IN a time when celebrities are more sanitised than ever, it's refreshing to speak to a star who isn't afraid to say what she thinks – even if it offends.
It's that unfiltered, straight-talking, no-nonsense attitude that helped Olivia Attwood, 34, win over the nation on Love Island in 2017, and propel her to the top of TV commissioners' most-wanted list.

'I don't take myself too seriously,' she admits.
'Sometimes, the problem online is that the nuance is lost. I'm writing something, cackling away because it's like, 'wink wink', but then it reads differently. Then it's all: 'She attacked someone'. And it was just a little joke.
'Guests leave my podcast saying: 'I'm worried about X and Y', and it's nothing controversial. There's a culture of trying to please everyone by saying nothing. But the only person you're selling short is yourself.
'It'd be very easy for me to change the way I approach things, and zip it. But should I change everything and be boring because a handful of trolls have got in a twist? I don't think so,' she laughs.
'I'm happy to be Marmite. It works. I've given them something to talk about. It's much easier for me to be myself, plus it's so much more fun.'
'The Kardashians' bodies are not created in the gym'
True to form, Olivia has never shied away from discussing the work she's had done, either – two boob jobs, chin liposuction, plus regular tweakments of Botox and fillers.
Does she think other celebrities should be equally open?
'This is such a difficult conversation, because I don't want to tell people that they owe us their medical records. However, I think when people monetise things, like they're on Ozempic but selling a weight-loss plan, or they've done something to their skin and are pushing a face cream, it's disingenuous.
'I like openness. I always say that if you look at me and something looks too good, then it's probably not natural.'
As for the Kardashians, who recently hit the headlines for Kris' reported facelift, and Kylie Jenner revealing details of her breast augmentation on social media, Olivia has mixed feelings.

'I'm all for honesty, but it feels like it's a bit fashionable now to be an open book. I wish we'd had that energy from them years ago,' she says.
'Kylie came out and said about her boobs, and I was like: 'I've been talking about my breasts for the past 10 years.' I like the Kardashians, this is not me bashing them, but it's too little, too late for me.
'We know Kylie's breasts are fake. We knew she had lip fillers when she was selling those lip kits. What about talking about lipo and BBLs [Brazilian bum lifts]? Their bodies are not created in the gym.'
Olivia is back discussing surgery on the second series of her ITV documentary, The Price Of Perfection.
During the show, she follows different people's nip/tuck journeys, from TOWIE star Charlie King's nose job, to The Traitors' Amanda Lovett's facelift.
'It is full-on and we've got to make a decision about how much gruesome stuff we leave in,' she says.
'I knew going into the shows that I was fine with blood, and I've watched a lot of surgeries online. I find it more interesting than disgusting. But it's the smell as they cauterise the flesh, which is basically burning it to stop it bleeding.'
In fact, despite having a self-confessed 'pancake bum', watching a BBL in Turkey put Olivia off wanting the surgery.
'I would definitely have a facelift in the future, as they can look amazing,' she says.
'I'll have my breasts done again, because they're only guaranteed for 10 years and, if I have kids, I'll have to redo them. BBL is the only one I wouldn't do, because the risk is too much. It's one of the surgeries that has the highest revision rate.

'Watching surgeries makes you appreciate what you're putting your body through. I've minimised breast augmentation [in the past], but when you actually see it happening, it sobers you up to the reality of surgery. I think that it's probably given me a bit of a reality check. I love cosmetic intervention and I think it can be life-changing. But surgery is surgery. It's not like getting your nails done or whatever. It's still a big risk and I don't think we should trivialise that.'
When leaving Love Island, contestants are often offered free boob jobs or surgery, but Olivia says she has been scrupulous about never accepting free treatments.
'I know I'm lucky to have the ability to fund my own procedures. But I learned really quickly coming out of Love Island that even if it's a hair colour or make-up, when you take something for free, you put yourself into a strange power dynamic. You are recommending that person [or product] and you can't really retract that.
'I know first-hand people who have had a free boob job and it's gone tits-up, quite literally, and they can't publicly tell that story.'
'Being a woman is hard enough, I don't need a man sticking his nose in'
Money is a topic Olivia is keen to discuss, joking that she pays a 'hot-girl tax' when she has work done.
'That's tongue-in-cheek,' she says. 'I'm not implying if you don't have work done, then you're not hot.
'But we do have a female tax in general. Colouring your hair, waxing, nails, make-up. . . That s**t is expensive, and I don't think men realise that. Being a woman costs a lot.'
Olivia married professional footballer Bradley Dack, 31, two years ago in a lavish London ceremony.
Does the Gillingham midfielder ever complain about her spending too much on her appearance?
'No, he knows! We don't have those conversations. Actually, I moan when I see him buying another set of golf clubs. I'm like: 'What a waste of money!' So, I'm a complete hypocrite,' she laughs.

'But he does pull me back to reality. If I say: 'F***, I look old today,' he'll be quick to say: 'Please!'
"Also, it's boring. For me, it would be very easy to become so obsessed with the way I look. But Brad will say: 'There are so many more things interesting about you, Liv, than whether you've got a wrinkle.' I love that he does that, because it reminds me not to get sucked in.'
Would he ever tell her to stop getting work done?
Olivia shakes her head.
'No, how I want to look is an individual journey. I don't do things for him. If I don't feel sexy, everything will have a knock-on effect. Although, if he said it from a wellness point of view, of course I'd listen. But I wouldn't have married someone [who wanted to get] that involved. Being a woman is hard enough, I don't need a man sticking his nose in. He can worry about football and I can make the call on what I need to look good.'
As well as deciding how she looks for herself, financial independence is another priority for Olivia.
'I went to an affluent private school, and I remember a close friend whose dad left their mum for his secretary. Suddenly, the big house and the cars were gone, and there's a 50-year-old woman who doesn't know how to pay a bill and can't access their bank account. Watching the rug be pulled out from under people in real time was horrendous.
'Women should absolutely be able to stay at home if they want to. I applaud women who are fulfilled by that. But financial freedom is something that we should always prioritise, because you can't say you're in an equal relationship if you don't have the power to leave when you want to.'
'Get the man, get the handbag, but don't quit your job'
She recounts the story of one woman who told her that she'd found messages on her footballer boyfriend's phone that proved he was cheating.
'I said: 'You have to go,' and she said: 'Where? It's not my house, it's not my car. Everything is in his name.' You do not want to be in that spot.
'And I know it's easier said than done. I speak from such a privileged position and I love my job, but I want young women to be educated. Yes, get the man, get the handbag, but don't quit your job. Brad and I have separate bank accounts and a joint one for bills. Everything is very transparent. He knows what I earn, I know what he earns. We know where the money goes. You need to make sure you are aligned with money and want to spend it on the same things.
'Women don't like talking about finances. I don't think we should be afraid. Don't let men mansplain us out of finances. I educated myself a lot in the last two years about money, tax structure and investment.'
Olivia and Bradley have also been discussing when to start a family.
'I don't get annoyed with people asking me,' she says.
'I feel like I've entered into this relationship with the public where everything is for sale! I had my wedding on telly. I'm very open on social media, so I think it's natural that people will be curious.

'In general, should we be constantly asking women about children? No, but I put myself in a different box. It's like these celebrities that sell their whole relationship, then they break up and ask for privacy. No, absolutely not. We are invested,' she laughs.
'I'm very comfortable with the narrative I've created, and I'm proud to be a voice for women in the same position. I know I want a family, I'm in my early 30s and fertility doesn't last forever. But my life is really full right now and I'm enjoying smashing work. Having a baby would change things, and that's something a lot of ambitious women are afraid to talk about. Whether we like it or not, having a baby will affect me in a different way to Brad.
'And I don't half-arse anything in my life – I'm not going to half-arse being a parent, so I'll do it when I'm ready. If it happened, I'd embrace it, but it would be hard to pause right now, as things are going so well.'
She's absolutely right.
There's another series of Olivia Attwood's Bad Boyfriends on the way, along with the fourth series of Getting Filthy Rich.
Her podcast, Olivia Attwood's So Wrong It's Right, is growing, and she also has her weekly Kiss radio show with Pete Wicks, plus her role as an ambassador for Maybelline.
Then there's the subject of Love Island.
With rumours that presenter Maya Jama is preparing to step down, surely Olivia is a natural successor?
'I don't know if that's true,' she says.
'Poor Maya is probably thinking: 'Why is she out there auditioning for my role?!' I have no information about Maya stepping down. For all I know, she'll stay for the next 10 years. I think she's f**king great, but if and when she didn't want to do it, I'd throw my hat in the ring.
'Love Island is the best thing I ever did. That show changed my life. I was lost and it redirected me. No one should have any expectation a reality show can do that. But for me, it worked out well.'

For girls like Dolly Hart, who grew up watching Cathouse, the intoxicating picture seved as a recruitment ad. 'Around the time that I caught a glimpse of the show, I was probably 11, 12,' she says. 'The girls looked like they were having fun. "There was a camaraderie amongst them. It seemed like you could make friends there. I was thinking, when I grow up I'm going to go there.' 'I saw the velvet couch, the pink Bunny House on TV and thought it was so cute,' says Dolly. 'I was having trouble making friends as a first generation little Mexican girl, getting bullied and being labelled the ugly duckling. 'I didn't come from a privileged background and I saw these girls making money on the show and thought, 'Let's go for it.' 'Dennis is an intimidating predator who knew who he could coerce and manipulate. The last time he propositioned me for sex was at his birthday party. He liked to slap and choke. It was hard to get him to stop.' Former Bunny Ranch cashier, Shonda, says: 'Dennis had a very active sex life with the working girls. "There were girls who would offer themselves to him and there were girls who didn't want to sleep with him but felt they had to. There they would line up while he chose who he wanted. But their smiles hid their humiliation. This 'unscripted' TV series was very much not that. 'It wasn't a documentary. We were told what to do,' says Shelly, who claims she was paid $300 dollars for onscreen sex scenes and nothin for non sex scenes. 'The Cathouse show was set up. In the first scene I did they wanted the women to sit down with a bunch of clients, teaching them about good sex. Advertisement "But one of the men was not a client. I recognised him as Jesse Fillmer, a driver and bartender at the Ranch.' Jesse confirms: 'Everyone in the scene who was supposed to be a customer were actually friends of Dennis or people who worked at the Ranch. "The Cathouse was just basically a promotional video for the Bunny Ranch.' Shelly regrets being part of the fake image that encouraged young girls to be a part of the sex industry. Advertisement 'HBO definitely wanted it to look like it was a fun place to be and so I can see where it can be tempting for a young girl to watch the Cathouse show and think it would be something fun,' she says. 'But they don't understand the reality of it. They aren't seeing what it is really like behind closed doors with Dennis. 'I didn't know that young girls would come to work there who would never have thought of working there if they had not seen the show. "So, looking back, I should never have agreed to do it. It's just horrifying to think that girls so young would want to do that.' 'They would go to bed and I would sneak out of my room, go downstairs and watch with the volume turned down low. "I thought it was the coolest thing, being paid to be gorgeous. It sounded amazing. So I decided I was going to go the Bunny Ranch.' As Cathouse became a huge hit, Hof was raking the money in and bought up a string of brothels nearby, transforming them into the model of the Bunny Ranch. Advertisement But he was eager to tell interviewers that he offered women the chance to earn a good living themselves. 'This is an opportunity for you either to make a lot of money in four or five years, invest it properly and never work another day in your life or to make a good amount of money in a short period of time every month so you can be with your kids and work on your writing or acting career or your studies,' he said. The brothel had a 50-50 split of profits with the women but they would had little left after being forced to pay for their accommodation along with laundry bills, clothes, make-up, condoms, lube and other subsidiaries. If they went days without being chosen by a client, their debts grew so many were constantly trying to pay off their tabs, effectively keeping them trapped there, as they couldn't walk away. "On screen there is free-flowing alcohol, they are having fun, everybody's laughing, there's a pool. It's a beautiful marketing ploy to recruit young vulnerable women to try it out. 'It's a myth that they can become millionaires. And the moment they leave prostitution they are in abject poverty and it's very difficult for them to rebuild their lives without extensive medical, psychological and psychiatric assistance.' Whenever he was around in the parlour I would try to stay away from him.' Bekah was there when Vince Neil, lead singer of the heavy metal band, Motley Crue, came to visit Dennis in 2003. He was more angry than I had ever seen someone Andrea Terry Andrea Terry, a working girl at the Ranch, later filed a police report after an encounter with him. In the report she says, 'He tried to get me to touch his penis. I reminded him we had to pay before any sexual acts could take place. Advertisement "With such a rage in his eyes he grabbed me by the throat and pushed me against the window frame, holding me there, yelling at me, then yanked me down towards the bed. He was more angry than I had ever seen someone.' I mean, they don't protect you. "In the end, the police actually charged Vince Neil and he pleaded no contest but if Dennis Hof had had his way, no one would have ever known.' Hof died in 2018 of a heart attack. Before his death several women who had worked at the Bunny Ranch accused him of rape, including Theresa Lowe and Jennifer O'Kane. He denied their allegations and never faced any charges, with authorities citing a lack of evidence. The islanders get more than they bargained for in the latest challenge. But will the boys' 'plan' come back to bite them? Another week in the Love Island villa has started and there is plenty more drama on the horizon. The ITV show started with a bang seven days ago and it is showing no signs of letting up. Prior to the start of the latest season, host Maya Jama promised 'more drama' and 'more twists'. Already we've seen dumpings and surprise re-couplings - as well as plenty of bombshells. It will be live from 9pm - with the same timings continuing throughout the week. But what can you expect from the show tonight (June 16)? Here's the full preview: Things get heated between Meg and Malisha It is not only the Spanish sun that is heating up the villa, Meg and Malisha get into a heated discussion in the garden again. Alima comforts Malisha in the dressing room. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad After hearing her side, Alima has some thoughts on the situation, heading out to the kitchen to tell Meg and the group: 'I'm not gonna lie, that wasn't nice to see both of you, all the shouting…let's be nice to people.' Meg says: 'I said [to Malisha] I don't want you to feel like this, you're now mugging me off and being disrespectful - I don't want to argue with her.' Shea and Harry in Love Island series 12 episode 7 | ITV Shakira adds: 'I don't think she [Malisha] was being disrespectful going to the Hideaway.' Meg replies: 'That's your opinion, not mine.' Meanwhile that evening, Toni and Conor debrief about where they stand and more importantly where he stands with new bombshell Emily. I think her and I are very different. Are you looking for a sweet, mild girl or someone like me?' How will Conor respond? The next day, Meg is keen to bury the hatchet and pulls Malisha for another chat. Meg says: 'Third time lucky, we're gonna get it right this time…' But is third time really the charm? 'Got the Receipts' - Islanders get more than they bargained for in challenge Toni in Love Island series 12 episode 7 | ITV Later that afternoon, Tommy receives a text revealing the Islanders will be taking part in the first challenge of the series. The text reads: Islanders, it's time to check out the facts in today's challenge: Got The Receipts! #ProofOfPurchase It's a game of slip and slide along a special Love Island-style shopping till, that sees the Islanders slide down a conveyor belt, swipe their card and pick up a receipt, which reveals a fact about an Islander of the opposite sex. They then have to decide who they think the fact is about and kiss their chosen person, before finding out if they got it right. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad Ben's up first with a receipt detailing an Islander that was stopped with handcuffs in her suitcase. He's sure it's Helena and gives her a snog, but it was really Malisha. Conor reckons the girl that answered the phone during sex to accept a potential job offer is Toni and they kiss, but in true triangle style - it's Emily. Meanwhile three of the boys - Harry, Dejon and Shea - have actually been busy making a secret pact to completely ignore the receipt questions and just pick the girl that they secretly want to kiss, with the trio agreeing to back each other up with their choices. But which girl does Harry secretly want to kiss? And when Dejon gets the chance to lock lips, is it Meg or Malisha that he's making a beeline for? Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad When it's Shea's turn to put their plan in action, he chooses to snog Megan, as Tommy watches on. Then it turns to the girls to slip and slide and they learn some surprising facts about the boys. Yasmin is correct to guess which Islander slept with a 50 year old woman at the age of 19, while one boy is called on to explain why he dumped a girl on FaceTime. And Harry surprises the Islanders when his own receipt is cashed in… Harry, Dejon and Shea's 'plan' comes back to bite them Later that evening, Tommy finds it suspicious that Harry, Dejon and Shea all ended up kissing the girls that they were most interested in outside of their own couples…Harry owns up to their plan telling him: 'We were all like, boys lets just forget the question and just say who you wanna kiss - so Shea was like I wanna kiss Megan, when he read it out, me and D said, 'That's Megan!'' Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad A stunned Tommy replies: 'Oh my god, f****ng hell! What do you think will happen tonight then? That will all come out?' Harry adds: 'The girls are gonna find out!' Tommy then takes Megan to the Terrace and lets her know what he's been told. Megan reels and says: 'We f***ing knew it!' Tommy says: 'Shea said, 'When it's my turn say Megan' - I think that's out of order. I don't like confrontation, but I will stand up for what's right.' Getting more riled Tommy adds: 'He failed, you shut him down and he's still going for it, the only reason I think he's doing that is to piss me off and he's f***ing done it.' Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad As word of the boys' plan spreads around the Villa, the penny is starting to drop with some of the Islanders about the choices that were being made in the challenge. And while Harry protests 'It's only a challenge' Tommy makes the decision to pull Shea.
