"Friend" of Royals Says "Major Shifts" Are Being Secretly Planned for Prince William and Kate Middleton
Kate Middleton has been amping up her royal engagements over the past few months, making high profile appearances at several events including Trooping the Colour and The Order of the Garter Service:
And apparently Kate's increased public profile has been carefully planned as the royal couple prepare for some "shifts" in the coming months.
An anon person described simply as a "friend" tells People that "There are some major shifts coming behind the scenes," and that Wills and Kate are currently building their team as their eventual ascension to King and Queen creeps closer. As the friend put it, "They are really finessing what works and what doesn't."
Speaking of what works and what doesn't, there are rumors that Kate and William are over Prince Harry and Meghan Markle having titles, and plan to formally remove them as soon as William is King.
Another friend close to the couple just told the Daily Mail that "They have asked the Sussexes politely to stop using the style, to no avail, so I imagine William will simply issue new letters patent to formally remove the entire family's right to use HRH when he becomes king. It will likely be presented as part of a wider tidying up exercise to reduce, more broadly, the number of HRHs in circulation. He could, for example, say that only working royals are entitled to use HRH, which seems sensible if you are trying to modernize, or specify that only children of the monarch are HRH, not the grandchildren, which would have the added advantage of making things clearer for their own kids' families in due course."
Or...they could just let Harry and Meghan keep using the titles they were given! Either way!

Coronation Street star reportedly quits with final scenes having already aired
A Coronation Street star is said to have left the ITV soap, with fans having already watched his final scenes. Jack Carroll, known for his role as Bobby Crawford, is reported to have left the show after two years. A source told The Mirror: "Bobby has had a dramatic couple of years on the cobbles, but the time has come to bid farewell. "Actor Jack enjoyed his time on the soap, but it's time to move on. Viewers won't see the character exit the street as he's already left, with Jack filming his final scenes some time ago. "The door has been left open for Jack should he wish to come back to the show in the future. With his Aunty Carla there, Bobby will always have a place in Weatherfield." Researching common Mandela effects – a name given to what seem to be collective memories or inaccurate happenings, like a common misconception that Nelson Mandela died in prison in the '80s – I found Colin Firth's Darcy implicated. His character, famous for THAT pond scene, never actually emerges, sodden-shirted, from the pool on-screen, the researchers wrote. This is despite almost half of us (49%) vividly remembering the moment. 'Mr Darcy is seen walking on his estate, having swum in his lake, but you never see him emerging,' they shared (a peek at the clip confirms the sad fact). Here are some of the other mind-melting false memories common among Brits: Though 59% of people polled said they were sure Mr Monopoly wore the accessory, he does not. I am among the 52% who could have sworn the cartoon character's throat boasted a prominent Adam's apple. In reality, it's straight up and down. That's compared to 13% of Americans who believed the '80s death myth. Hit 90s comedy show tours to theatres in Bath and Bristol
EXTRA dates have been added to the upcoming UK tour of An Evening with The Fast Show. The popular show will now include performances in Bath and Bristol due to high demand. The Bath Forum will host the show on November 14, followed by a performance at the Bristol Hippodrome on November 29. The tour will feature original co-creators Charlie Higson and Paul Whitehouse, alongside Simon Day, John Thomson, Arabella Weir and Mark Williams. Tickets are available at website. Following the success of The Fast Show's 30th anniversary shows in 2024, the show, described as 'the defining comedy sketch show of the nineties' by The Independent, is bringing back its popular characters and sketches.
