Lucknow: State govt is championing inclusive education by providing nearly 2.96 lakh children with special needs with 'Sugamya' worksheets. Developed in collaboration with Unicef, the initiative aims to enhance foundational learning while fostering confidence and self-esteem.
Basic education minister Sandeep Singh said Sugamya worksheets would ensure equal educational opportunities for children with disabilities in a significant step toward building an inclusive and empathetic society.
Covering Hindi and mathematics for students from classes 1 to 8, the initiative includes 1,900 worksheets designed for various categories of children with disabilities (excluding those with complete visual impairment). The worksheets are in simple language and carry vibrant visuals and engaging formats to make learning accessible and enjoyable.

Kollam, Jun 22 (UNI) The TB Elimination and AIDS Prevention Control Committee has emphasised on the need to expand awareness initiatives and conduct more camps for eliminating these two serious illnesses. The decision regarding this was taken by the Committee under the chairmanship of District Collector N. Devadas. Steps have been taken to intensify tuberculosis and AIDS eradication efforts in this district of Kerala. TB diagnostic camps will be organized in areas where a high number of migrant workers reside. Individuals with more serious respiratory issues will be referred for expert treatment. If required, isolation centers will be considered for treating such patients. With the support of local self-government institutions, nutritious food kits will be distributed to patients. Special camps were conducted in the coastal region from Paravur to Azhikode, and awareness stickers were affixed on hundreds of boats. Awareness messages were disseminated not only in Malayalam but also in Tamil and Hindi. AIDS awareness among youth will continue with the cooperation of various government departments. UNI DS RKM

The registrations for the National Teachers Eligibility Test 2025 (NTET 2025) are underway for Postgraduates of the Indian System of Medicine and Homeopathy 2025. Eligible applicants can submit their forms on the official website till June 23, 2025. The correction window will open from June 25 to 27, 2025. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on July 17, 2025, for 120 minutes. The medium of the question paper shall be in English and Hindi only. The shall be 100 questions of one mark each.
