Sunrise star Edwina Bartholomew shares major relationship news after revealing shock living arrangement with husband

Edwina Bartholomew has revealed how her focus in life will now be her relationship with her husband Neil Varcoe.
The Sunrise presenter, 41, told The Australian Women's Weekly in a video posted to social media on Tuesday that after her cancer diagnosis, she is keen to strengthen their bond.
'Now I'm just fully focused on family, on what we're creating here, on my husband, our marriage and the people closest to us' she said.
'So just determined to be surrounded by all those people that we love and determined to build the next chapter of our lives'.
Edwina had earlier made a shock confession about her unique living situation with Neil following her chronic myeloid leukemia diagnosis.
Earlier this month, Edwina confessed that they only see each other on the weekends and public holidays.
Neil's chronic fatigue syndrome diagnosis prompted him to leave Sydney and relocate to regional New South Wales - a move she claims 'genuinely healed him'.
'That was a decision we had to make for ourselves a few years ago because what we were doing clearly wasn't working,' she told AWW.
'He lives three hours away from us, and we see him on weekends and holidays and back and forth, but it's been the best thing, and probably the only way we would have survived as a family.'
The couple share two children, daughter Molly, five, and son Tom, three.
Last year, Edwina revealed to Stellar Magazine that she and Neil had entered a long-distance relationship after he moved out of the family home to become a farmer.
'My husband lives in the country with the dog and I live in the city with the kids,' she said.
'Each weekend, we traipse back and forth between the two or meet somewhere in the middle.'
It comes after Edwina shared an emotional cancer update at Marie Claire's International Women's Day luncheon in March.
The TV star got candid at the event about how CML - a type of blood and bone marrow cancer - had impacted her life.
'I was fortunate that I had a month where I knew about it before I told everyone. I had this experience without having to go through the trauma of chemotherapy,' Edwina began.
'[The cancer] was a gift, because it put things into perspective... I didn't have to go through a really intense experience of being 'in' cancer and absorbed by it.'
Edwina added she was extremely grateful her symptoms were manageable and she was able to continue with most of the activities in her daily life.
'I had a meeting with my specialist this week and I forgot to go get my blood test. So, it is not front of mind for me,' she said.
'I am so conscious of what a gift that is, that I have been able to continue on semi-normal... I haven't had to tell my young kids, because I still look the same. It's been a real re-think in slowing myself down.'
Edwina's diagnosis is a 'mild' form of leukaemia and can often be managed without having to undergo chemotheraphy.

Art Attack star looks completely unrecognisable after huge career change

Art Attack's Neil Buchanan became a household name when he began hosting the popular children's TV show in 1990, but he looks very different nowadays - 18 years since the show was axed Neil Buchanan, famed for his stint on CITV's Art Attack, is hardly recognisable in recent photos. The artist became a household name 17 years ago when he started presenting Art Attack, a children's TV programme that aired from 1990 to 2007. ‌ The much-loved show taught kids how to create art pieces and provided tips for home creativity. Art Attack enjoyed a remarkable run of 19 series, including six Christmas specials and various other shorts and specials. ‌ ITV sadly declared its cancellation in July 2007, but reruns continued until 30 May 2011. Now aged 68, Neil went on to present shows like Finders Keepers, Animal Crazy, and It's a Mystery. However, he soon left the television world to concentrate on his music career. Neil, originally from Aintree, Liverpool, was part of a heavy metal band named Marseille, which was established in 1976. The band released four albums and six singles during their time together, even touring America and performing alongside Judas Priest, Nazareth and Whitesnake. Marseille made a comeback in 2009 with a performance at The Cavern Club in Liverpool. However, lead singer Nigel Roberts announced in 2017 that Neil had left the band due to his consultancy work for children's television. Wiltshire in Pictures: Special solstice sunrise

Thousands of people have journeyed to Wiltshire this week to witness the iconic moment of the sun rising above Stonehenge. The midsummer celebrations were marked at dozens of places across the county, including our world-famous stone circle. Here is our weekly round-up showing life across the county this week. A midsummer night's dream: Thousands of people stayed up to watch the sunrise during this year's solstice. With the main event happening at Stonehenge, crowds flocked to witness the first rays of sunlight piercing through the ancient stone archways. Brightening up: Local art students spent their work experience painting a large mural on a subway in West Swindon. As part of an initiative rolled out by Marlborough Parish Council, five pupils from St John's School, painted the 26-metre (85ft) wall under Mead Way. New chick on the block: Keepers at Longleat Safari Park are hand rearing an endangered secretary bird chick. Born five weeks ago to seven-year-old Janine and dad Kevin, aged nine, the gender of the chick is not yet known. It was successfully reared in 2024 and is now living in a zoo in Singapore. Say hello: There was also excitement at the safari park as sisters, Matylda and Manon, were the first hippopotamuses to be welcomed at Longleat in more than 40 years after their journey from the Czech Republic. Fine needlework: Volunteers at Salisbury Cathedral have made the first stitch on their part of a major project which is in collaboration with 12 other cathedrals across the country. The Saintly Stitchers will help create a textile piece called the Circle of Life, which has been designed by iconographer Aiden Hart. The project should be completed by March 2026. Time for a cuddle: These ducks were spotted having a snuggle in Malmesbury.
