Three firefighters were injured battling a two-alarm blaze at a home in Staten Island Saturday night, according to reports.
The fire broke out just after 7 p.m. on Rosewood Place in Tompkinsville on the island's north shore, according to ABC 7.
Three firefighters suffered minor injuries and were transported to a local hospital in stable condition, that report stated.
Dozens of smoke-eaters responded to the conflagration in the residential neighborhood not far from Silver Lake Park.
Video posted to Citizen App shows the roaring flames on the house billow in the wind as fire trucks arrive at the scene.
Other witness video shows the structure of the house completely torched by the rising flames.
Many Staten Islanders can be seen watching from the sidewalk as the FDNY extinguished the flames.
The fire was eventually put out with the home still standing but exhibiting serious burning on its upper floor, Citizen app video shows.

At least 10 hurt when yacht strikes dock in Hudson River, FDNY says

Several people were hurt when a yacht struck a dock in the Hudson River on Saturday, the New York City Fire Department says. It happened around 4:15 p.m. in the water near the Henry Hudson Parkway and West 125th Street. According to the FDNY, about 400 people were on board the vessel when it hit a dock. Marine units then escorted the yacht to a dock at West 125th Street, where passengers were unloaded. The FDNY says at least ten civilians suffered minor injuries and were taken to local hospitals to be treated. Police confirm there was a water rescue, but they did not provide further details. It is unknown at this time what caused the yacht to hit the dock. The investigation is ongoing. This crash comes one month after a Mexican navy training ship struck the Brooklyn Bridge, killing two sailors and injuring 19 others. That incident remains under investigation.

State St. The condo building where the fire broke out is a relatively new building — a Redfin real estate listing says it was constructed in 2014. As of Sunday night, there were no reports of injuries — and there was also no word on the extent of the damage.

LIRR service resumes after electrical fire in Grand Central Madison

NEW YORK (PIX11) — Long Island Railroad trains are back on schedule after an electrical fire broke out in a tunnel at Grand Central Madison Tuesday morning, officials said. Authorities responded to the incident at 8:15 a.m., and it took several hours and more than 100 firefighters to contain the smoky tunnel, according to FDNY Commissioner Robert Tucker. The heavy smoke conditions were in the basement of the LIRR tracks, officials said. 'There was zero visibility down there,' Tucker said. Three firefighters and a civilian suffered non-life-threatening injuries, according to the FDNY. All Grand Central-bound trains were diverted to Penn Station or Jamaica due to the incident, according to the MTA. The trains were back on schedule at around 2:40 p.m. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
