Early Prime Day Lego sale at Amazon — 15 deals I'd shop from $7 on Botanicals, Lego Star Wars and more
Prime Day is on the way! However, you don't need to wait any longer to make massive savings on Lego sets. A bunch of awesome Lego deals have popped up at Amazon ahead of the start of the retailer's big summer sales event, so act fast before they sell out.
For starters, I have to shout out this Animal Crossing Lego deal. Right now you can get the K.K.'s Concert in The Plaza set on sale for $34 at Amazon. This is a massive 56% off, and savings this big don't come around too often. And since it features the iconic Resident Services building from the Animal Crossing game, it's a must have for fans.
Or, if you're on a smaller budget, you can snag these Lego Sunflowers on sale for just $7 at Amazon.
My favorite Lego deals are listed below. For more savings, check out our Amazon promo codes, and see the best deals in Home Depot's 4th of July sale.
Add a little sunshine to your day with these pretty Lego sunflowers. This simple build is excellent for anyone of any age or skill level. Plus, you can display them however you like in a vase or amongst real blooms.
Was regular Superman not mech enough for you? Well, this Lego set gives the hero an upgrade. You get minifigures of Superman and Lex Luthor, as well as a 4.5-inch tall poseable mech for Superman to pilot.
These Lego Roses really brighten up a living space, and they make for an excellent gift. The set comes with 120 pieces, and is relatively simple to build. What's more, these roses will never wilt!
Lego Botanicals sets are super popular, but if your kiddo isn't quite old enough for them yet, this is the Lego deal you need. Suitable for ages two and up, this cute garden build comes with flowers, bees and other critters. There are also blocks marked one to five, to help teach counting.
Nothing's more important than family... or this Lego Speed Champions Fast and Furious set. Based on the Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34) that appeared in the movie 2 Fast 2 Furious, this set looks slick and it even comes with a Brian O'Conner minifigure.
Every good villain needs a getaway car, so you'll want to add this Venom Muscle Car set to your Lego collection. As well as minifigures of Venom, Spider-Man and Spider-Woman, you get to build Venom's cool black car, and a mini bank vault full of gold bars.
With this beginner-friendly 282-piece StarFighter set, young padawans can relive "Attack of the Clones" scenes. It comes with Obi-Wan Kenobi and Taun We minifigures, plus an R4-P17 LEGO astromech droid figure.
This deal gets you a set of six mini F1 race cars, complete with logos and turning wheels. Just note that they're sold in a blind box format, so you may get repeats.
Take your minifigures on a tour of Lego City with this double-decker sightseeing bus set. The bus has doors that open and close and space for the minifigs to sit inside or on the roof deck.
Terrify and amaze all visitors with this Lego Jurassic World Dinosaur Fossils T. Rex Skull! This set comes with 577 pieces, allowing you to build a T. Rex Skull, footprint and an information plate. It's perfect for dinosaur lovers aged nine and up.
This super-cute Lego set is a must have for Animal Crossing fans. It comes with the resident services building, a small tea set as well as the legendary guitarist K.K. Slider and his van. You also get minifigures of Isabelle and Audie.
Rather than a diverse bouquet, this Lego Icons Orchid represents a blossoming orchid plant. It's filled with realistic details, including two budding orchid flowers to join the six fully blossomed ones. This is a beautiful display piece and an excellent gift.
This Lego Icons Flower Bouquet features 15 unique stems with several different flower varieties. You could separate them, or leave them bunched up a beautiful bouquet that doubles as home decor.
This is the way. The Lego Star Wars The Mandalorian Helmet plays an iconic role in the Disney Plus series, and now you can build a 584-piece replica at home. Get it while it's on sale now during Star Wars Day festivities.
If you're a cat lover, this Lego Ideas Tuxedo Cat set is a must-own. Once built, it comes in a cute sitting pose, and has options for different eye colors and mouth positions. Just make sure your real cat doesn't knock it off your shelf.

Forget JBL, Amazon Fire TV 3.1-channel Soundbar With Subwoofer Drops to Its Lowest Price for a Limited Time
Whether your main TV is in your living room, bedroom, basement, or dedicated home theater, you should seriously consider hooking up a soundbar. Don't underestimate just how important audio is when it comes to immersive viewing. A really good sound system can make all the difference, and the good news is you don't need to break the bank to install one. Right now, Amazon has its Fire TV soundbar with a subwoofer on sale for 23% off. Normally going for $375, that discount is enough to bring this television audio accessory down to $290—its lowest price ever. The movie-watching experience is built on two part, picture and sound—and people drastically undervalue the importance of the latter. You can have the best picture in the world available, but it won't leave its full impact if the audio is coming out of the TV's built-in speakers. The best way to improve your home audio for watching movies, football games, and big budget TV shows without breaking your own budget is with a soundbar. See at Amazon The soundbar connects to your TV easily using HDMI ARC and then fills your room with spectacular sound thanks to the DTS Virtual:X surround sound. This emulates full, 3D cinema quality sound and makes it so you have a great listening experience no matter where you are sitting in relation to the soundbar. Take the sound even further with Dolby Audio-supported entertainment. The soundbar has a center channel dedicated to dialogue. You ever complain about how hard it can be to hear characters talk in TV shows or movies? Well you can put the power in your own hands without needing to put on those distracting subtitles. Control the center channel directly to boost to sound of dialogue without making everything else uncomfortably loud. The Fire TV soundbar works seamlessly with Fire TV smart TVs and streaming media players, so you will only need one remote to control your TV and your audio. Just use the remote that came with you Fire TV. So if you're ready to turn your back on the low-quality audio you TV's built-in speakers are providing you, you can upgrade to the Fire TV soundbar with a subwoofer for the low price of $290 over at Amazon. That's a 23% discount from its standard price of $375. See at Amazon

LEGO Star Wars Phantom Menace Podrace Wasn't This Cheap Last Prime Day, but Now It's Practically Free
It's hard to decide which is more surprising — the fact that Star Wars: The Phantom Menace is now 25 years old, or that LEGO has been creating amazingly detailed Star Wars-themed sets and models for just as long. The 25th anniversary celebration of LEGO Star Wars continues with this amazing diorama depicting the iconic podrace between young Anakin Skywalker and Sebulba on Tatooine, and Amazon's selling this adult set for just $54. The LEGO Star Wars: The Phantom Menace Mos Espa Podrace Diorama has 718 pieces and depicts the podracers as they blast through Arch Canyon, with faithful reproductions of both Anakin's and Sebulba's podracers. Once completed, the diorama is a foot wide, just over 4.5 inches tall, and 5.5 inches deep, perfect for any shelf or other prominent place to proudly display both your LEGO skills and your Star Wars fandom. See at Amazon You're probably already aware that in addition to being one of the most popular gifts and pastimes for kids, LEGO has made a huge impact with their model kits that are geared toward adults. These adult kits are more detailed and designed to be displayed after completion, not played with. (So, few if any moving parts and no pew-pew spring guns shooting tiny projectiles.) These kits are a great way to relive your own younger days when you were building and playing with LEGO sets all the time, and taking the time to build a detailed, intricate set like the LEGO Star Wars: The Phantom Menace Mos Espa Podrace Diorama is a fun and relaxing activity. This is just one of six LEGO Star Wars sets that are aimed at the adult LEGO and Star Wars enthusiast fanbase, and as part of the LEGO Star Wars 25th anniversary celebration it comes with a special anniversary brick that caps off the display. By far the most memorable scene from 1999's Star Wars: The Phantom Menace was the battle between young Anakin Skywalker and the vicious, underhanded podracing champion Sebulbla at the Boonta Eve Classic on Tatooine. The first Star Wars movie in 16 years heralded a new era of stories and canon and created a new generation of devoted fans. If you were one of those new fans, or if your fandom goes as far back as the very first installment of the Star Wars saga, you'll love the opportunity to display your fandom with this detailed and faithful representation of that iconic podracing scene. It's just $54 right now at Amazon during this 33% off sale as part of the 25th anniversary celebration of LEGO Star Wars. See at Amazon

An Unfortunate Update On The Distant ‘The Boys' Season 5 Release Date
The Boys The Boys only has one more season left to go, and according to social media, it appears filming has now wrapped for season 5. That's good news on its own, I suppose, but in the context of when season 5's release date will actually arrive, that's a different matter entirely. We can use season 4 to judge the distance between filming wrapping on a season and its release. In that case, filming on The Boys season 4 ended on April 12, 2023. Then, the season aired on June 13, 2024, meaning that post-production took 14 months after filming until season 4 actually aired. Doing that math, 14 months from today would be August 2026. That would be over two years since season 4 aired, yet another giant gap in the streaming era, though I guess these days we have to be thankful when things aren't three years, sadly. However, the benefit of giving your shows spin-off series is that you have something to fill the time. In this case, that would be the release of Gen V season 2, which will air on September 17, 2025. Given that I liked Gen V season 1 better than recent entries of The Boys, I'm genuinely looking forward to that. I'm not clear on what the status of another spin-off, The Boys: Mexico, currently is or when it's going to change its name from that. There's one more past that, Vought Rising, a prequel series. Amazon is not letting this go just because the main series ends, Walking Dead style. But at least Gen V has been no Fear the Walking Dead to start with here. The Boys The Boys has gotten additional attention as of late after the election of Donald Trump for a second term. While The Boys has always been a political parody, it's gotten more pronounced the last few years with some literal 1:1 moments from real life. Social media for the show reacts quickly to real events for promotion (most recently, The Deep was used for a DOGE/Elon Musk parody). Homelander's Antony Starr has recently commented that he's glad the series is ending as he doesn't want the series to not go out on top: While it does seem extremely likely Homelander will not survive the finale, it remains to be seen whether he could possibly show up in a spin-off if events are taking place in the past. But unfortunately, we are going to need to wait more than a year until we figure out how season 5 will end. Follow me on Twitter, YouTube, Bluesky and Instagram. Pick up my sci-fi novels the Herokiller series and The Earthborn Trilogy.
