Patna (Bihar) [India], June 20 (ANI): Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Yadav on Friday slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi ahead of his Saran visit. The former Bihar Deputy CM alleged that PM Modi has broken all the norms of 'misleading' people by addressing more than 200 rallies in Bihar, which were full of 'lies'.
In his edited post on X, Tejashwi Yadav urged PM Modi to analyse his speeches and said that he wouldn't be able to speak after it due to 'embarrassment'.
The RJD leader asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his Saran visit whether he would lay the foundation and inaugurate projects that have been underway since 2015.

He queried PM Modi whether he could explain why Bihar is the 'worst' state in terms of poverty, unemployment, per capita income, investment, literacy rate, and industrialization in the reports of NITI Aayog and the Government of India, despite 11 years of PM Modi's government in the centre and 20 years of NDA rule in Bihar.
Tejashwi Yadav asked whether PM Modi would explain why 65000 innocent people were killed in the 20 years of NDA rule. He further took a jibe at the Prime Minister and said whether he would felicitate the members of 'National Daamad Aayog'.
He asked whether Modi would speak about the 'unconscious state' of Bihar CM Nitish Kumar in the same way he once spoke of Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik, and whether the PM would honour those nominated by allies as 'sons-in-law of JP.'
Tejashwi Yadav alleged that more than 20 scams and 20 lakh crore have been looted in the 20 years of NDA rule in Bihar. The Bihar legislative assembly leader of the opposition has accused the state government of harassing government employees to bring crowds to their rallies at their own expense.
Tejashwi Yadav asked PM Modi why the 'brave' and 'valiant' soldiers of the Indian Army, who were eager to teach a 'tough' lesson to the terrorists during Operation Sindoor, were stopped due to the 'cessation of hostilities' agreement between India and Pakistan because of US President Donald Trump.
Meanwhile, PM Modi will embark on a two-day visit, beginning with Bihar and Odisha today and then Andhra Pradesh.Today, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate multiple development projects at Siwan, a major boost to infrastructure and socio-economic development in Bihar. Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday congratulated Mohan Charan Manjhi-led government and the people of Odisha on the completion of one year of BJP government in the state and explained how the new dispensation ushered in a new era of growth, unlike previous regimes which ignored the residents and focused only on enriching themselves. PM Modi, addressing the public gathering after a grand roadshow to mark first anniversary of the BJP government, said that the double-engine government was bringing double benefits to the coastal state and also elaborated on two key Central schemes - brought with the primary objective of improving the living standards of tribal population. 'June 20 is a very special day. Today, the first BJP government in Odisha has successfully completed one year. This anniversary is not just of the government; it is the anniversary of the establishment of good governance. This one year is dedicated to public service and public trust. PM Modi also spoke about his Canada visit for G-7 Summit and said that he chose Odisha over America. 'When I was in Canada, I received a call from President Trump. I declined his invite and told him that it was important for me to visit the sacred land of Odisha and pay obeisance to Lord Jagannath,' PM Modi told the crowd, eliciting loud cheers. Elaborating on the double benefits under the double-engine government, PM Modi said: 'People of the state were long deprived of many health schemes --- today they are availing benefits of Ayushman Bharat Yojana as well as Jan Aarogya Yojana. More than 23 lakh senior citizens above the age of 70 years, they are also drawing benefits under Ayushman Vay Vandana Yojana.' PM Modi said that the nation has seen the Congress model for years, which offered nothing other than corruption, policy paralysis, the sprouting of middlemen but in BJP-ruled states, a new model of growth took shape, which is oriented towards public welfare. He also cited the model of Assam and Tripura, elucidating how the two states suffered during previous regimes but their fate and growth prospects changed after the BJP came to power there. PM Modi further said that prior to 2014, tribal communities neither got development nor participation in governance. The country had more than 125 tribal areas, all affected by the Maoist violence but instead of finding a solution, previous governments only sought to discredit them by labelling them as 'Maoist-affected'. PM Modi vowed to defeat LWE and said that hopes and dreams of tribal population will be brought to fruition. Lalu Yadav, Tejashwi hit back at PM Modi, demand 20-year report card of NDA govt
Patna: After Prime Minister Narendra Modi criticised the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and the Congress over alleged "jungle raj", "corruption", and "dynastic politics" during his rally at Bihar's Siwan on Friday, the RJD leadership launched a sharp counterattack, questioning the Prime Minister's own legacy and the performance of the double-engine government in the state. Lalu Prasad Yadav took a swipe at the Prime Minister with a sarcastic weather warning posted on social media platform X. Sharing an AI-generated video mocking PM Modi and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, the RJD supremo wrote: "Weather warning in the interest of Bihar -- Today there is a heavy rain of lies, slogans and confusion in Bihar, hailstorms of false and tempting promises are also falling with thunder. Be careful." Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav also took to social media to issue a pointed rebuttal, challenging the Prime Minister to present a 20-year report card of the NDA's governance in Bihar and his own leadership at the Centre. He posted a graphic with the headline: "PM Modi, give an answer in the election tour of Bihar and a full account of 20 years." Accompanying the poster, he tweeted: "Sir, don't lie, give the account of 20 years." "Lalu Yadav established JP University and three major railway factories, including the Marhaura rail engine factory that is now exporting locomotives abroad?" he said. Tejashwi also said: "Will you tell the people of Bihar that during your 20 years of rule, more than one lakh people have been murdered, and over one lakh girls raped? Will you be ashamed to call this your achievement or ignore it as usual?" He also asked why poverty, unemployment, rampant crime, crime against women, corruption, migration, 'Damadvaad' (Brother-in-law) and other issues are still taking place in Bihar. He even compared Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's current condition to past criticisms by PM Modi. Friday marked PM Modi's fifth visit to Bihar in 2025, where he inaugurated and laid foundation stones for projects worth Rs 5,736 crore in Siwan. With Bihar Assembly elections scheduled for later this year, national political activity in the state has surged.
