I will certainly be buying more.' A third penned: 'I'm just thrilled with the results. These soft purples really make my hazel eyes 'pop' and I've had compliments galore!'.
