Rath Yatra 2025 Date & Time According to Drik Panchang, this year's Rath Yatra will take place on Friday, 27 June 2025. The grand procession is held every year on the Dwitiya Tithi (second day) of the Shukla Paksha in the Ashadha month of the Hindu calendar. Dwitiya Tithi begins: 1:24 PM on 26 June 2025 Dwitiya Tithi ends: 11:19 AM on 27 June 2025 The festival celebrates Lord Jagannath 's journey to his aunt's temple, Gundicha Temple , along with his siblings, Lord Balabhadra and Goddess Subhadra.
