Meet Sachin Agrawal, brother of world's youngest female Chartered Accountant who topped CA finals exam at…, she holds Guinness World Record for…, her name is...
Success in India's toughest exams—like JEE, NEET, UPSC CSE, CA, and SSC—is a journey that requires a combination of immense stress and great commitment. These exams not only test academic prowess but also test discipline, time management, and mental toughness. With lakhs of students sitting for exams every year, the path to success becomes narrower and narrower. More and more students want to clear the exam each year with the hope of success. But only a small number clear the first hurdle. As the process unfolds, the percentage drops significantly. At the end, only a handful have made it, and from there, just one candidate claims the All India Rank 1 title.
In a world where passing challenging exams is a feat in its own right, only a few names pass the exams on the first attempt, while becoming stars in their own right. One of these incredible feats is the journey of Nandini Agrawal, an inspiring woman from Morena in Madhya Pradesh, who not only passed the Chartered Accountancy; she made history.
At just 19, Nandini became the youngest female Chartered Accountant in the world. This is confirmed by the Guinness World Records. Nandini's inspiring journey is a huge reminder that age is no barrier to achieving greatness if you have focus, hard work, and a strong mindset.
Born on October 18, 2001, Nandini Agrawal made history in 2021 by becoming ranked All India Rank 1 in the Chartered Accountancy (New) examination, a feat the India Book of Records recognizes. Nandini appeared for the final exam in July 2021, achieving the distinguished milestone at only 19 years, 8 months, and 18 days old.
Nandini Agrawal's results were officially declared on November 29, 2021, and as such, she is not only one of the youngest Chartered Accountants but also one of the youngest to achieve All India Rank 1. Nandini Agrawal's story is the perfect example of how grit and concentration can help to break age-old records—quite literally. All India Rank 1 topper in the CA final exam at just 19 years old, Nandini scored a sensational total of 614 out of 800 marks. This achievement is made even more exciting as Nandini's older brother, 21-year-old Sachin Agrawal, passed the same exam, securing All India Rank 18. The sibling success story is a rare example of dedication to help one another succeed through the shared experience of working hard to achieve excellence in an academic environment.
In 2021, Union Minister of Commerce & Industry, Piyush Goyal, also wished the remarkable siblings well. Taking to his official Twitter account, he wrote, 'Congratulations to the star siblings of Morena, Madhya Pradesh! Well done Nandini Agrawal for topping the all-India CA final exam and her brother Sachin Agrawal for securing the 18th rank. Best of luck for a bright future to both of you.'
Their achievement was even more remarkable because the pandemic adversely affected the preparation of many other aspirants, gradually resulting in these dedicated siblings utilizing the time at home to study and revise for their exam.
Nandini Agrawal completed her 11th and 12th grade studies in Victor Convent Higher Secondary School. She created history in 2021 by becoming the world's youngest female Chartered Accountant at the age of 19 years, obtaining All India Rank 1 in the CA Final examination by scoring 614 out of 800, which is 76.75%. When the previous results were declared, she was 19 years and 330 days old, which officially verified the Guinness World Record for being the youngest female Chartered Accountant.
In a 2021 interview with The Indian Express, Sachin Agrawal, Nandini's brother, reflected on their journey together, saying, 'There were times when we fought like crazy but that only lasted for some time and we got back to normal. I would have been happy with even 70 per cent marks as I did not have high expectations but I knew that Nandini will do great. She's brilliant and deserves all the success. In many ways, she is my mentor.'
Nandini and Sachin's father, Naresh Chandra Gupta, is a tax practitioner. Their mother, Dimple Gupta, is a homemaker. Nandini and Sachin attribute their success to consistent preparations and in their experience, encourage aspirants to be diligent with ICAI study material as it was key to their success in helping them to crack the exam as they have done.
The statement on the official website of the India Book of Records reads,' The record for being the youngest Chartered Accountant was set by Nandini Agrawal (born on October 18, 2001) of Morena, Madhya Pradesh. She appeared for her final CA (New) examination in July 2021 and secured the 1st rank at the age of 19 years, 8 months and 18 days, as confirmed on November 29, 2021.'

Pahalwan Lassi & Chachi ki Kachori gets a new address after demolition: Check where you can enjoy the Varanasi's famous food
Along the ghats of Banaras, it's hard for people to resist the tempting street food that defines India's oldest city. Among the most loved local flavours, lassi and kachori hold a special place. Two iconic shops in the Lanka area—Pahalwan Lassi and Chachi Ki Kachori—have long been known for serving these famous treats. Recently, the Uttar Pradesh Public Works Department demolished around 30 shops near Lanka Chauraha, including these two favourites, to make way for a new four-lane road connecting Lahartara to Bhikhari Pur Tiraaha. The news stirred a wave of chatter across social media platforms, especially among local food enthusiasts. However, food lovers in Banaras can now breathe a sigh of relief, as both Pahalwan Lassi and Chachi Ki Kachori have now opened shops at a new location. Pahalwan Lassi Relocates, Continues Its 75-Year Legacy Pahalwan Lassi, once a staple at the Lanka-Ravidas crossing, has now reopened on the road from Lanka towards Assi Ghat, in Katra near the HDFC Bank . Shopkeeper Manoj Yadav shared that they resumed operations to ensure loyal customers wouldn't be disappointed. 'We've seen overwhelming support since reopening. Our shop has a 75-year-old legacy, and over time, many notable figures—including Union Ministers like Dharmendra Pradhan, Arun Jaitley, Smriti Irani, Keshav Maurya, and Brajesh Pathak—have visited us,' he said. He also mentioned that Bollywood stars Akshay Kumar and Mithun Chakraborty have enjoyed their signature lassi. Yadav emphasized that the traditional method of preparation remains unchanged. Their lassi, known as "Rabri Wali Lassi," is crafted using curd, malai (cream), rabri (a sweet condensed milk dish), saffron, and rose water, and is served in eco-friendly kulhads (earthen cups). It's so rich and thick that customers often eat it with a spoon rather than drink it. Live Events Responding to customer preferences, the shop has added new flavours to its menu, such as fruit lassi, chocolate lassi, saffron lassi, banana lassi, and masala lassi. Prices range from ₹30 to ₹500. Chachi Ki Kachori: Spicy Flavours with a Side of Scoldings Chachi Ki Kachori, a legendary eatery with a 110-year-old legacy, has reopened just across from its original location in Lanka. The iconic shop continues to serve its beloved kachoris, now from a spot directly opposite the previous one. Shopkeeper Kailash shared that his mother was the original founder of the outlet. Known not just for her delicious food but also for her sharp tongue, she would famously serve up playful 'gaaliyan' (scoldings) along with the kachoris — something regular customers began to consider a special kind of blessing. Kailash proudly recalled that several well-known personalities, including Bollywood superstar Rajesh Khanna and Union Minister Smriti Irani, had visited their shop to enjoy the signature dish. 'People used to tell Chachi they wouldn't leave until she gave them a dose of her gaaliyan,' he laughed. Economic Times WhatsApp channel )
