Unexpected crash and empowerment

One of my biggest learnings has been that you can transcend the limitations of what people, or even you think you can achieve.
Even when many scoffed, and most would argue that a woman's place is behind and under a man, I proved them wrong. This is not coming from show-offishness, but from an inherent belief I had that you're actually capable of much more than your mind convinces you of. Three decades ago I believed I could. A young girl, I rose to be an empowered woman, and got paid more than the men. I negotiated my own modelling contracts as my Air Force/economist father taught me growing up—Manage your finances—and showed me the importance of savings. With investments, you get a seed (of cash), you grow it into a tree that bears fruit and flowers, which you can sell if ever need be.
And today, financial awareness is a part of yoga—something I initiated with Anufunyoga. To maintain a healthy lifestyle and a hassle-free existence, one should escape from vrittis (mental fluctuations or disturbances that arise in the mind). Putting an end to vrittis, is one of the deepest goals of yoga.

Rs 115000 crore deal, fighter jet better than Rafale, faster than US F-16, speed is...., name is.... With major countries like Russia, Israel, and Iran at war, the situation is very critical. India has also had a military confrontation with Pakistan and is in an ongoing cold war with China. In such a situation, India is facing defence challenges on two fronts. Therefore, New Delhi is strengthening its air defence system while simultaneously upgrading its armed forces with the latest weaponry. Keeping in mind the needs of the Army, Air Force, and Navy, the government is constantly taking crucial decisions. China has given fifth-generation fighter jets to Pakistan, creating tension for India. It has now become necessary for New Delhi to equip Air Force with 5th-generation fighter jets so that future challenges can be tackled. As per several media reports, India can buy the US's F-35 or Russian Su-57E fighter jets in the coming years. Some reports suggest that New Delhi can buy fifth-generation aircraft from Russia as it is better in terms of price and technology transfer conditions. However, India is also developing indigenous fighter jets with indigenous technology. DRDO and Hindustan Aeronautics (HAL) are developing fifth and sixth-generation fighter jets under the Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA) project. Another news is that HAL is going to deliver the Tejas MK1A fighter jet soon to the Indian Armed Forces. Tejas MK1A Fighter Jet Tejas MK1A is a 4.5 generation fighter aircraft. The Indian Air Force has signed Rs 67000 deal with HAL under which it will get 97 Tejas MK1A fighter jets. As per reports, the flight testing of Tejas MK1A will be done in July, and after that, the jets will be given to the IAF.

Transforming Uttar Pradesh: The Ganga Expressway and Gorakhpur Link Expressway

VMPL New Delhi [India], June 21: Uttar Pradesh is witnessing a remarkable transformation in its infrastructure landscape, spearheaded by ambitious projects like the Ganga Expressway and the Gorakhpur Link Expressway. These expressways are not just roads; they are lifelines that promise to accelerate economic growth, enhance connectivity, and improve the quality of life for millions. The Ganga Expressway: A Game-Changer in Connectivity Spanning an impressive 594 kilometers, the Ganga Expressway is a 6 lane (expandable to 8 lanes) greenfield expressway connecting Meerut in western Uttar Pradesh to Prayagraj in the east. Designed for a maximum speed of 120 km/h, it is one of India's longest expressways and aims to reduce travel time between these two cities from 10-12 hours to just about 6 hours. Traversing 12 key districts, including Meerut, Amroha, Budaun, Shahjahanpur, Hardoi, Raebareli, and Prayagraj, the expressway integrates seamlessly with major corridors such as the Purvanchal Expressway, Yamuna Expressway, Agra-Lucknow Expressway, and Delhi-Meerut Expressway. This network enhances both regional and national connectivity, making Uttar Pradesh a pivotal hub in northern India. The infrastructure is world-class, featuring 2 main toll plazas (Meerut and Prayagraj), 15 ramp toll plazas, 9 public convenience centers, 14 major bridges, 126 minor bridges, 28 flyovers, 7 rail overbridges, and 929 culverts. A unique feature is the 3.5-kilometer emergency airstrip at Shahjahanpur, designed for Air Force use. Economically, the Ganga Expressway is set to be a catalyst for industrial, commercial, agricultural, and tourism development along its corridor. It will facilitate faster movement of goods and people, spur real estate growth, and enhance accessibility, thus boosting the overall economic landscape of Uttar Pradesh. Environmental sustainability is a priority, with over 1.8 million saplings planted along the route and the use of fly ash in construction to reduce the carbon footprint. The greenfield design minimises congestion and ensures modern standards of road safety and efficiency. Future plans include extending the expressway by 120 km from Meerut to Muzaffarnagar and further eastward to Ballia, which will increase the total length beyond 1,000 km in subsequent phases, further amplifying its impact. Gorakhpur Link Expressway: Strengthening Eastern Uttar Pradesh Complementing the Ganga Expressway, the Gorakhpur Link Expressway is a crucial greenfield corridor connecting Gorakhpur to the Purvanchal Expressway via Azamgarh. Stretching approximately 91 kilometers, this expressway links four districts--Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Ambedkar Nagar, and Azamgarh--enhancing connectivity in Eastern Uttar Pradesh. Designed as a four-lane expressway (expandable to six lanes), it features multiple bridges and interchanges to ensure smooth and safe travel. The Gorakhpur Link Expressway significantly reduces travel time, promotes industrial growth, and opens new avenues for trade and investment in the eastern region. Conclusion With projects like the Ganga Expressway and Gorakhpur Link Expressway, Uttar Pradesh is rapidly transforming into "Expressway Pradesh." These modern expressways are boosting connectivity, driving economic growth, and linking every corner of the state like never before. Under strong leadership, Uttar Pradesh is setting new standards in infrastructure and development, paving the way for a faster, safer, and more prosperous future.
