(The Embassy strongly advises all Filipinos in Israel to remain inside their homes and be prepared to seek a shelter, safe room, or evacuation center should there be a missile alert.)
'Sundan ang mga IDF security guidelines, safety advisories ng Embahada, at balita sa mga mapagkakatiwalaang news outlets,' it added.

US strikes ‘obliterated' Iran's nuclear ambitions, Pentagon chief says
US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Air Force General Dan Caine take questions from the media during a briefing at the Pentagon, after the US struck Iranian nuclear facilities, in Arlington, Virginia, June 22, 2025 in this still image taken from video. Reuters TV/ US Department of Defense/ Handout via REUTERS WASHINGTON — US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said on Sunday that US military strikes against Iranian nuclear facilities were an incredible and overwhelming success that have obliterated Tehran's nuclear ambitions. The US strikes included 14 bunker-buster bombs, more than two dozen Tomahawk missiles and over 125 military aircraft, in an operation the top US general, General Dan Caine, said was named "Operation Midnight." The operation pushes the Middle East to the brink of a major new conflagration in a region already aflame for more than 20 months with wars in Gaza and Lebanon and a toppled dictator in Syria. "Iran's nuclear ambitions have been obliterated," Hegseth told reporters in a briefing, adding that said the strikes did not target Iranian troops or people. "The operation President Trump planned was bold and it was brilliant, showing the world that American deterrence is back. When this president speaks, the world should listen," Hegseth said. — Reuters

The Embassy added that it arranged for the travelers' transportation, transit visas, travel documents, and plane tickets. Before they left, it added, the Filipinos stayed at the Department of Migrant Workers' (DMW) shelter, where they received relief packages and availed of free legal services regarding their benefits. They were also briefed on their reintegration benefits upon their return to the Philippines. The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) earlier said that the Filipinos expected to return from Israel this week will be composed of 26 overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and one tourist. The embassy added that 33 Filipinos making up the second batch of voluntary repatriations are currently being processed. Israel launched several airstrikes on Iran on June 13, claiming that the Islamic Republic was on the verge of developing a nuclear weapon. Iran retaliated, striking several airstrikes against Israel. On Sunday, the US bombed three nuclear sites in Iran. Iran denies seeking nuclear weapons and has pointed to its right to nuclear technology for peaceful purposes, including enrichment, as a party to the international Non-Proliferation Treaty. Israel, which is not a party to the NPT, is the only country in the Middle East believed to have nuclear weapons. The country does not deny nor confirm that. — BM, GMA Integrated News
