Sidhu Moosewala
on what would have been his 32nd birthday. While tributes poured in from around the world, one emotional moment stood out—his mother cutting a cake in his memory with her younger son, Shubhdeep Singh, also lovingly known as Lil Sidhu.
Sidhu Moosewala's mother gets emotional
A video making the rounds on social media captured the heartbreaking scene. Sidhu Moosewala's mother held her younger son's hand as they cut a cake together. As they marked the special day, she was seen getting emotional. In a deeply touching moment, she fed a piece of cake to Sidhu's photo frame, a gesture that moved fans to tears.
Sidhu Moosewala, whose real name was Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, was a well known Punjabi singer, rapper and songwriter.
His sudden death on 29 May 2022 shocked the music world. He was tragically shot dead in his car by attackers in Jawaharke village in Mansa district. Though he was quickly taken to a hospital, he sadly passed away before he could receive treatment.
His fans, especially the younger generation, admired his music and strong voice. He wasn't just a singer—he composed and produced many of his own tracks. Even after his tragic demise, Sidhu's popularity has not faded.
In fact, several songs have been released after his passing, gaining millions of views online.
Fans celebrate his legacy
Fans celebrated Sidhu's birth anniversary with love and music. As a special tribute, his team released three unreleased songs on his official YouTube channel. These tracks—'0008', 'Neal' and 'Take Notes'—were part of a new extended play titled Moose Print. The songs were a gift to his loyal supporters and a reminder of his unforgettable voice.
BBC documentary stirs emotions
Alongside the music, the BBC World Service launched a two-part documentary on YouTube that shares Sidhu Moosewala's story and the events surrounding his murder. The first episode was released on 11 June at 5 AM.
However, the release faced legal trouble. Sidhu's father, Balkaur Singh Sidhu, filed a petition in a Mansa court to stop the screening of the documentary. He took legal action, asking the court to stop its release. Despite the petition, the court scheduled the hearing for Thursday and did not block the BBC from publishing the documentary online. Originally, BBC had planned a cinema screening in Mumbai, but due to the legal situation, the documentary was directly uploaded to YouTube instead.

Frogan removes all twitch videos and clips amid viral legal dispute with Ethan Klein

(Image via YouTube/@EthanKleinH3/@frogan) In a surprising turn of events, Twitch streamer Frogan appears to have wiped her entire video archive following a lawsuit filed by YouTuber Ethan Klein. The sudden move comes in the wake of Klein's legal action against three creators, accusing them of copyright infringement linked to his viral 'Content Nuke' video. What Sparked the Lawsuit? On June 19, Ethan Klein publicly confirmed he is suing three Twitch streamers—Frogan, Kaceytron, and Denims—for what he claims is blatant copyright infringement. At the center of the dispute is Klein's "Content Nuke" video, a critical breakdown of fellow creator HasanAbi. Klein alleges that the streamers used his video without proper commentary or transformation, violating fair use laws. Frogan, a political content creator known for her sharp takes and Twitch debates, was specifically called out by Klein for offering minimal input during her reaction streams. He also accused her of encouraging viewers to 'watch through her,' implying a deliberate attempt to divert traffic away from the original video. Frogan Reportedly Deleted All of Her Twitch Clips Shortly after the lawsuit became public knowledge, Frogan's Twitch channel underwent a drastic transformation. Viewers noticed that nearly all of her past VODs and clips had vanished. The only piece of content left standing was a now-viral clip of AI HasanAbi telling Frogan her therapy sessions weren't working—an odd remnant amidst the digital purge. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Cardiologists Shocked: 1 Spoonful a Day Melts Lower Belly Fat Fast Hollywood News | USA Click Here Undo Frogan hasn't issued a formal statement addressing the lawsuit or her decision to delete her content. Her silence stands in contrast to fellow defendant Denims, who has launched a crowdfunding campaign to help cover legal fees. Ethan Klein is Suing EVERYONE Ethan Klein's Case Against Frogan Klein didn't hold back when explaining why Frogan is among the specific individuals targeted in his legal action. In a recent video, he highlighted a moment where Frogan left his video running while stepping out of frame, adding no commentary or value to the original work. He argued that such behavior fails the 'transformative' test required for fair use protection. He also mentioned that Frogan's own viewers criticized her lack of engagement during the stream. For Klein, the final straw came when Frogan allegedly encouraged others to view his content 'through her,' framing it as ethical consumption. According to him, this move indicated an intentional effort to divert viewership, what he calls 'malicious intent to steal.' What's Next? With over 66,000 followers and an average of nearly 100 viewers per stream, Frogan's Twitch career is now under intense scrutiny. Whether her mass deletion was legal damage control or an emotional response remains unknown. For now, her content void speaks louder than any tweet. Ethan Klein's legal claims are likely to ignite broader discussions around the ethics of 'react content,' fair use, and where creators should draw the line. And while some fans stand divided, one thing's for sure—the drama's far from over. Game On Season 1 kicks off with Sakshi Malik's inspiring story. Watch Episode 1 here

'Jaya Is His Wife, Rekha His GF': When Yash Chopra Spoke About Making Silsila With Amitabh Bachchan

Yash Chopra's 1981 film Silsila starred Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, and Rekha, reflecting their real-life love triangle, adding intrigue to the film's narrative. They say that only the late legendary filmmaker Yash Chopra would have dared to cast Rekha, Amitabh Bachchan, and Jaya Bachchan in a film together back in the 80s. That was also the time when the trio would make headlines every other day for more than one reason. Here, we are discussing the making of Silsila, which featured the three, and as many would argue, told the real-life story of the three leading stars. Yash Chopra, in a rather bold interview, had once openly spoken about his film and commented on Big B's personal life, calling Rekha his 'girlfriend". Silsila (1981) starred Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan and Rekha in lead roles. The story was somewhat similar to their real-life situation, too, which would often make it to the headlines. Reportedly, Rekha was in love with already-married Amitabh, who used to reciprocate her feelings. Jaya Bachchan would be seen breaking down profusely in several occasions – be it in film premieres watching their love scenes together or that one time the Umrao Jaan actor grabbed the limelight after she appeared at Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor's wedding wearing sindoor. In an exclusive BBC interview in 2010, Yash Chopra had revealed that Amitabh and Rekha's affair was going strong even before they started shooting Silsila, which ironically mirrored the real life drama. Chopra said, 'I was always on tenterhooks and scared (during Silsila) because it was real life coming into reel life. Jaya is his wife and Rekha is his girlfriend and the same story is going on (in real life). Anything could have happened because they are working together." Yash Chopra had even followed up his statement, saying, 'When a man and woman are doing romantic scenes it's not possible they won't get in a relationship – in the past, it wasn't so open, but today it is. No one cared in the past." The interviewer was taken aback by Yash Chopra's candid admission, later telling Eastern Eye, 'It's a rumour we have grown up with, but no one has ever confirmed it." The filmmaker's remarks about Amitabh Bachchan's much-discussed love life aired on the BBC Asian Network. Following the broadcast, rumours swirled that the Silsila actor had made frantic phone calls and was visibly upset and angry about the revelations. However, the BBC Asian Network refuted these claims, stating, 'Following the interview with Yash Chopra on the BBC Asian Network's Sonia Deol Show on Wednesday 11 August, we have had no contact or correspondence from Amitabh Bachchan's representatives." What is the story of Rekha, Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan's Silsila? Silsila, directed by Yash Chopra and released in 1981, is a romantic drama that delves into the complexities of love, loyalty, and societal expectations. Starring Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, and Rekha, the film features a love triangle that mirrored real-life relationship rumors, adding an intriguing layer to the story. The movie's poignant narrative, soul-stirring music by Shiv-Hari, and evocative lyrics by Javed Akhtar explore themes of forbidden love and sacrifice. Although it wasn't a major box office hit at the time, Silsila has since achieved cult status, remembered for its bold casting, emotional depth, and the iconic last on-screen pairing of Rekha and Amitabh.
