Hailey Bieber and Selena Gomez 'feud' reignited after fans spot social move
Fans seem to think Hailey Bieber and Selena Gomez have fallen out after spotting a shock change on their social media pages.
Their rumoured 'feud' goes back to the Calm Down hitmaker, 32, dating Hailey's now-husband Justin Bieber from 2010 and 2018.
Justin, 31, and Hailey, 28, were briefly linked romantically in 2015 to 2016 during a brief break from Selena, before they rekindled their relationship in June 2018, marrying in September of the same year.
Hailey and Justin welcomed their first child, Jack Blues, in August last year, while Selena announced her engagement with music producer Benny Blanco in December 2024.
While the pair have previously shrugged off feud rumours, eagle-eyed fans happen to think they have fallen out after spotting neither Hailey nor Selena follow each other anymore on Instagram.
It comes just months after it was claimed Hailey had liked a shady TikTok video making fun of Selena and Benny.
However, reps for Hailey told Page Six that this 'never happened.'
But this recent mutual unfollowing has reignited feud rumours among fans,with some speculating one party could have blocked the other, prompting both accounts to automatically unfollow each other.
'I think Hailey blocked Selena cause right when Hailey posted, the unfollowed showed. Like Hailey was active and blocked Selena so it automatically made Selena stop following her too cuz that how blocking works. She prob saw Selena's post from this morning where she was serving,' Sam_selenator theorised.
Many asked 'why they were following each other in the first place', while others said they were 'tired' of the speculation.
'I speak for everyone when i say that this back and forth feud is getting tired atp..,' Geokonic__ wrote.
'Hailey and Selena drama in the big year of 2025….when are we going to wrap this up,' Betscrables added.
Selena and Hailey have denied feud rumours for years now, with the Only Murders in the Building actress even asking her fans to stop attacking the Rhode Skin founder online.
'Hailey Bieber reached out to me and let me know that she has been receiving death threats and such hateful negativity,' Selena said in an Instagram post in 2023.
'This isn't what I stand for. No one should have to experience hate or bullying. I've always advocated for kindness and really want this all to stop.' More Trending
In response, Hailey said she and Selena had discussed the 'extremely hateful' narrative and were voicing ways to 'move past' it.
In 2022, the pair were even snapped hugging at an event, breaking the internet in the process.
Their feud seemed to escalate a year later when a lip-syncing video of Hailey and her friends seemed to shade Selena, which intensified after she and pal Kylie Jenner were accused of mocking Selena's eyebrows in an Instagram post.

And chatting in the run-up to her big day, it's clear even her choice of celebration is more mature than most 18-year-olds. 'To be honest, I'm not fussed on doing a big thing,' she says. 'I'll be very happy with a quiet dinner and maybe going somewhere after, so long as it's memorable and the people I love – my family and friends – are with me. I've left it in my dad and Emily's hands. It's going to be a surprise.' Princess is more than happy to let her dad take the reins. 'I know whatever they have planned will be really good because they get things done, and they know my tastes and what I like, so I'm sure between them they'll sort something amazing,' Princess says. 'I've got lots of things planned with my friends. We always have such a great time together.' And how will she be celebrating with her mum, Katie Price? Following Katie's split from Peter in 2009 they share Princess – known in the family as Bista – and her brother Junior, 20. 'Maybe we'll have a nice dinner together. I'm sure Mum will have something planned for me,' Princess tells us. One thing you won't see her doing is going off the rails and falling out of a club just because she can legally drink now. 'I'm not really a big drinker or a big party-goer, but it'll be nice to be able to go to pubs and stuff with my friends,' Princess says. 'But at the same time, I'm not the sort of person who would embarrass myself. I'll never put myself in a position that would make me look bad.' This is typical Princess. She's so driven, motivated and committed to her brand and business aspirations that she won't let anything get in the way of her reputation. With a huge fanbase (she boasts more than 1.7m followers across Instagram, TikTok and Snapchat), Princess is well on the way to becoming the British Kylie Jenner. It's worth noting that Kylie is worth £525 million thanks to her make-up range. 'I love Kylie, I really look up to her,' Princess says, adding that influencer Molly-Mae Hague is also a huge inspiration. 'The goal is to follow these women in creating a really successful business and brand. That's really the biggest thing I'm looking forward to in adulthood,' she says. 'The fact that I won't be a child any more opens up more opportunities. When you're older, more brands want to work with you. It's scary, because being 18 means I'll have a lot more of my own responsibilities, but I'm really focused on building as much as I can for my future in the right way, with the right people around me.' Those plans include a beauty range, which Princess teases will be 'really exciting', and a reality show in which Princess – already a TV veteran thanks to her famous parents – will be the star. 'It's an ITV show that will be about me and the Andre side of the family,' she tells us. 'It'll be going beyond what you see on Insta or TikTok, this will be all of me. I'm going to be very real.' We ask if the prospect of heading up her own show is daunting and she says, 'I think it's scary because even though I'm used to being in my parents' shows and I've always been put out there, now it's about me. 'It'll be weird not focusing on my dad. He and Emily will be on it, though, in the background. And Junior too. We're great together, we really bounce off each other well, so he'll be a big part of it. Mainly, I want people to see I'm a good person. 'A lot of people do tell me I'm humble and nice, which I love. But there is a lot of responsibility attached. I have a lot of younger followers and I want to be a real inspiration to them. I want to be authentic and really engaged with what I do. 'I have three younger sisters now and I want them to grow up and look up to me.' Princess' brothers and sisters are often at the forefront of her mind. She and Junior have three half siblings, Harvey, 23, Jett, 11, and Bunny, 10, on Katie's side, while Emily and Peter share Amelia, 11, Theo, eight, and Arabella, one. 'I'm kind of a second mum to the little ones,' she says. 'I do feel a big responsibility for my little brothers and sisters and I try to be the best big sister I can for them.' She speaks particularly fondly of Arabella, who she affectionately calls Bells. 'When it comes to Bells, I just can't cope with how cute she is,' Princess gushes. 'I just want to be with her all the time. She's a year old already and now she's really growing up. She's clapping and making noises. She's so cute. I don't really need to do a lot of babysitting, but I did take Theo and Amelia in the car to school the other day. I felt like a proper grown-up doing the school run.' For those who missed it on social media, Princess has been showing off her new white Audi, the majority of which she bought with her own money. 'My dad helped me a bit,' she says. 'It was his idea to do the joke 'Princess' number plate, which didn't stay, but it's mostly my money and I'm really proud of that. I actually wanted a Mercedes but the insurance was too high.' The fact that a 17-year-old could afford to buy her own Mercedes is impressive, but Princess is well on her way to being a millionaire in the next few months. It's fair to say she is nothing if not focused – so much so that when we ask her about her recent break-up with her boyfriend of two years, whose name she's never revealed publicly, she puts the most mature spin on heartbreak we've ever heard from a teenager. 'I'm feeling good. I've always kept my personal life personal, so I don't talk too much about it, but now is the time to focus on me,' she says. 'I want to get my career to exactly where I want it.' Luckily for Princess she has an incredibly supportive family in her corner. She explains that when it comes to career advice, she'll go to her mum for things like make-up and beauty, and Peter for guidance on music, TV and branding. 'I'm so lucky that both my parents give me good advice,' she says. 'With business stuff, they both know what to look for. Mum has had beauty ranges before so she's been helpful and I'm still hoping to do a lot more brandwork and music, and I trust my dad's opinion on all of that.' So could we see a potential father-daughter pop collaboration at some point in the future? 'My music's going to be totally different from my dad's. I adore my dad but I don't know. I'm trying to be my own person so I'd probably want to do more with other artists,' Princess says. 'But when I did my GCSE music, he sang with me. He did vocals on the track I did for my exams, so I do value him in that respect and he's still very successful. Obviously, I appreciate my family so much, but I think I'm at that point where I want to try to do stuff on my own. I'm focused on achieving that.' Finally, we ask Princess what she hopes to get for her birthday. Seeing as she bought herself a car, what could top that? 'I must be quite hard to buy for as I have no idea what I want,' she says. 'There's nothing I really need at the moment.' But it sounds like Princess knows exactly what she wants – and there's no doubt the driven teen will achieve it. 'Maybe we can do this again on my 21st,' she giggles. 'By then I'm hoping to have invested in property, be working with some big brands worldwide, and have a successful TV show. I want to be out there, achieving amazing things and becoming a huge success.' Having spent time in Princess's company, we certainly wouldn't bet against it.

Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, is now selling a selection of new food items, including an apricot spread and a limited edition orange blossom honey, the latter costing £21 per jar Meghan Markle has claimed her brand's new food products - including a £21-per-jar honey - have almost sold out within hours of release. The Duchess of Sussex, 43, has expanded her As Ever range with several new items, including a rosé wine, an apricot spread and the limited edition orange blossom honey. She said most of the first batches of these treats almost sold out within minutes of release, a claim which left some fans and critics puzzled. Social media users went online to suggest the former actress was "playing the 'sold out' game", an approach they say salespeople use to encourage customers to swiftly part with cash. However, Prince Harry's wife did enjoy success with the first release of products under the brand - with the likes of a jam, honey, herbal teas and flower sprinkles all snaffled within hours. Suggesting this was the case again, Meghan says in an Instagram video she wishes she had "so much more inventory". She adds: "We are nearly sold out on everything, and I can't believe it... Thanks everybody." In the clip, the mum of two explains how the flower sprinkles have again proved to be the most popular item - just as they were in April. Most items on As Ever's website have "sold out" beside them, including the flower sprinkles and apricot spread. But trolls are still not convinced, writing on Twitter (formerly X) they felt Meghan was assuming "people were stupid". One person posted: "She is playing the 'sold out' game and thinking we are all stupid. You fool no one Meghan Markle." Another shared: "Wait the only new thing she dropped was the apricot spread. WTF. And it sold out after 20 mins. Meghan must think people are really stupid." Among further harsh digs, another critic added: "Wow they have super small quantities. The apricot and tea already sold out." But in full, Meghan says: "We spent so much time making sure we had so much more inventory. That's why we took the time and you guys are doing it again. We are nearly sold out on everything. And I can't believe it - even flower sprinkles which I knew would be the big one again. So that has more inventory than all of it and that is also about to sell out." While the apricot spread and honey went on sale on Friday, the Napa Valley rosé wine will be available from July 1. The rosé is Meghan's first foray into the wine market - with the product sourced from the famous region of California , up the west coast from her Montecito mansion.

Accusations of plagiarism, AI use and author bullying: 'BookTok' rocked by recent scandals
A scandal over allegations of plagiarism is rocking the book community on TikTok, becoming the latest drama to unfold in a pocket of the internet that was once considered a safer space from online toxicity. 'Beverly,' a romance novel by indie author Laura J. Robert, had picked up recent buzz on the social media platform, where readers and authors often discuss the latest titles and give recommendations. But several creators removed their videos praising Robert's book after allegations emerged that it was a rip-off of the indie author R.J. Lewis' 'Obsessed,' which was published in 2016. Both books have plots that follow a lead female character and her romance with her childhood friend. Some people posted excerpts of Lewis' words juxtaposed with Robert's, identifying what they described as similarities. Others accused Robert of using artificial intelligence to tweak and lengthen Lewis' book to create her own version. A handful of people speculated the authors could be the same person — because Robert's initials are Lewis' initials backward — and that the controversy could all be a PR stunt. NBC News was unable to reach Robert on Friday. Lewis declined to comment further. On BookTok, some have cited the somewhat niche controversy as yet another example of the community's shift away from lighthearted content around new releases. 'Does anyone miss just having a silly, goofy, fun time, having a bit of a laugh?' Lola Oluremi, a BookTok creator, said in a recent video discussing 'Beverly' and 'Obsessed.' 'I feel like every time I log onto BookTok now, it's something.' The online space, which has been credited for inspiring a fresh wave of interest in literature, hasn't been devoid of drama in the past. But this month, the 'Beverly' accusations followed two other separate situations that had caused some division among BookTokers online. Author Ali Hazelwood, who is behind popular novels such as 'The Love Hypothesis,' left Instagram purportedly after she was 'bullied' for a comment she made during a panel discussion at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books in April. Hazelwood weighed in on who she thought Katniss Everdeen, the protagonist of Suzanne Collins' 'Hunger Games' books, should have ended up with romantically, saying it should have been her childhood friend Gale, rather than her fellow tribute, Peeta. 'He's a terrible, mean, selfish person,' Hazelwood said of the character Peeta, a baker's son from District 12 who was reaped alongside Katniss in the books. The clip of Hazelwood's remarks was widely circulated and blasted online by people who accused her of having a bad take. Hazelwood didn't immediately respond to a request for comment. Since she went dark online, several BookTokers have come to her defense, reflecting on how the community has seemingly become more prone to getting lost in meaningless discourse. 'The way y'all have lost the plot over a fictional bread boy has left me genuinely questioning the mental health of the book community,' Shelley Fleuridor, the YouTuber behind the channel 'Book Chats with Shelley,' said in a recent video delving into the Hazelwood backlash. 'We need to talk about what's happening to this community and why some of you genuinely need to be placed in a reading timeout immediately, maybe permanently.' Also this past month, Victoria Aveyard, the author of the 'Red Queen' books, sparked a wave of backlash and speculation on BookTok after she post a video alluding to another author's using generative AI in a novel without naming the purported writer. She said she didn't name the person because she didn't want to get sued. 'Using GenAI to come up with characters, plots and story ideas isn't writing. It's theft,' Aveyard said. 'Using GenAI doesn't make you a writer. It makes you a thief.' She said generative AI has been trained on copyrighted material that 'has been stolen from artists without license or compensation.' Some subsequent posts from users accuse Aveyard of being a 'mean girl' obsessed with 'drama.' In other videos, some try to guess which author she was referring to. Meanwhile, a handful of authors have also been posting videos of their writing and editing processes to prove their work isn't made with AI. With 'Beverly,' it remains unclear whether there will be consequences for Robert beyond online fallout. Robert's social media pages and her author website were no longer online Friday. 'Beverly' has also been removed from Amazon. The title remains on GoodReads, where several people have posted comments about the plagiarism accusations and given the book a one-star review. Lewis posted about the plagiarism allegations on Instagram this week, calling the situation an indie author's 'worst nightmare.' "I'm an author who does not have a big online presence and thank all who have reached out to bring this to my attention as I don't have much visibility on the social media space," she wrote. She said she has contacted Amazon to raise a copyright infringement case and hopes 'that people in the booktok space realize this author is stealing content and profiting from it.'
