
Now everyone can get lobster corn dogs topped with caviar at BottleRock 2025
For the first time in BottleRock Napa Valley history, the famous lobster corn dog topped with caviar is available to all festivalgoers.
The corn dog, a bougie BottleRock staple from Napa Valley's Michelin-starred Press Restaurant for the past three years, was previously exclusive to the VIP Culinary Garden. But this year, the team decided to have booths in both VIP and general admission areas. Attendees need to look no further than the giant 'Lobster Caviar Corn Dog' sign to get their hands on the $32 treat, which is being served by Under-study, Press' sister cafe that opens on Memorial Day in Saint Helena.
'The requests were overwhelming. Everybody last year was like, 'What is this thing? Where do I get it and how do I get it?,' said Justin Williams, Press and Under-study's director of operations.
He added that the team was bombarded with requests for the corn dog from people who didn't have VIP wristbands and received countless messages on Instagram. They also noticed 'people were taking a box of them to their friends in GA.'
Last year, the booth sold just under 2,000 corn dogs throughout the three-day festival. This year, with two booths, Williams said they expect to sell 5,000.
His team has been working tirelessly for a week-and-a-half on prep, as they made all of the ingredients (outside of the caviar) from scratch. The filling, consisting of fish mousse, chopped lobster and herbs, is battered, fried and then topped with a remoulade and caviar.
The price has gone up $6 since its 2023 debut.
In addition to the corn dog, Under-study is selling truffle fries ($19), a pretzel with smoked onion mustard ($15) and a soft serve sundae with strawberries and chocolate sauce ($15).

As she experiences flashbacks, Riya starts to consider that perhaps she had something to do with her team's demise. Echo Valley (2025) Julianne Moore and Sydney Sweeney star in Echo Valley, Apple TV+'s thriller ripped directly from the '90s. Written by Mare of Easttown's Brad Ingelsby, Echo Valley introduces Kate Garrett (Moore), a horse trainer on her farm in Pennsylvania. Kate's life is in shambles after the loss of her wife, which affects her ability to pay the bills and keep the farm running. Kate's daughter, Claire (Sydney Sweeney), mistakenly throws a heroin stash in the river, leading to an explosive confrontation with the drug dealer on the farm. A few nights later, Claire shows up covered in the blood of her boyfriend. Kate now tackles the question faced by many parents: How far are you willing to go to protect your child? Stream Echo Valley on Apple TV+. Dangerous Animals (2025) It's fitting that a new shark movie comes in the same month that Jaws celebrates its 50th anniversary. While a great white shark plays the villain in Jaws, a serial killer becomes the primary antagonist in Dangerous Animals. Tucker (Jai Courtney) runs a cage diving business, recruiting tourists to swim with sharks. Yet Tucker has a dark secret — he feeds his passengers to the sharks and films their deaths. For his next victim, Tucker kidnaps the rebellious surfer Zephyr (Hassie Harrison) and shackles her on his boat. Zephyr won't go down without a fight, which surprisingly excites the eccentric Tucker. Courtney lets it all go to play this flamboyant serial killer, while Harrison's star-making performance shines in this effective summer thriller. Dangerous Animals is now in theaters.

Overlooking the town's busy working harbour, this intimate, wood-clad restaurant features contemporary interiors and a relaxed outdoor terrace. Owned by Richard Adams, a local, the restaurant honours Newlyn's rich fishing heritage with a daily-changing menu that's shaped by chef Angus Powell around the morning's catch. Sharing plates, including grilled piri piri monkfish, hand-dived scallops and smoked whiting roe flatbread, are served with chips or salad and a range of natural wines. Adding to the experience for diners, Angus can often be spotted heading down to the quay to collect fish straight off the boat — a fantastic way to see just how fresh the ingredients are. To accompany your meal, organic wines are poured from taps behind the bar. Since opening in 2021, Argoe has earned a Michelin Guide mention — a status reflected in the premium pricing, with grilled fish typically costing around £43 and chips available as a £6 side. The museum café-bakery-marketplace still doesn't have its seating sorted out, but until then visitors can eat their expertly laminated danishes and sweet and sour pig ears on the adjacent patio at sister restaurant Press. You should definitely get both, and be sure to tack on the heirloom tomato ($14) as well. On the menu, it's described as coming with 'preserved plum, toasted sourdough,' but this is no toast. Expect instead an intensely flavorful sculptural salad with precariously stacked tomato and plum segments, tweezered herbs and lacy sourdough crisps. Under-study. 595 St. Helena Hwy., St. Helena. Dafna Kory, the pectin whisperer behind East Bay company INNA Jam, will be shuttering her company in September after preserving the best of summer's figs, berries and stone fruit. INNA is best known for its jams and chutneys, but I recently took home a bottle of its Albion strawberry shrub ($16.95), a vibrant drinking vinegar that can be mixed with seltzer (and the spirit of your choice, if you're inclined). I'll be stocking up on a few more bottles while I still can. You can find INNA products at various local retailers including Bi-Rite Markets and Epicurean Trader locations and, of course, online. Respect the palate cleanser! Whether it's bites of pickled ginger at a sushi counter or sips of Pink Champ, a tart soda specifically developed to reset your taste buds between licks of ice cream, professional eaters need moments of brightness and pause. My favorite course at San Francisco's two-Michelin-star Birdsong was a palate cleanser (part of a $325 tasting menu), but also so much more. Its melange of fresh flavors (ginger, chamomile, lemon) and textures (shaved ice, marmalade, tapioca, sorbet), together with the zing of Meyer lemon zested tableside, slapped me in the face like Cher in 'Moonstruck,' prepping me for the final dessert courses ahead.
