Is this Carrie Bradshaw most ridiculous look ever? Sarah Jessica Parker trolled for insane hat on And Just Like That
Sarah Jessica Parker's fashionista character, Carrie Bradshaw, seemed to have missed the mark with one of her looks on the third season of And Just Like That.
During Thursday's premiere episode, titled 'Outlook Good' — which also featured a lesbian sex scene with virgin nun played by Rosie O'Donnell — Carrie was seen strolling through the park wearing an outlandish hat.
The massive bonnet-style accessory was made of a gingham-patterned fabric in shades of light orange and white.
Fans were not impressed with Carrie's eye-catching look, with many trolling her as they compared the hat to one worn by the popular cartoon character Strawberry Shortcake. Some even quipped they wanted to 'call the fashion police.'
'Why is she cosplaying as Strawberry Shortcake?' one asked, while another shared a side-by-side asking, 'Who wore it better?'

'I can get behind the wildest of Carrie's fashion choices but this duvet cover of a hat is truly unhinged.'
'I love the show but someone needs to call the fashion police on Carrie's hat lol!'
'I know nothing about fashion, but what is this hat Carrie is wearing?'
'What's happening here...' someone else wondered.
'Are we all seeing this, is this a joke, what is happening?'
'I'm sorry, but what was that hat? I feel ill.'
'2 things I could've done without on the 1st episode of Season 3... This hat and Rosie O'Donnell.'
'Carrie's Yosemite-Sam-Meets-Aladdin 'hat' is the epitome of everything wrong (and perfect) with #AJLT.'
Elsewhere on the show fans were stunned by a shocking performance from newcomer Rosie, who played a sex-starved nun.
The sequel to the fan beloved Sex and the City series follows friends Carrie Bradshaw (Parker), Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon), and Charlotte York Goldenblatt (Kristin Davis) and their tangled lives in New York City.
The first episode of the new season features Rosie, 63, in her guest role as a virgin nun named Mary, who is Miranda's potential lesbian love interest.
The two hit it off at the bar, and Mary proceeds to flirt with Miranda, telling her, 'You are so pretty' before brazenly letting her know that she has a 'hotel room.'
The morning after their passionate night, Mary reveals a truth that leaves Miranda utterly stunned: she had taken Mary's virginity.
Following the premiere, bewildered fans took to social media questioning the wild plot line, with one asking, 'Who came up with that!?'
'Omfg, miranda finally comes out as a lesbian and her first pickup is rosie o'donnell as a nun, christ, wut,' another one asked.
'Miranda hooking up with Rosie O'Donnell and it hasn't even been 10 minutes… what the hell sure.'
'Not a virgin!!' another fan chimed in.
'Giiiiiirl, Miranda and Rosie O'Donnell was not in my bingo card.'
'Really Rosie O'Donell!!!'
'I was -not- expecting to see Rosie O'Donnell pop up!'
Another wrote: 'I'm only 7 minutes into Season 3 of 'And Just Like That' and we're already in a lesbian bar with Miranda going home with Rosie O'Donnell. When will they ever learn to read the room?'
The scene starts out with Mary, who hails from a small town outside of Winnipeg, telling Miranda that she is in town for the world conference for 'Compassion of the Unhoused.'
Mary then invites Miranda to her hotel. 'Okay,' Miranda responds, after a moment of hesitation.
Later on Miranda and Mary wake up next to each other in bed.
'You are amazing,' Mary tells her. 'I have never experienced anything like that.'
Miranda and Mary hit it off at the bar, and Mary proceeds to flirt with Miranda, telling her, 'You are so pretty' before brazenly letting her know that she has a 'hotel room'
'So then, this was your first time with a woman?' Miranda asks 'This is my first time with anyone,' Mary responds. She further shocks Miranda by admitting she is a 'nun'
Miranda later tells Carrie that the nun is 'in love' with her, and continues to text her trying to meet up. Miranda says she feels 'mean' for not texting back, but eventually goes to meet Mary in Times Square
Mary proceeds to tell her that their encounter felt 'electric, and yet, still so natural.'
She then drops a shocking bombshell, telling Miranda: 'I never dreamed my first time could be both those things.'
'First time?' Miranda questions, to which Mary nods.
'So then, this was your first time with a woman?'
'This is my first time with anyone,' Mary responds, adding, 'I'm a virgin. I was a virgin.'
She further shocks Miranda by admitting she is a 'nun.'
The second season finale wrapped up with some significant shifts, especially for Carrie, who hosted a farewell dinner party in her iconic single-girl New York City apartment, gathering the cast to symbolically let go of something holding them back.
Carrie herself let go of the 'expectations,' particularly concerning her rekindled romance with Aidan Shaw (John Corbett), who put their relationship on an unexpected five-year pause and explained he needed to focus on raising his son, Wyatt.
The latest episode starts out with Carrie sending Aiden a postcard to Virginia, with just a heart scribbled on it.
Afterwards, she meets with Miranda and Charlotte at a bar.
She tells them that Aiden wanted no communication while he handles family issues back home, but that they've been sending each other post cards.
Miranda asks Carrie if she's sending him postcards to 'remind him you're getting old in New York.'
Later, in the middle of the night, Carrie gets a call from Aiden. He tells her he misses her and that he's sitting in the back of the house in his truck drinking beer
They then proceed to have phone sex, but it's interrupted when he accidentally honks the horn with his knee
Carrie explains she is simply trying to 'let him know I'm here, I love him.'
Carrie then reminds her girlfriends that she has a busy life away from Aiden, explaining, 'I'm a big girl in a big city with a big house to furnish. I've got plenty to do up here while he figures stuff out down there.'
Carrie and Charlotte then leave Miranda, as they think she is being hit on by another woman.
However, when Miranda approaches her, she introduces herself as Miranda's son Brady's former babysitter, Cassandra Walsh.
Miranda then awkwardly tells her about her divorce from her ex Steve Brady (David Eigenberg).
Nicole Ari Parker and Sarita Choudhury returned as the group's new besties Lisa and Seema.
Seema has an accident after lighting up a cigarette in bed, causing the mattress and her hair to light on fire, with a fireman later chastising her for smoking in bed.
Carrie and Seema are then seen strolling through a park, with Carrie rocking a giant eye-catching hat on her head.
Later on Carrie returns home and proceeds to slip and fall while running to turn off her house alarm.
Miranda comes over to help her, and reveals her sexual encounter with Mary.
Later, in the middle of the night, Carrie gets a call from Aiden. He tells her he misses her and that he's sitting in the back of the house in his truck drinking beer.
Seema has an accident after lighting up a cigarette in bed, causing the mattress and her hair to light on fire, with a fireman later chastising her for smoking in bed
They then proceed to have phone sex, but it's interrupted when he accidentally honks the horn with his knee.
Aiden then proceeds to go on but Carrie can't, after noticing her cat watching her. However she continues to fake it, before later telling her girlfriends that she feels 'dishonest' about it.
Meanwhile Seema breaks up with boyfriend Ravi Gordy, after feeling ignored by him.
The scene then switched to Miranda, who tells Carrie that the nun is 'in love' with her, and continues to text her trying to meet up.
Miranda says she feels 'mean' for not texting back, but eventually goes to meet Mary in Times Square.
Mary then invites Miranda to 'spend the night.'
Miranda tries to get out it, as Mary proceeds to sing a verse from Wicked to her.
Carrie calls Aiden later in the night, and tells her she faked their phone sex the night prior.
She then attempts to start it up again, but he tells her his son is sleeping next to him. Embarrassed, she awkwardly apologizes and hangs up.
Unable to go to sleep after he house alarm goes off again, Carrie gets up and opens her laptop, beginning to write.
'The woman wondered what she had gotten herself into,' Carrie wrote, before the episode came to an end.
The show picks up 11 years after the events of the 2010 film Sex and the City 2, and follows three of the four original main characters.
Following the success of Kim Cattrall 's cameo in the second season, it's been widely reported Samantha will return for at least part of the third season.
Sara Ramirez will not be returning as controversial non-binary comedian Che Diaz (there's some disagreement as to whether this was because of their political posts, because of the end of the character's relationship with Miranda, or because viewers just found them so annoying).
Karen Pittman also won't return as Columbia law professor Nya Wallace because of scheduling conflicts.
Meanwhile The OC's Logan Marshall-Green and the one and only Patti LuPone will all make appearances in the new series.
Since starting in December 2021, the Sex And The City spin-off has seen Carrie, Samantha and Charlotte grapple with sexuality, gender identity, death, grief, divorce, drug use, and pretty much every other hot issue in Western society.
The original Sex and the City ran for six seasons, airing on HBO from 1998 until 2004.
The story continued with two feature films: Sex and the City (2008) and Sex and the City 2 (2010).
The first season of And Just Like That... premiered in 2021.
There will be 12 episodes in And Just Like That… season 3, with the last premiering on August 14.
The season 3 premiere comes after Parker revealed Mr. Big's death on the show was 'really hard' for her to film.
The actress addressed the shocking moment in the show where Carrie's husband Mr. Big (Chris Noth) died of a heart attack after working out on his Pelaton bike.
Mr. Big had been a staple character of Sex And The City and Carrie's main love interest so it was a risk for writers to kill him off.
Speaking on The E! News Sitdown with Bruce Bozzi, Sarah gave her thoughts on the storyline.
She said: 'Big dying was really, really hard to do both professionally and personally. That's not just a thread. It's one of the main arteries that you would struggle to do without.'
'It was really sad to say goodbye to that. It's not like I needed it for my own health or wellbeing. But that was a hugely wonderful story to tell for a lot of years.'
Since Big's death, Carrie has rekindled her romance with old flame Aidan, who she was involved with in seasons three and four of Sex And The City.

Bombs over Iran, but no heads-up for Dems: Irritated lawmakers gripe they were left in the dark on secret strikes
Congressional Democrats are blaring they were kept in the dark about President Donald Trump 's Saturday night strikes on Iran 's nuclear sites. Representative Jim Himes (D-Conn.) and Senator Mark Warner (D-Va.) the top ranking Democrats on the House and Senate Intelligence committees, respectively, did not know about the attacks until after they took place, sources told CNN. Himes, part of the intelligence-heavy Gang of Eight, voiced outrage: 'According to the Constitution… my attention to this matter comes BEFORE bombs fall.' CNN also reported that other Democrat members of the Gang of Eight did not get a heads up on the operation. Warner indicated he was 'frustrated' by the delay in being briefed. Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, the ranking member on the Senate Foreign Relations committee complained that the president bucked a bipartisan tradition of 'regularly briefing Congress on major national security events.' Meanwhile, other Democrats, including Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.), are contending the Iran strikes were ill-advised because the country 'posed no imminent threat' to the U.S. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer responded to the attack with a call for a vote of the War Powers Act on the Senate floor. 'No president should be allowed to unilaterally march this nation into something as consequential as war with erratic threats and no strategy,' Schumer said in a statement following the American strike on Iran's nuclear sites Saturday evening. 'Confronting Iran's ruthless campaign of terror, nuclear ambitions, and regional aggression demands strength, resolve, and strategic clarity. The danger of wider, longer, and more devastating war has now dramatically increased.' I was briefed on the intelligence last week. Iran posed no imminent threat of attack to the United States. Iran was not close to building a deliverable nuclear weapon. The negotiations Israel scuttled with their strikes held the potential for success. — Chris Murphy 🟧 (@ChrisMurphyCT) June 22, 2025 NEWS — Chuck Schumer says Congress must enforce the War Powers Act. I am voting for it and implore all Senators on both sides of the aisle to vote for it.' — Stephen Neukam (@stephen_neukam) June 22, 2025 Ranking Member Jim Himes on Military Action in the Middle East — House Intelligence Committee (@HouseIntelDems) June 22, 2025 In post on X, Himes critiqued Trump's decision as unconstitutional, without approval from Congress, a position endorsed by anti-interventionist Republican Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky. Massie, the first member of the president's party to condemn the strikes, joined forces with California Democrat Ro Khanna last week to introduce the Iran War Powers Resolution in the House of Representatives 'to prohibit U.S. involvement in the Israel-Iran war.' At least two Democrats called on Saturday night for Trump to be impeached over ordering the strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities. New York Democratic Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez went scorched earth with her statement posted on X. She said: 'The President's disastrous decision to bomb Iran without authorization is a grave violation of the Constitution and Congressional War Powers. 'He has impulsively risked launching a war that may ensnare us for generations. It is absolutely and clearly grounds for impeachment.' 'The decisive destruction of the Fordow Fuel Enrichment Plant prevents the dangerous spread of nuclear weapons in the world's most combustible region. EXCLUSIVE The three near-death experiencers who came back with the SAME message from the afterlife
Many near-death experiencers seem to return from their journeys with a similar message, and for three people who nearly died, they're convinced Earth is an illusion. Unlike many other out-of-body experiences, Joyce Keller, Nanci Danison, and Bill Letson didn't return to their bodies with a newfound sense of appreciation for their life here on Earth. Instead, each person claimed that they received an extraordinary message from the afterlife, saying that what we consider the real world is a dream, and the realm we call the afterlife is the actual reality. Moreover, the three who died and were brought back to life, said that the love of the afterlife is completely unconditional and is something they can't wait to return to. spoke to Keller, who said she's had multiple near-death experiences, and was just 18 months-old when she 'died' for the first time. The New Jersey -born author said that her father was a pharmacist, but was unable to get her fever down when she developed strep throat. 'There were curtains next to my bed that had big flowers on them, and the center of one of the flowers, which was like a daisy, an Angel appeared and said, 'It's time to come with me,'' Keller said. 'She reached her hand out, and I reached, took her hand, and I went with her, and that started my journey of out of body experiences,' she added. Keller said that the angel told her that human life was an illusion, and that she would live a life devoted to teaching when it was time to go back to her body. 'I had been out of my body for about a half an hour, I guess, and my parents accepted the fact that I was dead, but I came back,' Keller explained. When she was just seven years-old, Keller had another experience where she drowned while in a lake in Long Island, New York. 'My older sister took me by the hand, and we started to walk out into the lake. About 10 feet out, we both stepped into a very, very deep hole,' Keller recounted. 'I just kept going down and down and down, and I couldn't breathe. I accepted the fact that I was going to die, and then the same blue light appeared - a beautiful blue angel,' she continued. During this second near-death experience, Keller said the angel again told her that she would return for a life of teaching and healing. However, the angel also said that Keller would go through a period of suffering. She went on to write 12 books, but experienced a major disappointment during a failed a TV audition, leading to depression and despair. That's when Keller said the angel appeared in her life again, playing an Olivia Newton John song that had never been heard before. That song would be released a week after Keller's experience, which she said convinced her that she was connected to God and the cosmos in a unique way. 'My consciousness was elevated to another level. They said, You don't have to be depressed about anything. We're taking care of you,' Keller said. Another woman who had a similar experience in the afterlife was Danison, who died in a mammography room while undergoing tests in 1994. Danison, a scientist and devout Catholic from Ohio, was suspected of having breast cancer and was awaiting a biopsy to confirm the diagnosis. She told the Outer Limits of Inner Truth Reborn podcast: 'It was an allergic reaction to the local anesthetic that she used for that, combined with very low blood sugar, I just died. After the radiologist left... I just left my body.' Danison said she encountered a presence that was more like an energy field than a God-like entity, which she called 'Source.' It was this energy source that told her that human life was an illusion, created so that Source could learn from observing human experiences. 'The most compelling thing was the information that I am not a human. I'm not a human being, that humans are animals that are indigenous to planet Earth and that what I am is a spiritual being that inhabited the human,' she said. 'Source is innately, unconditionally loving and we as parts of Source are innately unconditionally loving. We know what love feels like. We feel it in the afterlife,' Danison continued. 'At the end of my near-death experience, I accepted the mission to return to this life of Nanci and to share with anyone who would listen to everything that I had learned in the afterlife, and also to experience unconditional love within this lifetime,' she added. Danison said that when humans die, they're simply waking up from a dream so they can resume their existence in what we call the afterlife. She added that people should focus on love, all the people they've loved, and the bliss they expect to feel after crossing over to join Source. 'You will be going HOME to your true home, to unconditional love and acceptance. Remember that you will leave all the pain and sorrow behind when you go but will take with you all the love and cherished memories,' Danison explained. Letson, a retired firefighter, found out that life was an illusion during a near-death experience which showed him the afterlife was a place of peace and joy. Letson briefly died after contracting the flu while on duty and being given medicine which caused a fatal reaction. 'I was trying to sneak out of there and they came in and they gave me some drugs that they were giving everybody and I reacted to that. I mean, I went down immediately and my wife was there and she said your eyes just rolled back and you fell straight back on the bed and they couldn't get you back,' Letson explained. He described the afterlife as a 'sea of welcoming euphoria and joy, heaping praise on me and acceptance and love.' Letson added that he realized that the 'person' he had been on Earth was not really him, and that human life was not the real reality. 'All I could think of through all of that was how in the world did I forget who I really was? How is it possible that I fell for this?' the firefighter explained.

EXCLUSIVE Friends pick sides in Kevin Costner's ugly split... and declare boycott of ex-Christine Baumgartner's lavish wedding
Less than two years after they finalized their bitter divorce, Hollywood star Kevin Costner 's ex-wife Christine Baumgartner is set to walk down the aisle again… only, this time, to the Yellowstone actor's once-close friend. It was previously reported that Baumgartner, 51, will marry her financier fiancé Josh Connor, also 51, in a low-key ceremony in Hawaii with only close family and friends in attendance.
