Summary
Pusha Ttakes aim atTravis Scottin the latestClipsesingle, 'So Be It.'
The track hears Push andMaliceglide over production work fromPharrell, with the former directly calling out La Flame in a fiery verse. 'You cried in front of me, you died in front of me/Calabasas took your b*tch and your pride in front of me/HeardUTOPIAhad moved right up the street/And her lip gloss was poppin', she ain't need you to eat,' he raps, namedropping theCactus Jackartist's latest album and even alluding to Scott's breakup withKylie Jenner, with whom he shares two kids with.
The Clipse member confirmed that he has a bone to pick with Scott. He toldGQthat it began when the latter playedUTOPIAfor Pharrell atLouis VuittonHQ, when Clipse was also present and working. Push explained that the version of 'Meltdown' — a track that featured a verse fromDrakedissing P — that was played that day didn't include Drizzy.
Pusha T wasn't a fan of the fact that Drake's verse was included after Scott played the track for Pharrell. He alleged that Scott lacks loyalty, and takes sides when it's convenient for him. 'He's done this a lot. He has no picks. He'll do this with anybody. He did it with 'Sicko Mode'… He was on the [Rolling Loud] stage like, 'Play that, play that,'' he continued, referring to the Future, Metro Boomin and Kendrick Lamar's 'Like That' — the diss track that elevated Drake and Dot's feud. 'He don't have no picks, no loyalty to nobody. He'll jump around whatever he feels is hot or cling onto whatever he feels is hot.'
He added, 'So, that's where my issue comes in — like, dawg, don't even come over here with that, because at the end of the day, I don't play how y'all play. To me, that really was just like … He's a wh*re. He's a wh*re.'
In addition to the release of 'So Be It,' Clipse also unveiled an alternateVerdycover for their upcoming albumLet God Sort Em Out. The reveal includes a merch lineup featuring branded T-shirts in the style of Verdy, graphics with Vick, a vinyl LP, CD and cassette.

Pusha T Calls Travis Scott 'A Whore' Over His Lack of Loyalty, Social Media Piles On

Brothers Terrence and Gene Thornton — better known as Pusha T and No Malice— are reuniting for a full-length Clipse album for the first time in 15 years, and the hype around it continues to rise. Fans are excited to hear the duo trade bars on the forthcoming album Let God Sort Em Out , but have recently been on the edge of their seats after Push broke down his involvement in the Drake/Kendrick Lamar beef and his strained relationship with Kanye West. He spoke at length about it in a recent GQ interview, so fans immediately attributed lyrics from newly released single 'So Be It' to be squarely aimed at West, when he rapped ' You cried in front of me/ You died in front of me/ Calabasas took your b-tch and your pride in front of me.' But further lyrics like ' Heard Utopia had moved right up the street, And her lip gloss was poppin', she ain't need you to eat, ' proved it was another rapper in the beef's orbit: Travis Scott. In a previously removed part of his interview with GQ, Push says his issue with Scott began when he was in the middle of recording his album in Paris, and the Houston rapper interrupted the session to play Pharrell tracks from what would later become Utopia . The Virginia natives weren't feeling as Pusha remembers Scott was 'smiling, laughing, jumping around, doing his f-cking monkey dance.' Then, when he released the album days later, there was a Drake verse on 'Meltdown' dissing Pharrell where he vowed to 'melt down the chains that I bought from your boss, give a f-ck about all of that heritage sh-t.' Push feels like Scott's move was two-faced for not being transparent, also mentioning the time he hyped up Metro Boomin at Rolling Loud to play 'Like That' and fanned the flames of the beef. 'So, that's where my issue comes in—like, dawg, don't even come over here with that, because at the end of the day, I don't play how y'all play. To me, that really was just like…he's a whore. He's a whore,' he told GQ . Push adds that he doesn't hold Scott to any standard, but 'it's the principle of what I'm saying. That filthy quality that they have about themselves, that lack of loyalty. Travis really has that. He's proven.' LGSOE drops July 11, and it is said to also have a bulletproof verse from Kendrick Lamar. However, as we await the project, take a look at how social media is reacting to Pusha throwing shots at Scott below. Dave Scott, ‘Dancing with the Stars' Choreographer, Dead At 52

Source: Chris Weeks / Getty Dave Scott, a well-known choreographer who worked on shows from So You Think You Can Dance, Dancing With The Stars, and Good Burger , as well as Step Up 2 and 3, has died. He was 52. The announcement was made via his Instagram profile. 'It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Dave Scott, who touched so many lives with his warmth, kindness, and spirit,' the post reads. Originally an athlete who earned a basketball scholarship to Weber State University in Oregon, Scott was a native of Compton, California, and a self-taught dancer. He ultimately earned an associate's degree in business from the school but moved his career in another direction after Rob Base's manager saw him in a nightclub and recruited him to replace a dancer on the road. Scott gained popularity as a dancer and then as a sought-after choreographer working with artists including Ginuwine, Bow Wow, and Tyrese. In 2012, he assembled B2K and served as a co-creator and choreographer for Mindless Behavior, another teen R&B group. Scott moved into crafting dance routines for several significant TV and film projects, including House Party 4 (2001), Coach Carter (2005), and You Got Served (2004). In 2007, he did Stomp the Yard, and in 2008, he did Step Up 2 . He followed that up with choreography for the 2009 film Dance Flick . His TV credits include guest choreographer on The Wade Robson Project in 2003 and on Season 7 of Dancing with the Stars. He also worked on Season 3 of So You Think You Can Dance. Producer Will Packer posted his condolences, crediting Scott with contributing to the success of Stomp the Yard. 'This man was the choreographer on the classic film Stomp the Yard . It was my first box office success largely because Dave not only gave us incredible performances but infused it with his infectious energy, enthusiasm, and authenticity. Beyond his incredible talent he was a kind, gracious, top-notch HUMAN. Rest in power, Dave 🙏🏾🕊️.' Using the expertise he gained throughout his career, Scott became a dance instructor as well. He was the director of the Los Angeles Hip Hop Intensive, partnering with the Debbie Allen Dance Academy. He was faculty at several popular dance schools in New York and Los Angeles, including Millennium Dance Complex and Broadway Dance Center. Members of the professional dance community, including Derek Hough, Maddie Ziegler, Mia Michaels and Sean Bankhead, all expressed their condolences on social media. So You Think You Can Dance alumnus Comfort Fedoke posted, 'My heart is heavy… really heavy… but I'm beyond blessed to have gotten to know the man who was one of the people that first inspired me to dance.' No cause of death has been revealed. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested contributions to a planned memorial for Scott. 'Today we have lost an icon, a legend, a father, and a dear friend,' their statement continued. 'The weight of this loss will send ripples through time. But his memory and legacy will continue to live on.' 'We love you Dave Scott and everything you've accomplished, and the joy and comfort you've brought to people will never be forgotten,' the caption continued. 'Everyone is invited to share this post and let it reach everyone around the world. Show your love and support for this amazing individual and share the footprint he has left on this earth.'
